Went for 15 year wedding anniversary! And Flamingo was excellent...as always! Especially love the Margaritaville Casino which has the best dealers and cocktail waitresses. Never leave there without a fun time!

I was in town for a convention for work. We booked a total of over 350 rooms. We stayed in the convention portion of the hotel. It was very run down from the carpet in the hallways to the damage to the ceilings in the bathroom, to the lack of plug in for electronics. The furniture was very rough looking and appeared to have been there for many years.
I have stayed in many hotels on the Strip over the past several years traveling both for business and pleasure, but this room was probably the worst.
On a positive note, the beds were fairly comfortable.
I would go to another venue for a couple of dollars more and get a much better room.
Time for a re-model!
It is close to the center of the strip

Stayed at the Flamingo as part of a batchelor weekend. For that purpose, it was fine. The hotel is busy, loud & lively. The pools were fantastic for drinking & having a great time, and the rest of the facilities like the buffet, casino etc were good options. The location is one of the best on the strip. The room was just ok, it had clearly been used by many different partying guests over the years & it showed. It wasn't bad, just a bit worn & old. The carpet in the hallways where I stayed was about as dirty as you could get, however I did venture into the suite hallways which were fine. This is a large, loud hotel. If you want to party & don't plan on spending much time in your room, it's pretty good. If not, maybe spend a little bit more & go elsewhere.

Have stayed at the Flamingo off and on for the past 50 years. Main reason is the central location, right on the street, not one or two blocks back. Stayed in a FAB Deluxe room. Premium rooms were all booked. As usual the front desk was strictly business, no smile, not a hint of welcome. They really have to work on this. The carpet in the hall was a mess and dangerous, loose and baggy. The room was clean with a new laminate floor. (They got rid of the dirty W2W carpet). Big improvement. Big clean comfortable king size bed. Big TV. Nice room for a FAB except the bathrooms haven't been upgraded.in this category. The Premium rooms have fantastic glassed in showers and TV built into the mirror. As to the view, there was none. I was on the 4th floor facing south overlooking a roof. Not really a problem for me as I don't spend that much time there anyway. The maid service was very good. My only advice would be to try and get an upgrade to a premium room and insist on a room facing Caesars Palace. Fantastic views... Well the were before they covered the windows with Donny and Marie. Also check your bill before you leave, they tried to charge me for extra WIFI. I had to check out at the front desk to correct the error.

Flamingo is a classic hotel with reasonable table limits and good energy. It is perfect for the group of folks who does not want to spend $10,000 every trip to Vegas. The pool is also very energetic and offers outside gaming experience which both my wife and I truly love. She can lounge poolside while I play some table games.

We stayed here for 4 nights in August and loved every minute of it. We got upgraded to a go deluxe room. We were in room 18080 which had a strip view. The view looked straight at Ceaser's palace. The room had 2 king size beds. The bathroom was massive with a brilliant shower and tv in the mirror. The room was very clean, tidy and quiet. We have stayed at TI in a suite. The quad twice and the Westin before and this was by far the best hotel we had stayed in. The pool is fantastic all though the sun beds do get taken up early but by luck we were able to get beds. we also got $18 each to spend on food and there was a good variety of food to choose from. Its also in a great location as well. If we return to Vegas we would stay here again without a doubt.

Room Tip: Ask for a go deluxe room with a strip view
