“A Diamond In The Rough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2010

We actually ate at the location at 1800 Las Vegas Blvd., but Trip Advisor didn't list this location.. The two reasons we eat are nourishment and flavor. Tacos Mexico satisfies both. The atmosphere here is unpretentious, in fact, Spartan. Once you get past that, you’ll find great tasting food and very reasonable prices. Though a little wet & sloppy, the chili relleno dinner at $7.99 comes with beans, rice, and a half dozen hot corn tortillas. The poblano chili is stuffed with white Mexican cheese and is delicious. My wife ordered the carne asada burrito for $4.99. Although told it contained carne asada, beans, rice, and cilantro, there were hardly any beans, just a lot of meat and a fair amount of rice. Both the relleno and the burrito are as authentic as anything I’ve had south of the border. A second location exists at 3820 W. Sahara Ave, but we haven’t tried it.
