“Food price but noisy.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

The hotel room was nice but the sinks taps were far apart and the faucet was so close to the rim of the sink you couldn't get your hand or cup under the tap. Our room was 512 and we faced the four queens hotel and thenoise from Fremont street was Loud and went on until early morning The noise from the building of the new elevator was irritating during the day. I would not stay there again.

Let's just say you get what you pay for! The person who checked us in was very rude and they keep it dark in there so you won't notice how dirty it is. The music inside the casino is always blaring as loud as they can get it. If you stay on the wrong side of the hotel you can't sleep for the pounding noise that is coming from one of the stages that is right outside the hotel. It is not a place for a little bit older crowd but I'm sure the younger kids love it. The only good thing I will say is it not a far walk to get to the next casino like the strip.

Me and my sister took a trip to Vegas. We normally stay on the strip.... We also own a timeshare so rarely do we stay anywhere else. Check in was short and simple the room was only $20 plus I believe $22 resort fee.the room was nice and clean it smelled fresh I was surprised because everything down there is pretty old but they do a good job with maintenance... they did have a pool which we didn't use...The nightlife was very live bands, cheap food, and 10 an ride to the strip. We normally rent a car..... If you're looking for something clean and cheap for couple nights The D is it...... And trust me I can't stay anywhere it definitely has to be up to my standards...This hotel was okay and I would stay again for the right price.

Room Tip: Ask for a remodeled room

We travelled to Vegas and stayed on the strip ,glitz and glamor.deceided to look for the old Vegas com operated experience!went to the D on freemont street !it did not disappoint upstairs the old coin operated slots provided the excitement of hearing the clan of coins when you hit a jack pot.
While the decor is a bit dated it only adds to the ambiance and back in time feel !go there for a truly unique experience.

Even though we booked our stay for the end of March at the beginning of February, when we arrived we were told the hotel was sold out and a non smoking king was not available and got put in a smoking queen. We were told we would have to switch rooms the next morning and would get a $15 comp for our 'incovenience'. When we went to switch rooms we were told all that was available was non smoking queen and the supervisor said he would call us if a king became available. We never heard from anyone. He also told us he would waive our resort fees. He waived one night. We are not picky travelers and understand bed choice is just a request. But at least give us a non smoking if that's what we booked two months prior. The couple that checked in next to us didn't seem to have any issues. The beds are uncomfortable. The elevator system is ridiculous and slow. The only good thing about this place is the D Grill. Food is good and the wait staff is awesome!

They have made many improvements. Was surprised at how quickly we were checked in. Plus the new beds are great. They have made changes to the elevators and are installing more. The rooms have been remodeled. Our room was facing Fremont and was noisy. The value was great because of our casino play. Would have given them four stars, if they would just turn done the music at least during the day. They are trying to be a trendy hotel.

Room Tip: Get a room away from Fremont Street. Pay the money for an upgrade to a corner room.

The bartenders were magicians behind the bar! Juggling bottles, pouring 10 shots at once, and other entertaining and spectacular tricks! Sooo cool! They were also really nice guys and when it was slower they were talking to customers and making sure everyone was having a good time.
