The pit I play the most was being remodeled, but I still like to play it because there are a number of very personable (and, yes, attractive) dealers and floor people there. The location of the hotel in the center of the strip is a huge plus ... very convenient for accessing fine dining and shows on other properties, too.

My stay at the Flamingo in December 2014 went very smoothly. I had read many other reviews, both good and bad, and I will now share tips that hopefully can help out other travellers. I made my reservation online with the hotel directly and received exactly what I had asked for, a GO room with two queen beds. Room and corridors were very clean and our surroundings quiet, beds were comfortable. View from the room was a non-factor as I did not request anything special. I received excellent customer service, especially at check-out. The hotel's location really is excellent, right in the middle of everything really. Should you need to use the Monorail, there is a station. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food I had at two restaurants in the hotel, namely Carlos'n Charlie's and the Paradise Garden Buffet (with Total Rewards rebates available should you wish to use your card). It is true that there can be a bit of a wait for the elevators, or that they make strange noises at times. However, I found that it was a rather interesting occasion to chat with other guests and have a laugh or two. We're all mostly on vacation after all. All this to say that it was a good stay at the Flamingo and I hopefully one day will be back for another visit in the land of pink!

You get what you pay for!!!!! The first two elevators near the lobby need to be fixed, we can see between the floors when standing in the elevator, scary! We had to pay extra $22 for early two hours check-in, the rooms did not have fridge, microwave or coffee machine. The carpets are stained and wriggled, never once during my 6 day stay were the carpets vacuumed. When purchasing water or pop it costs $4/each in the hotel store or vending machines. On the positive side, the pizza restaurant in the Flamingo was amazing with really good portions and prices. The Flamingo is right on the strip but there are a lot of better hotels. Don't forget your most comfortable walking shoes, you will be doing a lot of walking in and outside the hotel.

We went to the bar and casino, we didn't stay in the hotel on this occasion. Classic Vegas, if you like pink neon you'll love the Flamingo! Kinda tacky, but in a good way. We went as a group of friends and had a terrific time playing on the slots and drinking cocktails.

1st the good part. I love the location. Caesars is just West, Paris is South and the Bellagio is kitty corner. Great pool area when the weather is warmer. Good food choices.
Now the part I don't care for. $28 resort fee isn't worth much. Early checkin cost more dollars as does early check outs(up to $50)unless you upgrade your room. Also be careful, if your a tall person, very low ceilings going to hotel rooms.
I know most Vega$ hotels do this(the price of admission)but I remember a time when Vega$ was friendlier to the ones who paid the bills. I will take my vacation dollars someplace other than Vega$.

Old vegas classic. Friendly staff. Needs modernization. Family members had a great time, but I prefer the newer properties. Lines long at the front desk so I was glad to be able to check in/out in the VIP room.

We enjoy the Flamingo because the employees are very friendly. The atmosphere is down to earth and easy to find things without getting lost.
It has all the ammenities you could ask for. It is in the center of the strip, so you can walk anywhere you want from there. The casino is just the right size.
