Our first night we were awaken at 4:30 am by a pallet jack outside our window and a few floors down. After a room change for the rest of our stay, we had no additional noise problems. I would remind guests this is an old hotel, and though it’s been “updated”, the casino and rooms are still dated. The price and location can’t be beat!

Had a great waitress, Zoe, every morning in the casino and she was FANTASTIC. Sam at the front desk was AMAZING at coordinating our room change. However the gentleman at the front desk when the rooms were ready was a jerk. He made us feel like our reason for changing rooms wasn’t worthy and “this is Vegas – it’s loud” was his response.

Nevertheless, love Vegas, but I will spend the little extra next time.

Everything was fine with the hotel except you don't get a fridge or microwave in your room. That was very inconvenient. You get what you pay for here.

Very convenient location on the strip.

Bad luck on the table gambling.

Overall the hotel was decent for the cost.

Flamingo is under renovation....it's an old hotel/ casino. But the location was amazing!!!! the staff was really nice, I LOVED how helpful and kind our cleaning staff was. But they did love to have conversations with eachother from the rooms they were cleaning...that was frustrating!! For the money, heck yeah I'll do it again!! I mean let's be honest, if you booking a hotel in Vegas to stay in your room then you wouldn't want this hotel...although the beds were extremely comfortable!! Yeah, there is nicer places but your going to pay for them...big time!! Our shower was amazing....but we had friends/ family with us and my sisters room had poor water pressure. We had a dusty bathroom (light fixtures and cabinets) and the shower curtain attacked me....but those are my biggest complaints. Again, I would stay there again....

Room Tip: It was loud in our area of the hotel....if your looking for something quietier you will have to be s...

Location is great. Lots to offer for what I needed: food choices, game choices, location ease of other hotels and businesses, and getting to the valet is super easy. Like that there is a bit of green space too.

Room Tip: Quiet side on poolside.

assigned a pet room and my wife is allergic to dogs. No remedy for problem.Have been coming to flamingo for over 10 years and have never experienced the unwillingness to be assisted by the staff. We asked to have our resort fees comped and were told that could not be done.

We found our hotel online and the rooms available at the time were in the GO tower and with the strip view. The prices were very reasonable ($40/night during the week)...of course you have to remember they also charge a "resort fee" on top of their nightly rates which is almost all hotels in Vegas so you can't really get away from it but it's something to remember. The location of the hotel was amazing. It was a $16 taxi ride from the airport (only $13 back!) for 5 people. Check in was not great. We had checked in online so we went to the "room and keys" line which was still pretty lengthy. We went to an older lady named JOICE. She was very slow! She said our rooms weren't ready even though it was after the check in time of 4:00 pm. She said they are not guaranteed at 4, but sometime between 4 and 6 pm. The Flamingo employee in the lobby said to go right at 4, but not before. So they need to get their information straight on that. Needless to say after a very long check in process, we took the elevators to the 17th floor, tried our key multiple times to find it not working...only to have someone open the door from inside to tell us we had the wrong room. Joice wrote down the wrong room number. Back down to the lobby we went, however we did not stand in line again and I apologize to anybody we budged in front of! The next person was very quick to fix the mistake and we didn't ask for anything in return - we just wanted our room. The waitresses in the casino are less than optimal. We had much better luck next door the LINQ, where they were very quick to bring drinks even playing the penny machines! Playing $1 machines at the Flamingo brought a waitress but never returned with the drinks. We at the Mexican restaurant for supper one night which was good but our waiter disappeared even though we wanted more drinks. We ate the breakfast buffet each morning around 10:30 - 11 am and were full until night time. There are coupons for $5 off so be sure to look for those. The food court was handy and the fire cooked pizza was GREAT and cheap. If you go out the doors towards the Linq (not directly on the strip, but keep going past the buffet) is a Kitson shop and also the walk way to the High Roller (very close and recommended), multiple restaurants. The other direction, just a few doors down, is the Purple Zebra which is a daiquri bar that I highly recommend. You buy a glass and can fill it up with more flavors than you can imagine. You get refills for cheaper once you buy the glass. Also look for a 20% coupon for here! AND...they have $3 bottles of beer! They don't advertise this but it's a great deal. Look for coupons online or in coupon books before you buy anything...you never know. The staff in the lobby at Flamingo were very annoying with their time share gig. It was ok getting asked once or twice but it was every time you walked through. I finally started saying we were flying out that night or just ignoring them. The elevators need some work. Not all of them were running and they were slow and seemed half broken. They were a little scary! The hotel itself isn't 100% but the GO rooms are more than fine and the location is amazing so I would definitely stay there again. Our door had a huge crack underneath it (maybe they all do) so we had to stuff a towel in there to keep the light out at night. One night we could hear some music playing outside or next door but we were so tired it didn't bother us. We couldn't hear any noise from the hotel itself and the beds were comfortable enough to sleep in on!

Room Tip: Get a GO room with a view of the strip. From what I've heard the GO rooms are much better and t...

Air condition blower very noisy. But the room is clean and location is great and convenient to everything. It's very close to Caesars Palace where we are watching the show. I can stay here again as long as the air on blower is not noisy because I'm a very light sleeper.
