“Fabulous Fabulous Flop”

Was a complete let down and will never stay there again! It ruined our vacation! Upon arriving we waited almost a hour before we were checked into our room. Once we paid the resort fee of $100 and another $300 in a deposit. The three of us were so excited for the hot pink and the fun! Little did we know how gross our room would be! We opened the door and say a disgusting mess of beer cans and other remnants of a party. Needless to say that started our trip off on a sour note. We went down to get it all sorted out and we're finally after and hour given a "upgrade" meaning we were given a mini fridge. The TV didn't work very well and the hallways smelled of weed. Only 2 elevators were working out of the 6 in our bank! We would wait minimum of 15 mins and upwards of 45 mins. It was horrible and super frustrating! House keeping was slow and our room wasn't cleaned until evening! Meaning being able to get ready to go out of dinner and shows was hard! The pool is small and over crowded! Each person has to have a room key and photo id to get in and if you don't have enough keys then you pay an extra $10. Which they don't tell you until you are down there. Very hard to order drinks and staff is rude unless you are a VIP.

I have stayed here many times, good clean rooms, great location.

On my last visit, we stayed in a GO room located on the side of the south wing. No problem with the room itself HOWEVER - they had just opened the Drai beach club at the neighboring Cromwell which we directly overlooked. Constant blaring/throbbing music from lunchtime until 3am. We were on the 24th floor, approx.. 16 floors above the dance floor/pool and the music was sooo loud we could make out the lyrics of the songs over our room tv.

We will not stay here again without ensuring we are in a room located as far away from this nuisance as possible.

I know Vegas is a place to let loose and have fun but I do expect when I close my hotel room door to be able to enjoy some relaxation time

Elevators were old and noisy - not working the greatest. Hallway carpet was horrible - dirty, missing in some spots, and stretched and rumpled in other places. Did not get the type of room I was expecting. No refrigerator in room.

We went to Vegas for a bachelor party. This hotel was the perfect setting.
We don't care about the staff, we don't care about the room condition, we don't care about any of that junk that people are complaining about in other posts.

The pool at this place was awesome!!! Big, inviting, drinks allowed in pool. I think I might have saved a man's life because he had too much and I dragged him out of the pool. We started up a massive game of catch with a football that got half the pool going strong. It was fantastic!

We did some gambling at this location but who cares about staying in one location!? this is vegas! go out and live a little! Caesers is right across the road and don't listen to what anyone tells you, the real Caeser lives there. Be sure to stop by the sports betting area to hang out with Mohammed Ali's statue and pretend like he's punching you in the face.

The buffet at the flamingo was pretty solid too. i ate there for breakfast each day, it was 20 bucks which was kind of pricey but for the food i got it was worth it, didn't really end up eating much for the rest of the day as there was plenty of beer to go around while at the tables.

My best advice to you. Stay hydrated. Ask the bartenders for water frequently.

If you're going to Vegas to critique your hotel then go stay at the Wynn or something. If you're going to have a great time and enjoy life, the flamingo is more than accommodating and served our purpose just fine. We had rooms on both sides of the hotel and let me tell you, those views are something else. get a room as high up as you can go and marvel in the beauty.

Room Tip: get a room on the upper floors

Went with the family to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. Arrived for check-in around 3:30ish on Friday, June 26th. Check-in line was super long. Took about an hour to get to front desk then another 15 minutes or so to get keys to rooms. I put our "adult" kids in 1 room with double beds. We went up to the room with them to check it out. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE ROOM. The room was nothing like it appeared online. I booked through booking.com and was given the crappiest room I have ever seen. The hallway and floor itself looked like a former drug apartment building you'd see on TV. It truly was disgusting. AC didn't work in the room, furniture was all tore up, the bedding was stained etc. Just a complete let down and horrible room period. Went back to front desk, we spoke to a manager and he up graded the kids room for a $50.00 charge of course. Seriously? After all that the upgrade should have been free. Got to the kids new room and what a complete change. 17th floor view. Absolutely beautiful. In every way. Decor, beds, TV in the mirror in bathroom, Bellagio strip view. The kids loved it. Wasted so much time switching rooms, paying for upgrade than we did enjoying the hotel our first night. It took about an hour to get our luggage but it was a Friday afternoon. Only 2 elevators were working. My husband and I stayed in a Pet Friendly room, 16th floor in the Spa Tower, obviously because we were traveling with our fur babies. We actually liked our room. It was huge. King bed with chase lounge chair, partial strip view if you face plant to the window...lol. Bathroom was extremely tiny but I greatly appreciated the room size so my babies had more space to run around.

The casino was good. Very spacious. But as with anything in LV, everything is overpriced. Spent $80 on 2 Enchilada dinners and 2 Cesar Salads from the Cantina down by the garden area. Crazy prices. The hotel lobby/casino was actually very clean and customer service was okay. Some people were so rude but what can you do.

THE POOL - oooooooohhhhh, the pool area is a joke. 10am Saturday morning and there was an hour long line to get in the pool area. The main pool, were the DJ plays at 10am was packed. DJ didn't even arrive until after 3 I think. We reverted to the upper pool/family pool which is much smaller but we did find lounge chairs and it worked for us. The waterslides were awesome. My adult kids and husband had a great time sliding down them.

Overall - The location was great. Very close to everything if you don’t mind walking. Aside from the “kids” room upon check-in, I would most definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: If booking through sites such as Expedia or Bookit.com, you will be assigned to the crappy, outdated...

THe hotel, accomodations, and meals were excellant, The only down fall was the 45minute line up at the check-in desk with 3 agents working, the pool was very crowded but that is to be expected on a weekend. .

I booked the day before I flew out for the Flamingo and selected it as it was centre strip.
I requested a strip view room and could not have got a better room than i did, i was right opposite Caesars Palace and had the Bellagio fountains to my left.
The room was clean and tidy with 2 queen beds, a functional bathroom with shower and a wide screen tv.
My only complaint is the room I was given had large cracks in the centre window panel which was disturbing being on the 26th floor.
The housekeep ladies were very good and tidied around my large amount of shopping daily.
The cost was only £260 for 5 nights which included a saturday night which is always 3x as much as any other night of the week.
The food court was adequate with 4 options, I tried the asian and the pizzeria and both were nice for a snack.
Lobby area very large and organised.
Gym a little disappointing as the equipment is quite old and squashed together.
The pool area though it looks very nice is far too small for the number of rooms, the sunbeds are 1st come 1st served which is understandable but there are no where near enough which means many people end up putting their towel on the concrete to lay down.
The pool opening time of 9am is far too late when the sun comes up at 6am and it is 90 degrees at this time, you then have to wait in line to gain access to the pool through a security check which i get but to make you throw your water/ juice in the bin upon entry seems a little odd.
I would stay here in the winter but not in the summer due to the poor poll area which goes hand in hand with a summer vacation.

Room Tip: high floor strip view
