“Nice suite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

I stayed in a beautiful room, a 2 room suite on the 4th floor. The suite was absolutely huge, however it was overlooking a loading dock, with lots of truck noise very early in the morning. Im not sure I would rent a suite again, I think the guest rooms are fine. If you havent been there before, MGM is huge.

Room Tip: Higher floors are better

This is the first time i have written a review but felt i had to as this special holiday was made even more special by the MGM Grand.I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews but i have nothing negative to say.Check in was quick & easy & i wished i could remember the check in lades name to say a massive thank you to her for upgrading us,sending us champagne & strawberries to our room & giving us tickets to see KA it was our first cirque show & truly amazing. This holiday was a treat after i had donated one of my kidneys to my sick fiancé & the MGM new this & made it extra special. Our room was gorgeous in the tower on 28th floor over looking the desert to lie in bed in the morning looking out of our massive window was spectacular. The room was cleaned daily with clean towels daily.I know this casino is a big one and gets very busy especially at night with the night club Hakassan but not once we did we get disturbed from noise at night. There is a big choice of restaurants & so handy having access to the monorail to take you up and down the strip.Everyone was so friendly and helpful and check out was so easy and transfer by taxi back to the airport quick and easy and very well organised.I would recommend the MGM to anyone going to vegas. So a big thank you MGM grand for giving us a truly amazing holiday, and if you can find out who checked us in please tell her she made our holiday extra special thank you….

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to top floors of the tower

We stay at the MGM every year for the past five years. Staff are excellent, food & shopping is great. So much to choose from. If you want to "tour the strip" take the monorail which is located just past the front desk. There's a lot of walking to be had in Vegas, so this is a great thing to use if you run out of steam, or in need of getting to a show quickly. Be sure to get a players card even if your not really into gambling because you will receive complimentary stays, food, if you check at the hostess stand the night before you leave. Subscribe to the MGM's email and you will receive great offers there too.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed in a suite on the 13th floor which was very clean and the size of our entire home and was reasonably priced. Fantastic pools and spa which was very relaxing. Would definitely go back and stay at the MGM.

We stayed in a 1br suite and could not believe the room!! We loved it, we were only on the 2nd floor (due to we did not want to wait for a room higher up) and actually enjoyed the location, no waiting for elevators, getting stuck in one with 10 other people, no stopping at 3 or 4 floors before you get to the casino!!

There was some construction noise by our room every morning and some staff noise late at night as we were by the service entrance but we still really liked our room and location and MGM took our complaints in consideration when checking out.

Yes the hotel is big but there is so many options to eat and drink that you never have to leave if you don't want to!! Our room was super clean and the maids definitely took care of us and our room for the 3 days we were there. The casino is great, lots of slots to play but the wait staff was few and far when we were gaming.

The one thing that was lousy was the hour we waited in line to check in. I have never waited that long and it was not by their fault as I counted at least 10 people at the counters and they were quite fast in checking people in but our girl still took the time to try to find us a room on a higher floor, we did not feel like they were pushing us through the line to get rid of us. I believe we got stuck with a bus load of conventioners!

The pools were great, service was good. We did not eat at the pool but had a drink that lasted my husband a couple of hours!

It depends on what you like when you go to Vegas but I can say that we will definitely be back, MGM became my favorite hotel in Vegas.

I really liked the hotel. We got a good rate and decided to give it a shot. It seems to cater to a younger party crowd but there was definitely something there for everyone. We asked for an upgrade and got a nicely appointed room with a great view of New York, New York and the Luxor Pyramid. The room was nice but nothing to write home about.

The main floor of the hotel is hopping! Great place for people walking since every variety of people are staying there. I loved the hustle and bustle of it. (We actually walked through several other hotels throughout our course of stay and it definitely seemed like the MGM was the busiest-- some others like the Palazzo and Venetian were downright creepily dead.)

The lazy river and party pool were quite entertaining. It was fun watching all the drunk party kids. Seemed like everyday was spring break!

The thing that stood out for us was the service. We had great service from every employee we encountered there! I wasn't expecting such personal attention at such a large establishment. The workers really made a difference in our trip.

I would recommend this hotel to others looking for a good value hotel in vegas that isn't too snooty and not terribly over-priced.

MGM Grand was great with Zac Brown and Jimmy Buffet concerts on Friday night and Saturday night. Plenty of friendly staff keeping the crowds in a great mood. The restaurant choices were tremendous and wine choices top notch. Plenty of other attractions all within walking distance.
