“an Oasis in Las Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

My first trip to Las Vegas and Bellagio is the only reason I'd go back. Their Virtuoso suites are gorgeous. VIP access and vouchers, including taxi and Cafe/Buffet queue jump privileges make life easier. VIP lounge does everything for you so no lines at the Concierge desk. Service is excellent. Pools are lovely, and for indulgence, use Cypress and reserve a lounge or daybed.
If you want to stay away from drunks, partying and pick-ups by the pool, Bellagio is the place to stay. The clientele is more upscale and the hotel actually prides itself on being a luxury hotel. I'd return tomorrow. Hated to leave.Beware the Salon, though. Services are done by hair length. Cost me a fortune for a blowout.

Tips-Las Vegas tap water is awful. Buy bottled water. It's very dry and you need to drink alot of water. I mean ALOT! Also, alcohol gets to you because of the dry climate. It's effects are greatly increased. Hangovers are much worse, so watch alcohol intake.

Room Tip: Get a Suite if you can. The extras you get with it will save time and $$.

Stayed four nights at this hotel. The service from start to finish was impeccable, the room was wonderful and the view from the window awesome. The whole experience was fantastic - would highly recommend for anyone wanting a luxury experience in Vegas! Can't wait to go back!

The husband and I spent our 18th anniversary at the Bellagio 9/27-9/30. There are no words I can put together to describe this property. Beautiful, luxurious, opulent are what simply comes to mind. Being that the fountains are a major attraction, expect tons of people to be around ALL the time. It is situated in a perfect location in the heart of the Strip. We decided on a rental car simply because we wanted to go come and go as we please. The valet, limo and taxi line was unbearable to watch. The biggest gripe (to me) was having to walk through the casino to get to the rooms. That wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't cigarette smoke. I know people smoke so I understood, but it was THE longest walk past all of this. Also while checking in, be very mindful of the $130 a day that will be added to your bill for charging privileges. This was not explained when checking in but was only made aware of the $25 a day "resort fee". I only found out what was charged to my card when heading away from my counter, my bank text messaged me about the large transaction (I love my bank). I approached a member of the staff and advised it would have been nice to have this explained during the check in process. I work in customer service and you can never assume everyone is aware of every rule of your business. The supervisor did remove the resort fee as a result. Just know, the extra amount of money being held for charging priviliges is optional but I suggest speaking up about it at check in because I'm sure they won't mention it to you. Other than that hiccup, we were very happy with the room. Very stylish and that shower.....wow! Stay away from the mini-bar unless you don't mind paying $10 for a bottle of Fiji water although it was tempting. The robes are a nice touch but I wish the lighting could have been a little better. The view was great, the rooms are quiet and I would most definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Room is the main tower do not face the fountains

We stayed the Bellagio to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The hotel manager sent us a hand written note and a box of chocolates for our for anniversary. Stayed on the 28th floor facing the fountains. Lovely view. You could turn in the TV channel to play the music to match the fountain show. Very clever. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated. Highly recommend this hotel. The location perfect in the middle of the action.

Room Tip: We loved the fountain facing room, but if you are a light sleeper and go to bed before 12mid, the bo...

We stayed at the Bellagio last month and had a marvelous time. The fall display was brilliant. This place always has a fresh smell and I love the buffet. This is not the normal buffet, it has everything prepared fresh and inviting. If I had one complaint I would say that we possibly got one of the rooms that had not yet been updated because the furniture was a little worn and the bed was not up to my last trip in comfort, little lumpy! This is one of our favorite places to stay so I still give it a 5. The location is perfect.

Room Tip: Ask for a remodeled room and one with a view of the fountains. We got the view of the pool which wa...

Loved it - beautiful hotel and property; wonderful spa and salon; great dining; fantastic fountain display; and a great location. Also took two tours from the hotel to the Hoover Dam and Valley of Fire -- fabulous days on those tours.
