My husband and I stayed one night in Las Vegas at Caesar's Palace. When we went to check in there were 1600 people checking in that day so we stood in a queque for 40 minutes waiting to check in. The person checking us in was apologetic, but the check in was rushed and devoid of any niceties. We wandered about until we found the elevator to our room. The room was not in a hallway, but around and about as though going to a hidden closet. The view from the room looked at other walls and airconditioning units. The lighting was inadequate. The furniture was well worn and the carpet was filthy. The bed had one thin sheet over a bare mattress which made me afraid of my skin touching the mattress by accident. There were no amenities, like water or a coffee maker. The only redeeming feature was the bathroom which was quite nice. I definitely will not go back and would not recommend this to anyone even for free.
