“Excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

A place to call a 2nd home. Excellent service, variety of high end restaurants and those who are on the budget. Excellent shopping and most of all the Bellagio Fountain a must have dinner over looking that. A must see the "O" show don't leave Vegas without it if you never saw it. I would see it over and over and over...

we stayed at The Bellagio for four nights and still didn't see all of it. (They give you a map of the whole resort on arrival.) We had a room overlooking the 'back end' of Vegas which was actually really nice - we saw some amazing sunsets, and the mountains make a great backdrop.

The bedroom area wasn't as large as we had been led to believe, when we booked it showed a separate living area which we didn't get - apparently (we were told this by a cabbie) they give the best rooms in the main tower to the 'gamblers' (how did they tell we weren't gamblers?) and relegate the others to the 'Spa Tower' which is along a massive hallway and mainly houses conference rooms. Still it was very nice, but it would have been good to have this knowledge beforehand (they make no distinction on the website at all, so this is a bit sneaky I think).

The actual rooms, pool area, restaurants, and shops are all top class, and one thing about the Bellagio is that unlike most other hotels on the strip, you do not have to go through the smoke-filled casino to get outside. Even on the occasions when we did walk past the gambling area, the smoke was not nearly as bad as in some of the nearby resorts.

On our first night we ate a very late dinner (2am!) in our room and the service was amazing! And not that expensive. All the dining places were excellent.

Car parking onsite is free and plentiful. It is easy to avoid the valets and look after your own bags, which also saves you quite a bit of money.

In terms of location, I would say The Bellagio is in the best spot, right in the middle of the strip, so you can easily explore the other complexes. We dined across the road at Paris Paris! one night and watched the magnificent fountain play to a new tune every 15 minutes.

Even if you are not a gambler, there is plenty to do at The Bellagio.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a room in the main tower if you don't like lots of walking. Apparently the...

Stayed at the MGM for 11 years in a row...including this trip. Switched to Bellagio for the first time. What haven't we done this before now? Excellent hotel! Our new destination in LV is Bellagio. Just my opinion, but I'd suggest it be yours too! You won't be disappointed!

Love love this hotel. It is the 'king' of the strip and has so much class. The water fountain display gives it that extra touch. Although this is a massive hotel the staff are very friendly and give a personal touch. I didn't want to leave! Definitely the best hotel on the strip.

I normally would have given a 4 star review but considering the mass of people they had everything went very smoothly and deserve the extra star for efficient work/service in a strenuous situation. My family and I visited 3 days during 4th of July. I had read all the reviews and was a bit nervous. We booked 2 rooms with Expedia one with a king and one with 2 queens at a discount rate of 250/ night (which for the bellaggio is cheap). The check in was fast- under 10 min, Alexander was super polite. The rooms were nice and spacious, the one with the king bed was facing the water fountain show the one with 2 queens was facing the back - both on the 6th floor across from each other (at check in the person handling the room assignment searches for close rooms without me having to ask). At check in Alexander explained everything to is and how it worked with credits and charges.
The casino is nice, but then again it's Vegas! Buffet credit was included in reservation. Quality of buffet, excellent. The wifi is so so but I can live with it for a couple of days. Check out took a bit longer (20 min) because the couple in front of me was contesting certain charges, again I got nervous but when it was my turn the check out was fast and correct. All charges and credits (buffet) were applied properly. As I said I would give the hotel 4 stars but because of the sheer quantity of people, they and handled every aspect properly and efficiently , the deserve an extra star.

My husband selected this hotel for our 1st trip to Las Vegas to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we were delighted! OK, if arriving on a Sunday check is rather mantic, however hotel staff were helpful and kept the queues moving. We'd booked a delux fountain view room which was lovely, modern / tastefully decorated with a fantastic view of the fountains & strip. If you struggle to sleep with any noise then I suggest you book a pool facing room if you're early to bed. Housekeeping was 100% including beds turned down with a night time chocolate! The hotel pools are lovely, very clean with towels provided. Yes busy (but people only stayed 1 - 4 hours max due to the heat - it was very very hot) however where no evidence of lounger occupation then the towels were removed later in the day. There were always loungers available but not always in the shade. The one thing I didn't like was people reserving loungers either side of theirs (i.e. so no one next to them, I thought very selfish and wish the hotel did something to deter this). We ate in the Steak House one evening and the meal was delicious with exceptional staff, I would highly recommend (would like to return)!
Don't be surprised on an evening about the high number of people visiting the hotel to look around especially the casino area's, this included small children who I didn't think were allowed!!
We looked around all the major hotels during our 4 night stay and were 100% pleased with our selection and would definately love to return!!!

Room Tip: If a non smoker ensure you request a non smoking room (i.e. specific block of floors support this) a...

Stayed at this hotel as a family member chose the Bellagio as their wedding venue...which I highly recommend as the day was perfect! Hotel is worth every penny and we would definitely stay at this hotel again. Rooms are spacious, fountain display can't be beaten and staff were very helpful. We had a look at the other hotels and the Bellagio looks like one of the best ones.
