“Big is beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

They say this is one of the big top three in Vegas and I can see why. A great location, beautiful suites amazing restaurants for all budgets, mini Venice and did I mention the casino?
Yes at times you feel you are in a busy train station with the constant flow of guests coming and going and it seems all the deprived American smokers come to Vegas to smoke in the casinos and bars. But a great hotel makes guests feel they are the first people to use their bedrooms and so it is here. The rooms are absolutely minted and for $200 a night go for it. Don't be tempted to save a few bucks by staying somewhere cheaper. We went to the Starlight Theatre in the Riviera hotel a four star hotel. Walking through the Riviera made us appreciate just how good the Palazzo is. For breakfast it's hard to go by the Grand Lux Cafe in the hotel. A great value buffet breakfast for $17.
I actually can't find fault with this hotel so go for it!

The Palazo is tastefully done and classy, which is both hard to find and hard to pull off in Vegas. It is not overly flashy in the lobby nor rooms which makes it somewhat unique for the area.
Stayed for a conference. Conference rooms nice. Rooms very spacious and well done. No view in most of them, but then again, the main views from any vegas hotels are of the strip anyhow. The pool looked nice. Work out facilities nice. Smoke factor in the place was low for Vegas, still a fair amount wafting from the Casino there though.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for choosing to stay at The Venetian | The Palazzo and your generally positive review on TripAdvisor. I am pleased that you found the suite and property conducive to business.

With over one millions square feet of meeting space and one of the country’s largest unobstructed ballrooms The Venetian | The Palazzo is ready for business. Additionally, every suite has a living room suitable for smaller business meetings, as well as, an in suite fax and copy machine.

Thank you again for your positive review on TripAdvisor and I look forward to your return each time that business brings you back to Las Vegas.

Kind Regards,

This was my first time in Vegas with my husband....last time there was at the Mgm 12 years ago, so i don't have much to compare it to in Vegas. With that being said, the room was huge and beautiful with very comfy beds. When i complained about the pillows, they brought me ones that were perfect for me. They have awesome restaurants onsite (loved delmonicos and bouchon)...Spa and shopping very good too. Also like that you have the options inside the Venetian too!

I arrived after an 11pm flight, doorman did not even bother to open my taxi door (just stood there like he was helping the empty space!), check in agent gave me a smoking room without even informing me that a non-smoking room is not available! Wasted time calling the the front desk finding this out! Giving your customer something they don't want hoping they won't complaint is not five star service!
Room is a bit run down, furnishing is worn even thou u can tell they spend a ton building it, just tired looking overall for the luxury side of the Venetian brand!
I would suggest the Aria if u are spending that much, it's a bit more updated and livelier, plus in a better location.

Room Tip: I was on the 9th floor facing the back, avoid unless u want to look at the back roof and equipments!

When we go to Vegas we like to stay at The Palazzo. The rooms are large, they are clean and the Hotel is located in a great area! We feel like we are at our second home! The sitting area is very spacious with lots of room to entertain! I also love the fact that the hotel has a Non Smoking Area in there Casino as well! I wished it was bigger and not across the isle of the bar but they have one and we appreciate the effort!

Room Tip: They are all great! We have stayed there 8 times and have never had a bad one!

This was my first time as an adult in Las Vegas, my husband has been several times. We stayed for four nights and five days at the Palazzo and had a great time. We signed up for the prestige membership which gave us a private check-in with champagne on the prestige level, meaning we walked right in, got on the elevators and went up to the floor to check in. They did say someone would take our bags for us, but when we arrived there was no one available to take our bags in. The check-in was easy and with our reservation, we received free tickets to the Da Vinci exhibit, Madam Toussauds and a gondola ride. We also received the continental breakfast each morning, hot and cold appetizers each evening, along with free drinks during their happy hour time. Because of this, we only went out to eat three times during our trip. These freebies really saved us money! The meals were plenty for us! The drinks were well-made, the bartenders were friendly and accomodating, along with the table service we received while in the loung. They also provided us with a business area where we were able to check-in for our flight home and print our tickets.

The hotel itself was gorgeous! Their lobby was beautiful with statues and waterfalls. The casino was fun and even had a non-smoking area for us to enjoy; however, the staff didn't quite enforce it and we did see people smoking in that area. It still smelled better than the smoking sections. The casino service was great, the moment we sat down at a slot machine, someone was there to take our drink order. The delivery took a little while but we were expecting that. Our room was beautiful and we had a great view of the strip and Treasure Island (their nightly show was fun to watch from our room!). We were surprised there wasn't a coffee maker in the room but that didn't matter too much since we got coffee each morning in the lounge. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the turndown service was nice, as we took naps twice during our stay. They even filled up our ice bucket when they came for the turndown service! The remote control blinds and curtains were a nice treat, too! Plus the TV's across from the bed, in the living room and the bathroom were a nice addition! We expected more from the tub, it was pretty small and because of that, we didn't use it. But the stand-alone shower was pretty nice and I particuluarly liked the vanity to sit and do my hair each day.

We used the taxi stand each night/day when we went out. Even if the line looked long, it didn't take very long. We stood no more than 10 minutes for a taxi and that was only once or twice.

During our stay, we ate once at the Grand Lux, it was after midnight so we only got to choose from their late-night menu. It had options we both could choose from. I had a breakfast sandiwch and my husband had a salad. Both were huge and we really enjoyed them but didn't get to finish our plates. The second time, we got a pizza from Grimaldi's. It was very good, the only complaint was that we couldn't charge it to our room (to get Grazie points), but otherwise, the meal was enjoyable.

Overall, we would recommend this resort and casino to friends and we would definately go back to enjoy the accomodations again.

Room Tip: Splurge for a room with a view of the strip!

We had 2 rooms for 4 nights. A Bella queen and a King suite. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The strip view on an upper floor is worth the upgrade charge of around $30 per night.
There were 2 problems with the hotel, the water is hard like some other properties in Vegas and the walls are paper thin. We could hear the people next to us using the bathroom and the slamming door noise was unacceptable.
The housekeeping staff is top of the line. These are the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in. A supervisor actually follows up on the staff to visually and verbally verify room cleaning.
We had room service breakfast all 4 days. Breakfast for 2 averaged $60 with tip. Breakfast was good and took 30-45 minutes.

Room Tip: Request an upper floor strip view and pay the upcharge.
