Very disappointed with my stay. I have been staying at flamingo for 10 years. I have never stayed in room with such terrible conditions. Floor was full of spots, furniture looked dirty, faucets out dated and lamps cousing shorts.

Room Tip: Don't get a room in the 12000 floor. Not very nice at all.

We stayed in a room that was in desperate need of an upgrade. The furniture was worn and dated and the bathroom was grungy. Our smoke detector was held on with Scotch tape. Our room was obviously surrounded by water pipes, we had difficulty sleeping because of the constant running water sounds 24 hours a day. The elevator was filthy and looked ancient and each time we left we were accosted by sales people trying to sell time shares or show tickets. This gets very tiring!! The pool had a line up by 8:30 am and we were not let in until the pool opened at 9, once our bags were searched. We bought refillable drink cups the first day only to be told we were not allowed to bring them in the next day, even with water. We were rudely told not to move our chairs at the pool, and the water was a little dodgy looking, perhaps a cleaning might be in order.

Great place for family and kids. Plenty to do, to eat, to relax and enjoying good company. The room are comfortable and spacious, the pool is great and renewed very good place for kids to have fun. The hotel is located in the heart of the strip in Las Vegas it could not be better place to be.

Room Tip: best location on the strip

After arriving after lunch to check in, we were told check in won't be until 3-6pm and were told to stand in the key line as it will be faster, came back later at 4pm and the room wasn't ready yet, and no one knew when it would be. Came back at 11pm and stood in the key line which had no employees working at the desk except for one checking in the massive line of new guests. After 30 minutes of waiting and no associates deciding to work, as they all eventually emerged from the back room AFTER a group of us had to express our anger and frustration to a security guard who found a manager for us, and then to top it off the employee could care less about our issues. The lack of customer service at this hotel is one I haven't experienced in Vegas ever, save your time and stress and go stay at a hotel such as Treasure Island or The Linq were we have had amazing experiences.

The elevator and the halls are pretty rough but the rooms are very nice. The whole wall is a window which makes the view amazing.I had a high roller view and I would think a strip view room is even better.I didn't realize the Flamingo was such a huge hotel complex which made it very crowded.

Unless you have Diamond Rewards status, the lines and waits for everything are beyond long. Our room was one of the rooms that had been redone. However, there were no outlets near the night table to plug in anything extra, Okay, so you go to the room's desk..,nope, no outlets unless you crawl under the desk for one plug. The cleaning people did not completely clean (the bed was made, wastebaskets not emptied). Valet lost our keys and had to have new key fobs made so we were without our car for two days. We were given a small credit on our bill which did not get applied to our final bill until we called them on it. I gave it two stars because the concierge in the Diamond Lounge was so helpful.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room that has been updated and facing toward the pools.

Green Features: They try to be ecco friendly so I would say they are fairly good.
