“Best Location, Great Pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed today NEW

Above average, service was good and employees were friendly.
The location on the strip is unbeatable, and a few bartendeds and cocktail girls went above and beyond to accomodate me. Slots were tight like most on the strip. Margarettiville was crowded and overpriced, but still fun for our group of eight ( six of them over 60).

Room Tip: Go rooms are better than most rooms of the same price on the strip.

Location is ideal. Casino area is comfortable - not too small or too large.
Elevators are slow. Could use more places to hang our bath towels. Enjoyed having a tv screen at the bathroom sink. Would prefer greater privacy with the bathroom doors although the glass doors are a nice touch,

One of our best Vegas experiences that number in the dozens. Once they replace the elevators this wonderful property will likely become our Vegas go to place. Gaming is excellent - in my opinion the best on The Strip. Love the property with several pools, great service, great people and amenity choices.

Room Tip: If you are facing the pool it will have some noise during the day due to the pool party and music...

Nostalgic Vegas for a great price. We always stay at the Flamingo. It's the best. The staff is great, the casino and rooms are clean, and the pool 9th great. Fun place to play blackjack, dine, and party.

The Flamingo truly is one of the best places to stay on vegas! Rates are beyond reasonable, the rooms have HARDWOOD Floors (yes think about that) and the dealers are OLD School, and truly make you feel they are having as much fun as you are!

Room Tip: All I have to say is HARD WOOD FLOORS!!! And in Vegas that is truly the best part of the room! - Vi...

I came out for a bachelorette party. I had stayed one night before my stay at the Flamingo at the Venetian and it was amazing! Maybe that was my problem. The whole place just screams low class. There were hardly any elevators working while I was there so it took about 5 min at least each time to get on one. One of them was completely dark(NO INTERIOR LIGHTS) and the other had broken glass all over. The hallways are stained with God only knows all over the carpet and walls. When we were getting into our room they were completely removing everything out of one room because someone had died in there!(That is what the Staff had said) Yikes. The bathtub had scum running down the faucet area. There were only 2 towels in the room. The next morning, I woke up with horrible back pain because the beds were like sleeping on bricks. The room was hot, you couldn't make the thermostat go any lower than 65* but it was definitely hotter than 65* in the room! I ordered room service one night and asked for spaghetti and meatballs. After 90 min wait, all I got was PLAIN pasta, no sauce. I didn't even call back because I didn't want to wait that long again! I think they know that, so service is terrible. It is one of the lower priced places on the strip so that caters to a certain caliber of people. If you don't get down to the pool area by 8am, all of the chairs are reserved with towels. Literally! I was shocked. When I was staying at the Venetian I got down to the pool at 1pm and there were many places to choose from! They do have another "family" pool area but all of the chairs are formerly white, now gray, stained and split and cracking. They were disgusting! Our next option was to rent a cabana for $300 plus %18 gratuity to even get a spot to sit down. We went to the breakfast buffet. Honestly I was shocked at the state of the food on it, and they took $20 bucks off me for the pleasure! The scrambled eggs tasted like dehydrated and reconstituted. I've been to a few other hotel breakfast buffets on the strip and this was definitely the worst. I rarely make such scathing reviews but this place was horrendous. I can't believe its still open. I would pay a little more, especially if you are with a group, and get a MUCH nicer hotel. Don't be cheap and stay here. You will enjoy your trip so much more!

Room Tip: There aren't any.

Girls trip. Had a blast and felt very comfortable staying at the Flamingo. The property was very easy to find your way around. I was impressed by the flooring in the rooms, makes for a clean environment.
