First off I will say that my stay was actually a good one here at La Quinta. The check in process was very fast and the girl was very friendly. I will say that once we drove around to our room, the parking lot was a bit scary for my taste. No lighting and a few homeless people hanging out. Our room was very clean and the microwave and fridge worked out great for us. The bed was BEYOND comfortable, clean and large, better than mine at home and made for a wonderful night sleep. the bathroom, however, was not the best. The big jacuzzi tub would have been good if it wasn't kinda dirty. Its not that i don't think it was cleaned but the stains looked like they were set in and probably not able to come out with a normal cleaning.Just time to replace the tub all together. Also the hard wood floors had a few water stains under the sink, and the fixtures were all really old and rusty. This property is a pet-stay hotel and we did hear a dog bark a couple of times but nothing that would keep us up at night, but on the other hand the air conditioner was really really noisy and a bit irritating at night. The breakfast area was really clean and nice but not a big variety of food. The waffle maker was the highlight but other than that you got a bagel or hard boiled egg and that was it. I stayed at the Comfort Inn a few times and their free breakfast included waffles, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs and a variety of cereals, juices and pastries. I was expecting something similar but it just didn't compare. The check out was very simple, charges were correct and I got double points as a La Quinta member so it was all good. I would stay here again, especially for the price.
