Had fantastic honeymoon here, hotel is fantastic frm minute u pull up at front, staff helpful, rooms beautiful jus didnt like that you can't open windows to get bit air in,, has air con an heatin controls. The pool areas are amazing although nt all parts were open as we were there 1st wk march. There's shops, bars/nite clubs, restaurants an fast food places, everything u cud need. Jus expect a long walk from room to hotel entrance. Over all wud stay here again :)

My husband and I stayed here in June on a business trip for 9 days. It was a great experience. The cleaning staff was great, as well as the in house dry cleaners. There were quite a few pools to choose from, and a channel you could float down. The room was very clean, and I am quite picky, as I had heard of bed bugs in Vegas, so checked everything first thing. No problems the whole time we were there. Food was good in the little restaurants on the main floor. There is a little shop in the MGM that has exquisite shoes, and I couldn't leave without buying 3 or 4 pairs. The customer service desk treated us very well, and was very helpful and patient. One of the days we had a Garth Brooks concert we had to be at in 20 minutes at the Wynn Hotel. We ran outside and seen the huge line up of 50 people and almost cried. I ran up to the person assigning cabs and told him our situation and that we were staying here at the MGM. He right away motioned for a limo, and we were riding in style. We made it to the concert on time, feeling very special, and had a very good impression of the service of the MGM Grand. They really go out of their way to go that extra mile. We were really impressed, and will definately stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a room on a higher level with a South view, I believe the 10th floor, and we had a peaceful s...

Green Features: There were not a lot of papers in the room, and they had Wi-fi in the room so you could surf the net on your laptop. Green toiletries, and the room was not stuffy, always good air flow.

I have a wonderful stay, just wished the check-in rep. would have explained the m life program to us. The bartender's could have been little more friendly. I liked the fact the hotel smelled refreshing and not like smoke.

Great stay! No complaints! We checked in on August 31st at about 8pm so we avoided most of the crowds. As I am sure checkin lines were very busy due to a Holiday Weekend. We were on floor 21 in a grand king facing away from the strip and loved the view! Rooms were perfect and we understand how large the hotel is so we had to walk some for somethings but not for others things. We love the room and will stay in the same kind again.

The location is excellent considering distances from airport and its position on the strip and surface transportation. Although a very large hotel, access to everything feels about the same as all things are in Vegas.

Room Tip: Have not had a poor room

I stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in April, 2013 in a renovated grand room. I must say that this is not my first time staying at this hotel but it never fails me. I love the nice soft beds and the attention that the staff puts forth. Yes, this is a huge hotel, but you quickly get the lay of the land and once you learn how to navigate through it, it's eazy peazy. I enjoy the amenities that the MGM group offers and will always stay at an MGM hotel. The weekends can get crazy crowded but so does Vegas as a whole on the weekends, but if you stay here you will not be disappointed.

The hotel is quite Grand as the name says. We arrived in the evening and there was no line up to check in. If you happen to try to check in during 10 am and 5 pm, be prepared to wait in line for a while....
Our stay at the MGM lasted 4 nights and it was great. Rooms are nice and clean, with modern furniture. Easy access to the Strip and Monorail. Overall great hotel and would probably stay there again.
