“Great Hotel on Freemont Street!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

We always stay at Four Queens because of the location, friendly staff and clean rooms. I love the atmosphere of Freemont Street. The casinos are close together and the street is well lit.
The streets are closed to traffic. The only traffic is crossing the street to the next block.
If you want to go up on the strip there is a bus stop just around the corner.

First of all the room was so outdated !! The wall paper was peeling away from the wall ! The bathroom looked like it was all falling apart !! The air conditioning was so loud !! I can deal with all that ! That's fine, but when it came to the BED !!! OOOOh my goodness !! I always love to sleep at a hotel because of the comfortable beds. But for this hotel (four queens) the bed was so miserable! I could feel the springs in my back, the middle of the bed was sunk in ! I even went to the other bed and it was worse !! Everything else was great, the employees were friendly ! The coffee shop had good breakfast !!! If your staying there to sleep on comfort forget it, don't waste your money !!!!!

The rooms were surprisingly clean and comfortable for a group rate of $31 per night. We stayed in room 501 in the North tower. We were unable to get an early checkin so we waited until 1pm to get checked in. We did get a late checkout at 1pm at no additional cost. There was a 6pm late checkout for 50% of daily rate. We use self parking for $10 which was on the 4 or 5 garage decks. One person in our party had an incident in the parking garage where things were taken from his car. Valet parking would be a safer choice.

My husband and I stayed here, room 1706. The room was large, bathroom was big enough; plenty of closet space. Our room overlooks the Fremont Experience. There are ear plugs available in the bathroom, if needed ☺ The Fremont Experience light show is noisy at night; but, we already knew this. so, it wasn't a problem to us. The room had a nice coffee maker and plenty of coffee available. We enjoyed being here, and would definitely stay here again!
When we checked in, my husband asked the desk clerk about validating a parking garage ticket; the clerk explained; then my husband asked another question--and she seemed irritated that he didn't quite "understand". Maybe she had just had a bad day. We never know what's going on in other people's life....

Room Tip: If you don't want the noise of the Fremont Street Experience, you could ask for a room on the ot...

Room was dusty. Size was okay but bathroom was closterphobic. Great location downtown & good free $ to gamble with. Fine inexpensive place to stay if you plan to be up until 2am every night you are staying because you can hear the live music from Fremont Street. The hotel does provide earplugs along side the usual shampoo & conditioner.

The room was almost what we wanted........It was clean, spacious enough and ready for us upon arrival. It was on a high floor, not too far from the elevator and had 2 beds.......BUT, It was not a nonsmoking room. The desk clerk knew this, but told us it was nonsmoking while checking in. The hotel had no nonsmoking rooms available, so he just said "yes, sir" to my questions about the room and sent us on our way.
Turned out, it wasn't bad. We were there for a 2 nt stay and could have changed rooms for the second night, but it wasn't worth the hassle of packing up to move for just one night.
In talking with other desk clerks, we learned that it's apparently their "policy" to just check nonsmoking guests into smoking rooms that "haven't been used by smokers in a long while".

Room Tip: Book an even-numbered room so you hear the FSE at night.

It was really poor. The hotel have to remodel and fix many parts of it. Also, the location is really far from the main streets and city. The streets nearby the hotel is really dirty and dangerous. This hotel does not provide any services but the bad room. 4Queens hotel just burns my pocket. I am really regret staying in this hotel.
