“good for business traveler who needs quiet place cheap”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

Hi
For someone who does not want to spend much time in the hotel, just a good bed and clean sheets and towels it is very good.

I stayed many times in this place, its quiet in general, unless they have a wedding, the place is old looks like at least 20-30 years, but they keep on renovating, the grounds are very nice taken care off,
the staff is very accommodating on special needs, groups or religious gatherings

My wife and I stayed here for an event with a group of people. I was dubious, but the price was right, $79 a night.

Our room was a king suite. It had a living room and bedroom separated by a door. There was a kitchen area with a refrigerator and microwave. Everything looked recently renovated. The bed was comfortable. The AC worked well. Parking is convenient to your building.

Security was visible in yellow shirts and on bicycles. There were three pools. The workout room was better than many I have used. The coffee shop was basic. There is a bar.

To be sure this is not a luxury hotel. We did not pay for opulence.

There is no casino. The Hard Rock is across the street.

These appear to be converted apts. Outside hallways were dark on the first floor. The units look about 20-30 yrs old esp the bathroom. So unimpressed that I didn't take one picture. Seemed to be a "party place". Had to get management to quite down party noise by our room at 1 am. Won't stay here again.

This is a great little hotel a few blocks off the strip and right across the street from the Hard Rock Hotel/Casino.

It was a really reasonable rate and was a quiet nice stay. It appears that the rooms range from really nice to nice, depending on the kind you book and when it was remodeled. I think this must have been an apartment complex at one point. It had that feel. It is older and has been updated. The rooms are large and suite like. Though it is an older property, which means there is some where and tear, they keep it up well.

The pools are really nice, though cold if you are there in the evening or on a less warm day. The staff is friendly and the lobby very nice.

We asked for a quiet room and good one on the canal side. The view and canal was not very nice, but it was quiet. I think the rooms on the other side of the hotel would be a bit better. The housekeeping was unobtrusive and did a good job. I do think the carpets could use a bath, but otherwise all was good. Very comfortable seating area. Two TVs, one in seating kitchen area and one in the bedroom. We didn't have a microwave and didn't need one, but the woman who checked us in said that we could just call and they would bring us one, so that was nice. The fridge was large and the bar area stored a lot.

When we asked for extra towels we were given them in just a few minutes. Extra bedding was in the closet and there were several size pillows to choose from.

Overall a great experience in a very expensive town.

I was a participant in a Road Scholar tour of Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon National Parks. This hotel was where we met for our first night. I am not a devotee of Las Vegas so I went for a swim instead of going to the "Strip".
We arrived about 2 pm and the waitress said that the cafe was closing but she kept it open so we could have lunch. That was very nice of her since it was Mother's Day and I am sure she would have preferred to go home to her family.

I travel to vegas once a month for work and fun. I always stay here! Despite being near the airport it is still quite in your room. Its easy to park and get in and out of your room, never long wait for cabs either. The staff is amazing!! A few of them know me by name and where im from, some even remembered my dog! i love this hotel!

I've stayed here three times now-twice for a week while working, and once with extended family. It reallly is an oasis of calm close and convenient to the 'action.' Three swimming pools are the main event for me. Rooms are decent, nothing to write home about- services for amentiies are prompt and courteous. Grounds are immaculately landscaped. When you check out, watch out... our bill was $20 more than we were quoted. Didn't notice till we got home. It took three phone calls and calm insistence to uncover a "mistake" in their computer system- never really adequatey explained.

Room Tip: rooms are strictly first come first serve. Several different floor plans for suites... some with wa...
