“Beautiful Hotel - Amazing Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 1, 2007

We spent an amazing weekend at the Four Season in April as part of a group event. Our king room on the 38th floor had a spectacular view of the strip. The room was not huge (like The Hotel) but was plently big for the two of us. Great bed and 42 inch plasma.

Great service from all the staff. The brunch buffet at the Verandah is not to be missed.

Expensive but worth it. We'd love to return soon.

I concur with previous reviews. this is a classy hotel and very quiet from the hubub of las vegas. Service is impeccable. Concierge did a great job with reservations for dinners and shows. I had one unusual occurence: When i checked out my mother left her eye glasses at the counter. The hotel security desk promptly called my home to alert me. I was surprised that they wanted my credit card number to send them to me. I just paid a 3200 dollar bill--it would not have killed their profit margin to send it regular mail for free.

Over all i like this place. The pool is quiet and the location is good.

The Four Seasons in las vegas is a calm oasis in an otherwise crazy city. It was a wonderful place to come back to--very beatiful, perfect service, great pool area, nice restaurants, lovely flower arrangements--a top notch hotel. The room are beautiful--our room was not ready when we arrived and we were upgraded to a huge one bedroom suite with a stunning view of the strip. Room service was timely and attentive. The best part--the pool attendants who lavish attention on the guest--bringing ice water with lemon, spritzing with cool water, cleaning sunglasses, passing around popsicles and cold orange slices--what a wonderful spot for a short vacation!!

The Four Seasons Las Vegas offers a wonderful, comfortable stay for those that need a bit of calm and relaxation. Located atop the Mandalay Bay, the hotel has a separate entrance, Lobby, restaurants and facilities. You will be whisked away into a tranquil, luxurious world- the perfect foil to the otherwise hectic pace of Vegas. Gamblers should note that this property does not have a casino, but you can easily access the sprawling gaming floor of Mandalay Bay.
Rooms are pretty much what you would expect from the Four Seasons. While not as large as some of the mini-suite accommodations offered elsewhere in Vegas, you will have all the usual comforts like mini-bar, marble bathrooms with robes, and exquisite L'Occitane toiletries. Decor is rather dated, a la early 90's luxury with a tropical twist, but that should not deter you. Try and splurge on a Strip View Room, or politely ask for an upgrade upon check-in (there may well be an extra charge, but it is worth it!).
The hotel boasts its' own lovely pool area, much quieter than those found at the mega-resorts. Adjacent to the pool is a small but well-equipped exercise room (free of charge unlike most hotels of this caliber), as well as a soothing Spa. Treatments are fine though a bit expensive.
Staff here are eager to please- we were constantly being offered complimentary use of the comfortable chauffered sedan (please tip the driver generously ). When we had a noise-related problem (see below) in our original room, we were moved to an enormous, beautifully appointed One Bedroom Suite complete with a jaw-dropping view all the way up the Strip. We had a full bath plus a large powder room near the front door, a wonderful living room area with adjacent office nook, and a large bedroom with many closets and that awesome view right from the king-size bed. We were also offered complimentary treats which arrived periodically out of the blue.....the chocolate-covered almonds were heavenly.
We loved the fact that this hotel is one of the only that welcomes dogs and met several pampered pooches in the elevators. Some pets even have their own engraved dishes awaiting them upon arrival (those which are lucky enough to stay here regularly). On site are a cafe, a fine Steak House, and a seasonal poolside cafe as well as a lounge. Guests have signing privileges at a myriad of other eateries throughout the vast Mandaly Bay / THE Hotel complex....you can also try one of the other Spas.
The only problem we encountered was that when we arrived back in our original room on the first night (Monday), we discovered that above us was an all-night party complete with live dj's playing directly above us. The problem stems from the fact that above the Four Seasons are the High-Roller Suites of Mandalay Bay, and also a popular nightclub operated by House of Blues. On Mondays the entire floor becomes a wild party open to the public. By all means, if staying over a Monday, do NOT stay on the top floor of the Four Seasons (Floor 39 if memory serves). I should mention that the problem was rectified beyond our wildest dreams (see above), and that the Front Desk staff assured us they had never had similar complaints.
Staying here was an absolute joy in every other respect, and we cannot say enough good things about this fine property and its' incredible staff. We also enjoyed being connected through a discreet secured door to the fun chaos of the Mandalay Bay, yet having a wonderful oasis of calm and tranquility to go to when we had had enough noise and action.
I should also mention that the other usual touches one would expect from a Four Seasons stay are also here.....fine food, great service and masses of fresh flowers.
There is talk of the Four Seasons eventually opening a new Resort adjacent to one of the other Strip resorts. Perhaps this particular property could use a bit of freshening-up here and there, but all in all this was one of our best hotel stays ever and is highly recommended, especially if you are fortunate enough to afford a stay in one of the palatial suites. Splurge if you can, you will not be disappointed!

Las Vegas has made every attempt to lure travelers to their ever so vibrant resorts and casinos. You will find a variety of tastes among hotels, but no hotel delivers a more dignified experience than the Four Seasons Las Vegas.

Unique to this hotel, is its prime location, with few inconveniences often associated with most Las Vegas Hotels and Resorts. The Four Seasons Las Vegas is housed within the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casio, occupying floors 35-39 of this mega resort.

The Four Seasons however acts as its own property, with a separate hotel entrance, restaurant facilities, pool area, spa etc. If you never left the hotel itself, you might be hard pressed to realize you were actually in Las Vegas.

All Four Seasons guests have access to the Mandalay Bay Resort through several different private access doors. These access areas offer Four Seasons guest the ability to quickly walk to casino areas, shopping and other popular areas of Mandalay Bay. What's nice however is that you never have to see a casino, if you choose not to, when staying at the FS Las Vegas.

The level of service was beyond impeccable, in every regard. Our every need was anticipated, met, and exceeded at all times throughout our stay.

We had two connecting rooms, in the Deluxe Category, which offered views of the "Strip" I would however recommend choosing a mountain view, as there are less lights, and a nice view of the pool area. Rooms were classic Four Seasons in style, with extremely comfortable beds and luxurious furnishings. Since this hotel was originally opened, the rooms have been updated to reflect a more contemporary motif.
The bathrooms were stocked with an abundance of amenities, along with a seamless glass shower and separate soaking tub.

The Verandah restaurant was superb on every occasion. I would highly recommend the breakfast and lunch service.

The pool and spa were fantastic, again offering a more private Las Vegas pool experience. You don't get the sense of overcrowding, and the level of service is in line with the rest of the hotel. The fitness center is also first class, featuring a variety of advanced machines.

If your travel plans call for business or leisure, and you desire a peaceful stay, you will be delighted with the Four Seasons Las Vegas. Expect service and quality that rivals that of the competition. You won't find a better hotel in Las Vegas.

We spent 5 days at this hotel with 100 of our guests for our wedding and everything was perfect. A great hotel in Vegas, where there is no smoking inside, (which is rare in Vegas) and no casino. The casino is upstairs at Mandalay Bay.... So still very nearby. The food was amazing, Pool was great with access to Mandalay's pools if you choose. Great Work out area too. The Concierge also organized for us to get on guest lists at many of the nightclubs in Vegas, which was a plus.

Definetly recomend this hotel if you want to avoid all the lines up in Vegas at the, Taxis, buffets, etc....

I just got married on March 17, 2007 at the Four Season Las Vegas and it was an amazing experience. I have never encountered better service at any hotel I have stayed at prior to this. Lauren Gross our catering manager ensured that everything from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the dinner and the beautiful wedding cake was perfect. All of the vendors recommended by the Four Seasons for the flowers, photography and music were excellent as well. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite and came back after the wedding to chocolate dipped strawberries, champagne and flower petals in the shape of a heart on our bed. When my sister who was also a bridesmaid was stranded in NYC due to bad weather and Jetblue cancelling her flight (and all others), it was Summer the concierge who saved the day and found a flight for her that got her to the hotel with 3 hours to spare before the ceremony.

I cannot thank Lauren, Summer, everyone in catering and all of the staff that made our wedding and our stay a completely unforgettable experience. My husband and I look forward to returning for our anniversary, if not sooner.
