OK first of all this hotel is not on the strip, and is not really within walking distance to the strip. That said, it is an excellent place to stay if you want a quieter place without staying in the boondocks (it is across the street from the Hard Rock Casino and Cafe and close enough to the airport or the strip for a short cab ride. The property has very nicely landscaped grounds with several pools, a nice place to sip a drink and stroll.
The rooms are spacious, ours had a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub with a separate sitting area. All very neat, clean and orderly. The help staff were great, very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this as a good alternative to the large impersonal hotels of the strip.

We held a corporate meeting for 160 and couldn't have been happier. The resort is quiet and away from the noise and chaos of the strip. The meeting rooms are excellent and the food was superb. There was a very low food and beverage minimum. The banquets staff couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating. There is a complimentary breakfast for guests that was included in the room rate. This avoided having a set breakfast for the group.

The front desk was awesome in handling copies and printing for us as well....and they didn't charge us!

The on-site A/V company is a little pricey but you are not required to use them, it is just preferred. The high speed internet price is much too high, and due to some marketing issue with the internet carrier, reportedly cannot be waived or modified.

Overall, the sleeping rooms are fine....they have updated them and the cleaning service was excellent. Every room is inspected by housekeeping before it is released to a guest. Room service was excellent and fast as we used this numerous times in the days leading up to our event as we prepared for our event.

My wife and I stayed at Alexis Park as part of a conferance the weekend of August 28th, 2009.

The rates we got on the rooms were great... $55/night for a weekend. They allowed us to check in early, and get settled, since our first gathering was scheduled for 7 PM. My wife and I used the time to use one of the 3 pools on the property. Unfortunately, that's the only good thing I can say about the property.

The whole property is in serious need of TLC. The bathroom in the room is cramped, and had numerous chipped tiles in the shower area. The molding around the tub was done half assed, and it showed. There was paint peeling EVERYWHERE (both in rooms and common areas) and there were numerous missing tiles in common areas. The wife of one of the attendees saw 3 bugs in their room.. she said she didn't sleep that night.

On Saturday, our room still hadn't been cleaned at 1 PM. We had to track down the maid to ask her to clean the room. Our 7 AM wake call we asked for on Saturday? It came at 6 AM... totally unacceptable!!!

The conferance included 4 meals.... all 3 on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. We paid $17 person for breakfast Saturday.....and it consisted of 3 pancakes and 2 sausage links!! So, the great rate on the rooms was totally erased by the high catering costs.

One of the attendee's said the excercise room looked NOTHING like the online pictures on the hotel website.

I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone!!!

I have stayed at alexis park twice first in the monarch room, which was perfect for me and my husband. it was for new years so our rate was $390 for the weekend. we had a small group of six for drinks before heading to the strip. Our guest loved our room and so did we. The second time we went for a wedding and slept in the crown with our two children. This room is perfect for families or small groups. Privacy and space is why I enjoy this hotel. Also the landscaping is nice and the rooms are exceptional. I have never had problems with staff. Infact for new years the concierge gave us a bunch of vip tickets to different venues. I am planning a trip for a january wedding, which will be hosted at alexis through wedding bells chapel and will be staying again in the crown room.
