“Amazing time at Ceasars”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We just returned from our trip to Las Vegas and could not wait to write the review on Ceasars' Palace! It was our third time to Las Vegas but first time stay at Ceasars' Palace, and it was so worth it! We arrived late at night and had no wait at the check-in. Theresa was great at the front desk, and really made us feel welcome (to the point that I remember her name, and I dont usually do that!) They gave us an upgrade to our room without us asking, and it was great! we were put in the Palace Tower with a great view of the strip, and with a Jacuzzi tub!

Our first breakfast was at the buffet at the hotel - Bachannal - we had seen the reviews about how amazing this buffet was, and we can honestly say it is the best buffet we have EVER been to. It had everything from fresh juices, omelet station, steak and eggs, eggs benedict etc. You would not believe the size of the pieces of smoked salmon! They even had Churros!! While breakfast was a good price, the brunch on the weekend is a bit pricy.

Our other favoret restaurant in Ceasar's Palace was the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill. We just wanted to try it, and it was amazing - the best Mac and Cheese you will ever have - definitely worth trying!

As for the casino, there aren't as many slots as in other places, but the sports booking is amazing, and we didn't have to pay once for drinks at the casino. My husband actually got drink tickets every time he put in a sports bet, which was great!

As for shows, we went to Cirque du Soleil 'O' and that was definitely a show you cannot miss. For a day time show, we totally recommend the Mac King comedy and magic show at Harrah's. It was absolutely wonderful! When you check in at Ceasars Palace, they give you a book of coupons, that includes one for the Mac King show (buy one get one free) so look for that.

We really do recommend staying at Ceasars' palace, the location is right in the middle of the strip so it makes walking and seeing all the sites really easy and the choices of restaurants and things to do are endless! In the past we had stayed at hotels further up the strip and felt that renting a car was necessary, but in this trip we were able to walk everywhere!

We had such an amazing time and look forward to staying at Ceasars' palace on our fourth trip!

Our stay was great. No complaints. We arrived at 9:30 am. We knew we would have to wait for a room because of the arrival time. Joshua checked us in. He couldn't have been nicer. We checked our bags then went to look around the casino and pool. Went for lunch, while eating the hotel called and our room was ready for us, this was about noon. We stayed in the Octavious Tower which is very nice. Every person we spoke with was just wonderful. I tried to remember names but I could not. I did call guest services to let them know how wonderful we were treated and asked that she pass on the compliment. I am talking from the front desk, housekeeping, everyone. It's so nice to go on vacation and have everything go just right.

It's been a few years since my husband and I went to Vegas, so we decided to take a trip there to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time! Our Augustus tower room was spacious and clean, and the king bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed a bit of pampering in the jacuzzi tub while I watched tennis on the TV in the bathroom. We stayed out til very early in the morning and slept in late everyday we were there, not leaving the room til after noon, and the room was still clean and tidy whenever we returned. Other hotels I've stayed at won't clean a room after a certain time, so I was very pleased to return to a fresh room everyday.

We ate at Bacchanal Buffet and I have to say it is the best buffet we've ever been to! The decor is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the menu contained a wide variety with everything you can think of, and also so delicious. I particularly enjoyed the roasted meats...they had every type of meat you could think of...my particular favorite were the huge perfectly prepared ribeye steaks..YUM!

We also got a chance to have dinner at the Old Homestead steakhouse. The staff there was OUTSTANDING! Very friendly and accomodating in every way. We were going to a show and weren't going to have enough time to finish our dinner, so they wrapped it up for us, and even put together dessert for us for later. They held it there at the restaurant so we could pick it up after the show was finished. Our waiter was very friendly. He was very busy, but never tried to "rush" past us. He took the time to answer any questions we had and even to chat a bit. Although all of my dinner was good, my favorite part was the crab cake appetizer. The best I've ever had. It was delicious and a nice portion size. I want to go back there just for that!

We were lucky enough to get to see Celine Dion one night and she put on a wonderful show. Both my husband and I were very happy that we had the chance to see her because her voice was spot on and her orchestra was outstanding. I was so glad that she didn't do a whole glitzy Vegas style production. The show focused on Celine and what she's best known for...her beautiful voice.

And to top it all off, both my husband and I won a little money while we were there and actually brought it home with us! Can you believe it? It was just a wonderful trip all the way around. I'm looking forward to visiting Caesars Palace again.

Room Tip: If you stay in the Augustus tower, ask for a view of the Bellagio fountains. It's very romantic...

I booked our trip a few months in advance so we didn't pay outrageous amounts, but the extra we did pay was well worth it! Nice sofa, gorgeous bed, plenty of space, view of the pools, special entrance with separate check-in that was quiet and easy. My only complaint is that wi-fi is a little awkward to set up (and needs to be done each day). We swam in the pool (loved the Roman statues), ate at several restaurants, shopped at the Forum shops (super swanky: Versace, E. Zegna, Tiffany's, Cartier, Jimmy Choo), and saw Celine Dion. All inside Caesar's. Had a Great time. (I don't like Celine as well as my wife does, but she put on an amazing show. Well worth seeing!)

I visit Las Vegas several times a year and during football season, there's not very many places that can offer as much as Caesars SportsBook can offer. The SportsBook is huge with more TV's than other casino's have to offer. Only drawbacks would be you do need to get there early on Saturdays & Sundays for a table and the cocktail waitresses could be a little more friendly. Here's a tip: if you make a $20 bet, make sure you ask for a free drink coupon as they won't just hand them out. That's why it's only rated 3 stars but has the potential of being a 5 star sportsbook.

My husband and I went to Caesars Palace via a gift certificate that we bid on at a charity event. Let me just say we spent more on the bid than what the rooms cost in August. Anyway, we arrive at midnight after traveling half the day and we went to the front desk to check in and this is the reason I am rating this hotel 2 stars. Our room was not held for us and they had to put us in a smoking optional room in Augusta tower with 2 double beds. We told the girl at front desk this was unacceptable and her hands were tied and could do nothing until the next day. So we went to sleep in this room that we were very unhappy with the promise of being switched to the octavius tower non smoking room with king bed like I originally booked the next morning at 11:00. The room was finally ready at 3:00. We had Jose' one of the bell men which was top knotch to help us to our new room. When we walked in it smelled really bad of smoke. It was supposed to be non-smoking with king bed. Jose' called the front desk and they had another room that we went to look at right away and it was also incorrect with 2 beds. Jose' called the front desk again and they said that was all they had. Really??? There are 500 rooms in the Octavius Tower... So we decided to go back to the room that had king bed and smelled like smoke and we were gone 5 minutes and it was already booked. So now 2nd day of vacation and are standing in the hallway with our luggage. This was completely unacceptable. So we went back to the other room jose' showed us and just stayed there. It was very disappointing. The next day we were out at the pool and my husband went to get us some frozen drinks. He was gone almost a half hour. Then he came rushing back all upset an said the bartender said we were checked out and could not charge to our room. It was 100 degrees out and all we had was our room card no cash on us. The bartender stayed on hold for 20 minutes while the drinks melted in front of my husband. Then they threw the drinks away and said we would have to go to the front desk and get it resolved. I have never seen my husband so mad. We left the pool area and I went to the room and he went to seek out a manager on duty. He dealt with Justin and he was excellent. Finally someone treated us as if we were a paying customer and not with a gift certificate. He offered us the penthouse suite. My husband called the room and asked if I wanted to move again and I did not. 2 nights down and 2 to go. We declined his generous offer. So he comp us $100. which was very nice. Then $100. again the next day for our troubles. We appreciate the effort on his part.

Octavius tower room was beautiful. Lovely view of the pools. Bathroom was exceptional. Big plasma TV. They charge for coffee which is poor in my opinion. Also, on mini bar do not pick up items if you don't want them, you will be charged. We were charged for 2 items I picked up.

Bell staff and valet were excellent. We loved the private entrance off Flamingo road. Very convenient.

Restaurants all wonderful. Shops fantastic! The décor was elegant with a roman twist. Loved it. Pools were all superb, but super crowded. It was too much for us. Too many teenagers and party animals with tattoos.

The spa is an absolute MUST!!! It is by far one of the nicest spas we have ever been in. I am not sure if we will ever go back to Caesars. There are a few hotels we love that we usually go to that have tremendous customer service and the rooms are amazing but the spas aren't near as nice.

If you decide to go try to stay in the Octavius tower. Skip pool area and spend hours in the spa.

Room Tip: Stay in Octavius Tower. Its newer and so pretty and modern.

Stayed 5 nights at Caesars Palace stayed in roman tower rooms . I had been to vegas before so i know you don't stay in the room much! Well for starters it took for ever to find the room the front desk told us the wrong way which it was 3 of us checking in as a group so maybe he got a little confused! Out of all 3 rooms our's was the only room that was right, when the others went down to say we have the wrong room they said well its all preference...they had specifically selected what they wanted. The front basically said well you can pick what you want but you do not all ways get it so this is what we have and o well with what you paid for theres nothing we can do or that they did do about it ! Our room was what we picked but did not realize our view would be of nothing and we had a box TV who even still has those! When they cleaned our room they left no towel not that big of a deal but the sheets had stains ! They also nickel and dime you internet charges resort fees blah blah blah.... just include it in the price from the get go. Even people that worked there said things were not as great as they used to be ! Food was Amazing at BACCHANAL BUFFET i hate buffets i didnt want to go but loved it , Casino and shopping was good ! Thats about it ! We stayed at the ARIA last time sooooooo much nicer! I was expecting Great thing from Caesars :(

Room Tip: it doesnt matter they give you what they want you to have !
