We recently stayed at the Palazzo for two nights while in transit back from the Midwest. Upon arrival, we were allowed to check in despite being quite early. The front desk stated that they did not have an ADA suite ready but would put us in a regular suite that was flat, without the step down area. That was fine with us since the priority at that point was getting some rest.
Unfortunately, upon arrival at the room, we found out that it was a room with the living room area two steps down from the bedroom area. We alerted the front desk, chilled out for a while, had lunch and returned to the room. Shortly after returning to the room, the front desk informed us that they had another suite available and it was ADA. The bell staff delivered the keys and we trekked up to the room.
The suite was on the 45th floor and was completely ADA set up with an excellent bathroom featuring a roll in shower. Frankly, we were stunned at how big the suite was and how well appointed it was for ADA travelers. The suite faced the west, towards the strip. We could look down on Treasure Island and the Mirage and could take in the sunsets over the mountains. The suite also had an L-shaped couch that was easy to transfer to. This was, by far, the best ADA room we had ever stayed in. Can't say enough good things about it....
The casino is just the right size, big enough but not too big. The guest elevators are a ways from the front desk but not far like the hikes you have in some casinos.
There is easy access to the Grand Lux restaurant, which is pretty good. They serve large portions so be ready for that. Also, there's a good gelato place just outside of the casino and near a waterfall area that is pleasant. This hallway connects to the shops, restaurants, etc., and leads to the Venetian. Down by the Venetian, they have cheaper restaurants like Johnny Rocket's, if you want to save a few bucks.
Room service was excellent as well. They'll even set up the meal on the table in the suite, which is a nice bonus. The food was good and delivered hot.
The only complaints we had was that there were no bellhops to assist us when we checked in. As a result, we had to schlep our bags while pushing the wheelchair, balancing Starbucks drinks and jackets in my wife's lap. We felt like the Beverly Hillbillies hauling all this stuff across the ornate check in area. Not sure what was up with that... Also, we had some laundry done, which was delivered on time and in excellent condition. A short while after they delivered it, we got a call from the laundry service stating that we had our do not disturb sign out and that the guy had to deliver our laundry. I told her that we had already received our laundry and she said "no you haven't...he's right outside your door." Say what??? I said okay and went to the door but nobody was there. Not sure what was up with that....
Anyway, we got a good rate and had a great stay at the Palazzo. We would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone traveling with a wheelchair. The suite was fully accessible and, unlike a lot of hotels, had a great view. It'll be the first place we check from now on when we go to Vegas...
P.S. My wife also used the Canyon Ranch Spa and they were very accommodating and helpful. Their hair washing sinks have the chairs attached to the sink, however, so we had to adapt and go to the men's barber shop for the hair wash since the chairs there could be moved while my wife stayed in the wheelchair. We made it work, though, so that's cool.

I am particularly pleased that we exceeded your expectations in assisting you with your ADA needs. While I am pleased that overall your stay was a success, I apologize that there was no bellman available to assist you upon your arrival.
