“Christmas in LV”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

My son and I have been coming to Bellagio for Christmas for several years now. The friendly staff and atmosphere are the best.. I'm vegetarian so that has always been a concern, I am pleased to say the in room menu provided several meal choices.

This was one property i was looking forward to staying during my trip to Vegas. This was almost a synonym to Vegas for me while i was growing up. I cant tell you how disappointed i was.

We were staying at Wynn before this and had a great time there. I had called a day earlier to request them to have our double room ready for our arrival the following day. "Its on our system and we will do our best" is what I was told.

The following day we arrived at 4 pm which was past the check in time and the room was not ready. They offered us a Twin room which we denied. Besides the check in clerk was outright rude and told us we would have to wait. How long? Maybe 2 hours, Maybe 4. We came back after 4 hours and had to wait for another 30 minutes.

The room was very disappointing. Looked old and in need of uplifting. Much smaller than the room at Wynn. Since we were tired after a long day without a room, we decided to order dinner to our room. Probably the most pathetic food i have ever attempted to eat. And we ordered very basic stuff like pizza and pasta. Took this up with the hotel. They were not even apologetic about it and did nothing.

Thankfully we were there for just 2 nights and this was one palace i was happy checking out. The only good thing about this hotel is its location.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else, maybe Wynn or Encore if you have the budget

It is upsetting to learn about your disappointment during your recent stay with us and I sincerely apologize. It's disconcerting to hear that our agent was not as friendly as we would expect during your arrival. This behavior will certainly be addressed. We try very hard to accommodate all of our guest requests and apologize for the delay in receiving the room type you requested. I see you stayed in October. We have since recently finished remodeling all of our rooms and it is my hope you will have the opportunity to enjoy our finished product in the near future. Additionally, I apologize that you were not completely satisfied with our in-room dining and that this was not handled in a more apologetic manner. We will share your comments to ensure you are served better during a future visit.

If you're a traditionalist.... you probably don't think of Vegas in December..
While we were here for a family event, we didn't expect to feel the Christmas spirit in a locale such as Vegas...
On the contrary, Bellagio had the most fantastic Christmas display in the atrium garden area.. It was absolutely beautiful...
The fountain show was also perfectly choreographed to wonderful Christmas music...
What a terrific surprise!!!!!
Leave it to Bellagio to cover all of the bases so very well...

We have bell staff at the entrances of our hotel available for assistance 24 hours a day and I am sorry this service was not extended to you after check in. Also, I regret to hear that we were unable to accommodate your room request. We try very hard to accommodate all guest requests and we will be sure to share your review with the respective department heads in an effort to serve you better during a future trip to Bellagio.

The Bellagio has a name reputation of being an excellent hotel-casino, and it achieves the high standard of its brand. If you want to pay a little more for excellent service, you will not be disappointed with the Bellagio. Bring your significant other, have a relaxing time, see O, visit a restaurant or two, and I promise you will leave satisfied and wanting more.

Went for my 50th birthday with my friend. Everywhere we went, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders in the Petrossian Bar by the lobby were exceptional. They made specialty drinks to perfection. The food at Noodles and Cafe Bellageo was very good. I wish there was a Noodles restaurant in my home town.

We have stayed at Bellagio 3 times over the past year and every time it has been a wonderful experience. The staff is very helpful and the amenities are first class. I have to say, the buffet has to be one of the best in the Las Vegas area (breakfast and dinner) and the price is well worth it!
