While we are on our quest to stay in EVERY hotel in Vegas...OK, probably not 'every' one, but the noteworthy of all, Mandalay Bay ranks very, very high. Their pool is hands down the best you will find. The wave pool, lazy river, abundance of beach chairs -I HIGHLY disagree with a previous poster on this-the beverage service, real sand!, music, and general ambience. The pool area always had plenty of space. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. A slight complaint was our bed; which sagged into the middle; it didn't affect our sleep, or lack thereof from gambling the nights away, but it was a bit uncomfortable on one's back. We found the staff to be friendly and accomodating, from the valets, maids, check-in staff, etc. I called housekeeping twice - once for a phone book and another time for a corkscrew. They delivered the items very, very quickly. Bathrooms were very spacious with two sinks, separate spa tub, and walk-in shower. One wall is floor to ceiling windows providing a great view. I give the Mandalay Bay top marks for a very pleasant stay.
