“Amazing! Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2008

I love this hotel!

We planned a trip to Vegas with 20 of our closest friends for my husbands 40th birthday. I had wanted to stay at the Mandalay complex since they had the largest pool/water park in town. I noticed that FS had a deal for buy two nights- get the third night free and we all booked! It was fantastic. It is the top 4 floors of Mandalay but, it has its own private entrance which allows you to avoid all the chaos at the entrance of Mandalays casino. It is also smoke free. They checked us in in minutes, the room and bathroom were large. The bed was very comfortable and the service was great! (The only complaint I had was that the toilet sounded like a jet engine when you flushed it.)

We spent a lot of time at the pool. We rented a cabana at Mandalay one day which was great, but if you are just out on their beach the service is terrible. (At Mandalay beach I asked for a glass of water along with an order of several cocktails and was told they don't do water service. They give you one worn out old rag of a towel and refuse to give you a second) In contrast, the FS's private pool was fantastic. The service was great! They take you out to a lounge chair and cover it large fluffy towels. Our beer bucket was never empty, they bring you pitchers of ice water, frozen towels for your neck, they clean your glasses, they even brought around complimentary ice pops!

I will definately go back and plan to check out some of their other locations. Excellent property and service.

When your head is spinning from the lights and bells in the Casinos, this is an elegant and beautiful refuge. Our standard room was very spacious, and immaculately clean, with a large plasma TV, superbly comfortable bed, and large floor to ceiling windows overlooking TheHotel. The hotel was quiet. The pool area was beautiful, and you can dine in the open-air restaurant that overlooks the pool. We did not eat dinner at the Four Seasons, opting to instead try restaurants at the Bellagio, the Wynn, and Mandalay Bay. But the breakfast and lunches we had at the Four Seasons were excellent.

After enjoying this oasis in a city of Glitz, you have the option of returning to the lights, bells, and action.

After staying at the Bellagio and Wynn which I both liked, i decided to give Four Seasons a try and have option of quiet time with action nearby. What I discovered is the only place I will stay in Vegas again. The moment you turn the corner from Mandalay Bay foyer it goes quiet, with a faint floral scent that is relaxing. The service everywhere was amazing. The service was professional, but also relaxed and never stuffy. Everyone was always smiling and behaved like they were there for more than collecting a paycheck. The room is very comfortable. The separate pool is a huge bonus as it is quiet and you can relax. You have access to Mandalay Pool, and after five minutes to check it out I I could not get back to the Four Seasons Pool. When you are ready to party it is a short walk away, then you can go back to piece and quiet to recover. The General Manager is doing a great job running a great hotel. Thanks for an amazing stay.

we went for our one year anniversary. they upgraded our room from a four seasons room to a one bedroom suite. the room was exremely spacious, we didnt know what to do with all the space. the bed was so comfy. my only complaint was the shower and tub were a little small. service was amazing as usual. brought us champagne and a cake to help us celebrate. the pool was nice but small. the gym was excellent as usual. it was so quiet an serene but convenient at the same time. the view from our room was amazing. the food at the verrandah was good. we ate there for breakfast and lunch. the breakfast menu was better.

This is our third stay at this property and we would not go to Vegas unless we were able to stay at the Four Seasons. As soon as you walk through the front door, you forget that you are in Vegas. The entire staff is super accomodating and extremely well trained. There are no lines to contend with for check in, taxi service, etc. like at the other hotels on the strip.

The spa facilities are spotless, the staff is professional and the treatments were sublime. I had the raindrop masage and a facial. I left the spa feeling like I had been on vacation for a month. It was my friend's birthday and she left with a "birthday" bag of samples and full size products from the spa staff.

All dinner and show arrangements were handled prior to our arrival by the concierge. The tickets they got us for Beatles Love were first row center. The seats (and show) were fantastic.

The one glitch was the Sunday breakfast buffet. Similar to an experience we had three years ago, the hot items on the buffet were room temperature. Our friend however, gave his plate to one of the waiters who promptly brought it back to the microwave and heated it for him. The food is first rate when it is hot!

The pool area is slightly crowded, but you can always find a chair. The staff is always around offering to clean your sunglasses, spritz you with Evian, bring drinks/lunch and offer free creamsicles which are nice when it is 107 degrees! There are also misters around the entire pool area to help keep you cool. One negative is that you can hear the booming music from the Mandalay Bay pools, but that cannot be avoided since they are situated so closely.

This was another great experience with the Four Seasons which never fails to disappoint.

  • Liked — The tranquility of the hotel
  • Disliked — Breakfast buffet was cold

Our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas commenced on July 1 through July 8, 2008, and encompassed the July 4th holiday weekend. As with our past Utopian stays here, our latest visit was no exception, and as such, is the reason we choose to stay here year after year. The criteria I cite as providing an A+ hotel experience are as follows: the quality, ambience and cleanliness of the property, the accommodating and friendly, personable staff, as well as the not-to-be underestimated excellent location, ease of access and proximity to the greater Las Vegas area and airport. As a forty-something, male, experienced traveler, I offer you my perspectives:

This hotel is unequivocally the freshest, finest smelling hotel in Las Vegas, with the earthtone marble entry foyer and corridors immaculately buffed and polished, and the carpeted upper floor corridors in new and superior condition. I would best describe the decor and furnishings within the hotel as refined and traditional with contemporary and Far East accents, replete with fresh floral arrangements and greenery, which only serves to compliment the airy, tranquil, spacious and quiet ambience one encounters upon entering the hotel, which in my opinion, is perhaps it's most sought after attribute. It is a very dignified atmosphere, and due to it's well crafted sophistication and eclectic appointments, it is very comfortable, yet not "over the top." And even in light of the fact that the hotel was full over the July 4th holiday weekend, it never once felt crowded.

Our check-in was smooth and efficient and within minutes we were on our way to one of the (3) express elevators to the 35th-39th Four Seasons floors. Our room was a Deluxe category (560 sq. ft.), amply spacious with earthen-tones decor, 39th floor, North Wing location with a sunset view west overlooking the Spring Mountains/Red Rock/Mt. Charleston panorama. Our flight was a late arrival and therefore turndown service had already been performed upon our room, complete with a rolled praline and dark chocolate ganache welcome presentation. Turndown service at this hotel consists of dimming the lights, drawing the draperies, placement of white linen bedside mats and white terrycloth slippers, fresh bedside bottles of water with inverted glass, tuning the large flatscreen plasma TV to the Four Seasons channel which shows Zen-like ambient naturescapes accompanied by ambient, contemporary jazz and classical music, as well as fresh towel, white terrycloth robe and amenity replenishment. Twice per day housekeeping is definitely a fine point of this hotel. The large marble bathroom with soaking tub (her favorite) and glass enclosed marble shower (my favorite) is more than ample and spacious, with a separate enclosed commode. The bathroom was amply stocked with citrus-accented L'Occitane amenities, hair dryer, bath towels and the signature Four Seasons white terrycloth robe and slippers. The room itself is also stocked with a refrigerated mini-bar, a Cuisinart coffee maker and an iron & ironing board. I must also note that this room, furniture included, was immaculately clean, fresh and not worn, and every attention to detail was taken by our housekeeper, from the folded points on the toilet tissue and tissue box, to the tightly and smoothly made bed, pillows and down duvet. As well, as robes, towels, and bedding are white here, they were just that....immaculately clean, white and fresh smelling.

Upon entering the pool area, the sweet aroma of eucalyptus greets one at the door. The pool area itself, replete with a pool bar, top screened pergolas, palm trees and an ample supply of misters, affords one the option of privacy or publicity, sun or shade, depending on where one chooses to locate. I personally prefer the pool's laid back atmosphere (although not to be read boring, just more relaxed) to that of the more "manic" pool areas of corresponding resort hotels. I found the pool staff providing set-ups and service to be very polite, friendly and accommodating, yet never intrusive. A very enjoyable and pleasant pool experience.

As well, I find the adjoining Mandalay Bay casino (conveniently just steps away through "the tranquility door") and restaurants (a plethura of eclectic epicurian alternatives to the higher end Charlie Palmer's Steak House and The Verandah at the Four Seasons, albeit not entirely inexpensive) a definite asset to this hotel as well (although being a vegetarian, it does pose certain dining challenges, though not insurmountable). The casino itself is tastefully adorned in off-white and gold appointments and is not claustrophobic, is comfortably yet not overly lighted, seems to have clearer air than most, as well as possessing a worthy array of entertainment choices and venues. And in my opinion, this casino provides the perfect venue to "see and be seen", after all, nothing trumps Saturday night in Las Vegas.....you will feel distinguished here.

The staff at the Four Seasons Las Vegas were extremely conscientious, accommodating and polite, and of particular note, very friendly and personable. From the very capable and efficient reservations agents, front desk staff, housekeeping and door/bellmen, one need not fear class intimidation here, as the professionalism and genuineness of the staff make this hotel a very welcoming atmosphere. This is not a boutique hotel, nor is it one of the more inexpensive hotels in Las Vegas, but as a hotel with only 424 rooms, it offers unsurpassed personalized service and quality. My only caveat here is that while other luxury hotels may offer more "real estate" for the price regarding room value, when viewed objectively and compositely, location, ease of access, quality, service, (and what I perceive to be) a comfortable staff to guest ratio and a smaller, more manageable property serve make this hotel a premium cost/benefit value.

And finally, location....This hotel is superiorly located at the South end of the Strip (interpreted as construction zone and tower crane free) atop the Mandalay Bay Hotel, offers valet or self-park options, and offers extremely unencumbered ease of access via Frank Sinatra Drive and Las Vegas Blvd. to Interstate 15 (points north and south) and Interstate 215 (points east: Green Valley, Lake Las Vegas and Lake Mead, and west: Summerlin and Red Rock Canyon), all within 30 minutes travel time, as well as being 10 minutes from the airport. Regarding the aforementioned locations: so many restaurants, so little time....

That being said, staying at the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is definitively worth the price of admission....and watching the sun set over Mt. Charleston....priceless....peace....

Just got back from a Vegas 4th of July holiday /anniversary celebration weekend. Stayed 4 nights at the Four Seasons. This was our 1st trip to Vegas, and what a fantastic trip. After reading numerous reviews about the Bellagio, Wynn, Venetian, Ceasars Palace, Mandalay Bay, and the Four Seasons...we decided to take a gamble before gambling in Vegas, and chose to stay at the Four Seasons. It was fantastic!!!! Great excitement, fun, and plenty of action, and just enough quite R & R to balance out our 4 night stay. Having access to the Mandalay casino, pools, restaurants, etc was non-eventful because everything is literally right there together and really all located within Mandalay Bay. The room was beyond awesome, and definitely offered the peace and quiet we were looking for, whenever we choose to retreat back to the room. We have already decided that our next trip to Vegas, will be complete by returning to the Four Seasons!!!
