“Cleopatra's Barge”

I visited the lounge named Cleopatra's Barge in Caesar's Palace Thursday night (1/5/06) and can't remember the last time I had such a great night out. This fantastic band, The San Fernando Band played all the old-school R&B dance music that I liked. They played until 3 am and I was still ready for more. I highly recommend checking out this band whereever they are playing. Check out their website at TheSanFernandoBand.

“Augustus Tower all the Way!!”

We only had 1 night in Caesars after staying the Bellagio, we fancied a change! We were not dissapointed, we paid an extra $80 for an Augutus Tower Room...it was superb!

This part of Caesars has only recently been built, the rooms are a fantastic size, huge bathrooms, flatscreen T.V, massive floor to ceiling windows (our overlooking the Bellagio fountains)

We enjoyed the pool area as well, it was a great time of year, warm..not too hot!

Thouroughly recommneded

“Get Your Key and Fend for Yourself”

Stayed in a Palace Tower Deluxe Room from 29/12/05 to 4/1/06.

Check in was efficient by a very helpful and friendly lady.

The room was fine, a bit sparce decent view of the North end of the Strip from 23rd floor. Big comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, desk, TV, 3 phones etc. There was no minibar, no robes/slippers, no writing paper..

Whenever I phoned for service be it room service, house keeping, laundry or concierge you enter a queuing system.. most calls are answered reasonably quickly.

The concierge service at this hotel is the worse I have ever encountered. They couldn't book a hire car for me, they couldn't organise an airport transfer for me, they couldn't get tickets to a club for me (but offered to transfer me to the club!)... very poor.

It is a very very impersonal hotel - I know many of the large resorts in Vegas are, but this was an especially baron place.

The facilities of the property are immense but as a hotel it never made the grade. I'd call it a casino or convention centre with rooms!

“Attention single ladies...you have found your shangri-la!”

I am a 38 year old single woman who's a fairly frequent vegas visitor and i have finally figured out where to stay. I have stayed at several other hotels, venetian(families) mirage(elderly) mandalay (business). Let me fill you in girlfriends, all the single guys are at caesars. i attribute this to their phenominal sports pit and the pussycat dolls nightclub and other great clubs. there is way more of a sexy vibe going on at this place, check it out. the regular rooms are nothing special, the palace tower rooms have great bathrooms with a pool sized jacuzzi tub you will want to take home with you, but the new Augustus tower is where it's really at! Caesars is not cheap so consider staying somewhere else but hanging out here. they have all the best shows too! my sister and i were there for the comedy festival and it was awesome, celebrities everywhere. the shops are o.k.... when will all these places realize they have all the same stores! enough with the designer shops allready! get some more original boutiques. We ate at Mesa grill and it was fantastic, Bradley Ogden, not so much...so ladies, go, you'll have a blast...and guys, I'll see ya there!

“Pretty good hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2006

I had stayed at CP in an executive suite from 12/28-1/3/06. Although I found the hotel very busy, it wasn't long to get food at the Augustus Cafe. I highly recommend this place for food. It reasonably priced and very tasty. The encounters I had with the staff were fine. Nothing out of the way. The only complaint I had was I had booked the suite back in August and when I checked into the airport check in, I had asked for a strip view. Well, I got nothing but walls! Do not stay in room 6530. One window was a wall and the other was a partial wall view. It made the room so dark during the day that we had to keep all the lights on. I did send an email off to Harrah's so let's see what happens. Other than that, the room was nice. Two seperate rooms with a huge jacuzzi tub that definately fits two. Never heard anyone except for the drunks on nye but that was it. Overall good experience.
