“Fun place to stay & play”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

This is a great hotel to stay at! The bars there are alit if fun! Even the lobby bar is great! If you stay there during the summer of course you have Rehab! Which is a crazy good time! The casino is always fun and packed! I used the spa and the services were good! The only thing I was disappointed was that there was no restaurants open late to eat at! Which is a necessity I'm Vegas! However there is an excellent pizza place right across the street! Open 24 hours and get for a late night snack!

Love staying here. Nice, clean property. Being just off the strip and the smaller size make it more intimate than a lot of the larger hotel/casinos, but it's really easy to access everything. Dealers are great and a nice mixture of food options. The rewards program is really good and the comps offer great value. Love seeing shows at The Joint.

What a great place to stay in Vegas! Off the strip, but that's ok-free shuttle to the strip! Always seems to be more crowded than some of the bigger casinos-love the energy! Summertime is a must also-the pools are great as is the service.

My fiance and I stayed at the HRH Tower. The suite was awesome. The bathroom was very nice, enormous tub and shower. Very clean room and bathroom. 2 flat screen tvs and a docking station for your iphone with speakers everywhere! I have nothing bad to say about the hotel or room. The casino was great. Our friends stayed at the Luxor and MGM Grand but when it got dark everyone wanted to go to the Hard Rock Hotel. My one and only complaint was the food options at the hotel. There was a steak house that I never saw open. There was a diner type restaurant that was too expensive and the food was okay. I would stay there a million more times except for the food options. The breakfast was extremely expensive. There is a Hard Rock Cafe in the same parking lot that had breakfast which was over priced but very good. It's a little off the strip but a great place to stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Ive only stayed in the tower suites. Rooms were quiet and very large. Beds were great! If you sta...

PROS
Requested a higher floor at check-in to avoid noise (and a view inside the parking garage) and was graciously accommodated. Very peaceful and comfy.

Lots of things to do inside the hotel itself. Bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, spa, and you get coupons for them.

Checkout via the TV, express checkout, or at the desk. I did the TV option and picked up my receipt from the desk.

CONS
No outside food or drinks at this hotel. Lame, but tolerable until you realize this means no minifridge or microwave for the items you may have purchased INSIDE the hotel. Even cheap motels have fridges, come on.

Minibar is sensor-weighted so they can't even DUST it to make it look appealing. Actual minibar is not cooled and says not to leave your food or medicine in it (no fridges, remember?). A Coke machine will dispense a cold soda. This was just pathetic. A run to the ice machine fixes this though.

Bathtub was broken - no water pressure at all to even turn the shower on enough to trickle. Called for Engineering, 30minutes later left the room for a show without showering. Came back up a few hours later and there was a little caulk dust on the edge of the tub, so we started trying to draw a bath - slightly larger trickle of water and the shower could spray but I wanted a relaxing bath. Husband had to help, filling the tub with hot sink water with the ice bucket. After 20min we finally had enough water to "relax" and bathe in...

Surprise resort fees of $25+tax per day. Made booking via Priceline to assess various fees for total price useless. We could have stayed on the Strip for less. For $70/night I expect a fridge and working tub. The last place I stayed was $30/night and had a full kitchenette so this was just completely unimpressive.

Stayed 5 days in HRH leading up to New Year. Rooms were clean and quiet, Hotel was spotless and the staff was very accomodating and friendly. It was nice at the end of the night to return from the crazy over crowded strip to the smaller, less crowded Hard Rock. Would recommend to anyone.

I just stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I had stayed a few nights at Mandalay with friends and then transferred over my last couple days at Hard Rock. Mandalay's rooms were bigger and nicer, but the atmosphere at Hard Rock is awesome and fun.

I stayed in the less expensive tower, which meant it was way too loud and I was woken all night by noise in the halls. However, I had just a pleasant stay. I went to the gallery/rock photo store and the guy working there was so nice that I and other patrons struck up a conversation and spent an hour there talking to him. I went to the greatest restaurant where the bar tender was just awesome and suggested a drink when I told her what I like and she hit the nail on the head making me a great drink. I had fabulous food.

The next day I spent the whole day in the spa where they picked up lunch for me from my choice of restaurant and they were just fabulous.

I love the HRH

Room Tip: Pick the more expensive towers. Even though you will get a great and comfortable room in the Casino...
