“Great price!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

We got a room for $35...so I can't complain too much. The room itself was really awesome. The bathroom, however, is really outdated and kind of yucky. But again...who's in the room in Vegas?? The hotel itself could really use a good cleaning, new carpet/etc. Looks like they are starting the process of updating. The Flamingo really is in the best location. We were able to hit all the hot spots and not be too far from our room. The Pool and Habitat area are really neat, too. We appreciated the little general store - they had a little of everything and not bad prices. We ate off property, so I can't really report much on that. Servie was excellent except for all the people chasing you around inside the hotel trying to get you to book shows & tours. THAT was really annoying. I'd stay here again - may upgrade to a better room next time but again, $35 is a great deal!

Just back from Las Vegas 2 Senior ladies. Thank goodness we didn't stay at the Flamingo.
It is tatty and the restrooms leave a lot to be desired. Very smelly although staff were there
and appeared to be cleaning them.
Do not eat at Carlo's and Charlies the food is served cold and tastless being microwaved although when pointing it out to staff was told "we don't do that". It was the dearest meal we
had all week and not worth a quarter of the price. The show of Donny & Maria was good and
worth going to see. But eat elsewhere before or after.
Go to Ballys the same group for much the same price at least it is clean and the staff very
pleasent and helpfull. We were upgraded without asking and given a nice clean room although
not much of a view but as we were out all day it didn't matter.
Hope they do the same to Flamingo as they are doing to Quad improving and updating.
Certainly wouldn't stay there until some changes are made.

The Flamingo is located right in the heart of the Strip across from the Bellagio. Parking is free, and there is no resort fee. Through Total Rewards, we were able to secure an updated double queen room for just $38/night, making it a great value. There were some cons: Checking in was a pain -- we had to change rooms three times because the batteries on the door locks had not been changed. Once we got into the room, it was nice to see it had been cosmetically updated and the wall of floor to ceiling windows afforded a partial Strip view. However, the bathrooms were outdated and the floors were dirty. We had to ask for blankets as there were none on the beds. There was only one lamp on the single nightstand between the beds, which would be a problem for anyone who wants to read while the other person tries to go to sleep. There was no refrigerator in the room. I've stayed in better rooms, but this wasn't too bad for the price.

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room away from remodeling noise and check to see there are blankets.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the flamingo, and need to say not very impressed. Unfortunately didn't think to take photographs so no visual evidence to back me up.
First off location is ideal, right on the strip (shootings aside) and very much in the middle of all the hustle, casino has all the goodies, machines, tables, slots, and value priced buffets, but this place has supposedly had a major refurb last year, and being an English tradesman I think they should have had a 2nd quote. Our party of 3 couples stayed in the habitat named area of the hotel and all comments are the same.
Firstly, check in was a joke we had booked rooms but still took 45 mins to check in, 3 couples on 3 seperate floors (although all booked together, not a deal breaker but a bit ridiculous) tired rooms lack of fridge (might be a casino ploy to make you use the buffets) bathrooms definitely need redoing, dust which looks like mould in the vents, taps leaking constantly so cause a hissing noise a bit annoying more than anything.
For a 4 star hotel, lino flooring seems a bit below par, but comfy beds and tv in room. Biggest surprise on the last night found that the snack machine on our floor was inhabited by cockroaches, now being on the 14th floor thats some climbing for these things.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this casino but other reviews differ to mine, just don't expect too much there is alot of choice on strip.
We have sent a complaint in to the Flamingo just hope they don't offer me a free stay

This hotel casino sits right across the street from Caesars Palace and in between Harrah's and Ballys. The cheapest rooms were okay but the bathroom fixtures were old pay the extra money and get a "Go Room" which is entirely upgraded. The Go Room has flat screen tv, separate shower and tub, automated drapes, the white headboard to give a modern look and overall is a really nice room. The blankets are not plush down comforter type but the bed was really comfortable. Word of advice make sure u specifically ask for a room that does not face the Harrah's Carnival unless u like loud music until 3 am. I've stayed at all the nice hotels on the strip and the "go room" at this affordable hotel isn't those but it is clean nice and comfortable. I payed 117 for the weekend night and 70 a night on weekdays. Go by the convenience store that faces the strip to grab some alcohol or snacks and say hello to Dawn who will surely provide u good service. Inside the flamingo is a Johnny rockets for that late night greasy food that hit the spot after a few drinks. We didn't use the pool but they have a nice garden area and we could see the pool from our room which looked nice.

I kid you not, this claims to be a four star, rude staff, dirty bathrooms, room services trays and pizza boxes left in the hallways for days, cockroaches (and our room was on the fourteenth floor!!, we were a party of 6, pre-booked via ASDA travel (useless) after a very long flight, we then had a check-in of 50mins, we were split across three different floor, apparent re-furb - WHERE!! old, worn & that's being kind!, DIRTY Bathroom in the all rooms, don't bother complaining to staff, wasting your breath and time queuing. 40min to 1hrs wait (and this is out of season) for a small pot of tea to your room, and the tray will then remain outside your door on the floor for the remainder of your stay along with the used pizza boxes. And lovely families of cockroaches living in & around the water/ice machines - and we were on the 14th Floor!

Staff friendly on arrival and was offered an upgrade on the room at a really good price. Ended up on the 25th Floor on the strip with fantastic views over Caesars Palace and Bellagio. Room itself was very comfortable with good bathroom facilities with TV in bathroom as well. Have a look round the Habitat with the flamingo's. Only downside was that a few of the lifts seemed to be out of order for first couple of days that caused longer waiting times. Overall would stay again, however its a shame that they are starting with the resort fees.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with a view of the strip. See the Habitat
