“Main Street Station The Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014

I've stayed at the Main Street Station for the past 5 years and have always enjoyed every stay. The Casino has the best video poker machines. The food is great. Can't beat the location. It's one block off of Fremont St and the rooms are quiet, clean and nice. All their employees are courteous and friendly. They treat you like family. I highly recommend Main Street.

Excellent pay tables on Video Poker; great valet parking personnel, rooms are generally ready earlier than advertised, been staying here 3-4 times/ yr. for the last 15. Decent food in both venues. Nice ice cream shop via the overhead connection.

Room Tip: Ask for the streetside rooms.

I have been staying and playing at Main Street Station exclusively since the late-1990's. They treat their cliental with the utmost respect, whether it be room related, casino related food and beverage related......everything !!!! All of their employees are, and I mean ALL, are courteous, friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to satisfy their patrons. I highly recommend this
hotel/casino to all Las Vegas visitors to do not want to deal with the hustle and bustle of The Strip. You have everything there, and only minutes away from the acclaimed Fremont Street Experience. Only a 10-15 drive from the airport, and easily accessible. A 5-Star star place to stay and play !!!

Room Tip: Corner suites are large, sunny and beautiful. The bathroom is spacious.

We've stayed here two years in a row and we find the value, location, staff and rooms to be of above average quality for below average prices. This is our go-to in Vegas and you can't beat it's proximity to The Smith Center, which is Las Vegas's best theatre for anyone who is serious about entertainment while in Sin City.

Room Tip: The non-smoking rooms are a bit beat, IMHO.

I always stay downtown. The room was 400 square feet, the largest rooms in Vegas with 2 queens. Stayed their July, 2013 going back 2-25-14. Hey, join their players club, total cost 4 days 85 bucks. If your staying any other place except the El Cortez your paying to much!!!!!

The hotel is located in old vegas and very close to an outlet. The price is great but there is no breakfast included. They have a good restaurant but their buffet food is too unhealthy for me. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the strip by bus.

Love this hotel and especially the Triple 7 bar for drinks and food. Get a B Connected card. It allows you to get discounts and extras. MainStreet Station Hotel is connected to California Hotel so no need to go outside in heat or cold to visit another property. One block away from Fremont Street where there is something going on all the time. Super solid hotel with a great staff and fun place to stay. Car rental right in the lobby and a bus station in walking distance if you feel the need to leave the downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers to kick it old school meaning no pool, no fitness center and no spa. If you don't use those amenities than this is perfect becasue you're not paying for them either.

Room Tip: I haven't had a bad room. Either side is good. If you are a light sleeper ask for the side with...
