I stay at the Hard Rock from 10/30/09 to 11/02/09 for Halloween party long week-end. I got a great deal on Travelocity for a car and 3 nights with a Mountain View room. Check in was very quick efficient & friendly, the clerk upgraded me to a pool view on the 15th floor Paradise Tower and warm me about the sensor for the fridge in the room. I asked if the pool view would be noisy and was told that because I was so high up it would not be bad and that the pool close at 6pm. I really like the hotel feel, they play music even in the elevator, great picture all through the property. The pool was nice, I found a Jacuzzi and stay it because the pool water was freezing, and the sand beach was a nice touch. The Mr. Lucky‘s “Gambler special” was a very good deal & tasted pretty good (thanks Jinsav for the tip). The best thing about the hotel was the bed, it was extremely comfortable. Starbuck store in the hotel was also nice. I was able to checkout using the TV which saves a lot of time. Most of the Hotel in Vegas Charge property fee, so you don’t have to tips valet and all, I don’t think it is that bad & actually like that.

My husband and I did a spur of the moment trip to L. Vegas because our great friends from Hong Kong were going to be there for a conference. I chose the hotel because my husband who is a true music lover has always dreamed of staying there so he could gush over the guitars, etc. We stayed in the hip-n-cool paradise tower - facing the pool.. Thank you for this-- front desk! What classy renos you have done here. The room was perfect - super clean -- super modern. The bathroom awesome! The beds -- are heavenly - clouds !!! Slept like babies -- !!!!! Can you imagine - and even in Vegas? The pool areas were manicured beautifully -- nice atmosphere. Except for the fact that the pool water is sooo freezing. I don't think I could stay in long on a 100 degree day even. Also some of the lounges are looking it bit beat-up/tattered from your REHABs on Sundays. The purple bus at the Hard Rock Cafe (in front of the hotel) is very convenient when you want to go to the strip - it drops you off at Fashion Mall. The John Varvatos is also a store all music lovers should visit. It is within the complex. Awesome staff -- cool gear, clothes, etc.. Also, ate at both Pink Taco & Luckys.. Both cool... Pink Taco has a fun happy hour so check it out!

We booked this trip primarily to see Judas Priest at Thomas and Mack arena. What better place than the Hard Rock to stay . RIGHT? Location! short easy walk. The beast that is the Priest was AWSOME! Best show ever! The Vegas fans were great!all the people at the arena were nice, and the Hard rock also delivered! Our check in was very easy, we got a great room in the old edition on the sixth floor near the middle,GREAT view of the strip and pool area, and the doors open up to let in the sights, sounds and energy of vegas like NO OTHER Hotel Casino in Vegas can! The room was clean, maid service top notch! Everyone we encountered there was VERY nice! But having that french balcony was incredible! The pool was fun but not quite what I expected.(We had very high expectations) But the Barmaids and drinks made up for it.We booked an extra day so we could experiance Rehab! Did not dissapoint. Soddem and gamorra.whether at the pool or watching from our balcony from above, what a party! We also got tickets to the WEC fight that night at The Joint. WOW! Hard Rock knows how to pull off any event with style.Had a great time, all 4 days. We will be back when all the construction is done. But not to stay at the new towers, nothing could compare to the french balcony's open air exciement and energy

It was a guys week-end away. This place really sucked. Dirty and past its prime. Customer service was bad and they stiff you with a $7 a day "resort fee" plus $100 for checking out a few minutes after 11am. Hello its Vegas Don't stay here!

We had not traveled to Las Vegas in nearly 9 months and it has been nearly 2 years since we stayed at the Hard Rock. Because it had changed ownership, we spent our time at the Palms since they have been very good to us with comps and free rooms. The Hard Rock was actually cheaper than the Palms for the night that we stayed, so we decided to give it a try.
I have to say from the minute we arrived, I remembered how much I enjoyed the Hard Rock!! The music is loud and hip. They have added pole dancers to the casino floor, and have generally upgraded the quality of everything including the chairs in the casino which have a snake skin look. The reason that we enjoyed the Hard Rock so much has to do with the friendliness of the staff. Many casinos have dealers that don't engage you and act like they can't wait until break. The Hard Rock staff was very friendly and engaging. They gave great tips and suggestions about where to eat and what to do. Subsequently, we ate at a new restaurant there called Ago. It was Italian, and we both had delicious and perfectly cooked risotto. Normally, we would go to Nobu, but decided to try something new and we were pleasantly surprised.
Our room was a renovated room in the casino side, not the new tower. It was very hip, all back and white, with sort of an Ed Hardy feel. Good job Hard Rock! The shower pressure was great and the beds to die for!!!
My only complaint was that the room had no drinking glasses, but it did have an ice bucket? After a night in Vegas, you need to rehydrate and you need drinking glasses!! Anyway, we called room service and they brought some up. What's the deal? People spending nearly $200/nt are stealing the drinking glasses? Weird!
Anyway, thanks Hard Rock, we'll be back!!
