Reasonable food choices, nice selection of casino games, nicely decorated rooms. Great value for the price. Convenient transportation to step. Pool small but nice. Movie theater and bowling alley nice optional entertainment.

I'd heard that you can get really low hotel rooms, but held my breath when I decided to put it to the test.

Honest to God, $36 all totaled, double occupancy, for a handsomely appointed room!

Being in a separate building from the casino, it was quiet and clean. Our rooms were fresh and clean, with 2 queen beds and 5 fire alarms (who knows?). The bathroom had upscale finishes with a lovely granite counter top. Just off the strip, it's not far too from anything.

Such a deal!

Everything about this place was just what I needed for a not so costly get away. The pool everything food was great. The service and the people friendly and enjoying their job. Don't let the town full you Henderson, NV is also in close proximity to Hoover Dam The most amazing new wonder of our decade.

Room Tip: we didn't pick the room but the view was amazing

We flew to Vegas not to gamble, but to rent a car and visit the Utah national parks. We booked a room at Sam's because of the price and the good ratings on Trip Advisor. Sam's is an easy drive from the airport and about a 10 minute drive to the Strip. Parking was free and plentiful. It was nice to avoid the traffic hassles of the Strip. The hotel is well maintained, but the decor is a bit dark and drab. However, the room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Check in /check out was easy and the staff was helpful with directions. An excellent breakfast buffet was included in the price of the room ($38). Can't beat it! I'll definitely go back next time I travel to Vegas.

The staff of Sam's Town are friendly and professional and we always enjoy staying there. They have everything from bowling to movie theaters and a free shuttle to downtown. Billy Bob's steakhouse is our favorite restaurant with the bet surf and turf dinner in town!!!

Room Tip: The bldg is quad shaped with elevators on the east and west wings

My wife and I love to stay at Sam's Town. We have stayed there many times over the past 4 years. The employees are very friendly and really make the atmosphere enjoyable. We love Mystic Falls which is an oasis of peace when you just want to relax. They really have a wide variety of gaming machines which suits my wife and I perfectly. The gaming tables are enjoyable with the great staff they have. It's definitely off the Strip but we like the local feel.

We have visited Sams many times over the past 18 years and have always enjoyed the stay. They keep it clean, the employees are very friendly and they are very fair on their comps. But the casino is showing its age and needs some new machines. A lot of the rooms have undergone remodeling in the last 2 years and the suites are comparable to the 3 star hotels on the strip.
Expect better pay schedules and a very casual (and older) clientele.
Both the steak house and mexican restaurant are very good, but TGI Fridays is known for its slow service.

Room Tip: First time visitors go for an inside room. The laser light show is great to watch.
