“No Title”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

This establishment was tops in my book. It was cleean and smelled good from the time you entered the lobby. All rooms were similar to an apartment. Some with full kitchens , two baths and all the comforts of home. All staff was pleasant and eagar to help in any capacity. I did not get into the swimmiing pool (the weather was too cold for me) but I understand the water was 80 degrees and I saw people in the water having a great time. The facility was close to the airport and the strip. I recommend this hotel 100%

Room Tip: All rooms that family and friends reserved were excellent

Our spacious Bora Bora suite, at nearly 1,000 square feet, is an excellent choice for extended stays. It includes all the comforts of home, including a private bedroom with king bed, a fully-stocked kitchen and a washer-dryer. It also has a steam shower and roomy jetted tub, both great spots for relaxing after a long day on the Strip. Our sand-entry beach pool and Lazy River are great summer (or anytime) fun. We are glad you put our barbecues to good use. Since your last visit we added 13 new grills in our 10,000-square foot Island Courtyard, significantly reducing wait time during the busy summer season. Thank you for sharing your comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you will consider us again.

“Nice Resort - We love it!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

We own a timeshare at this resort and we have stayed a total of five different times for a total of 3 weeks. We just love the rooms, layout of the resort, customer service, location of the resort (very close to McCarren Airport and just minutes away from the middle of the Strip), quietness and especially love the lazy river!!! :) So nice to come back to your room from a long day of shopping and site seeing and float the lazy river topped off with a bbq and relaxing in the new adult only hot tub area. They have made some very nice upgrades throughout the property. They offer free shuttle service every half an hour to New York New York and The Mirage. We are hoping in the future they will offer more stops but we are still very happy as we love both casinos and they are not far from other casinos. You really can't go wrong with this place. It may not always be perfect but for the price it's the best kept secret in Las Vegas! We are definately coming back!

Thank you for your ownership, Sheri. We love having you as much as you love being here. Your generous review touches on all the reasons vacation ownership at Tahiti Village is such a bargain. We are glad you like the upgrades we have made. Our new adult spa opened over Thanksgiving weekend and is located in the beautiful 10,000-square foot Island Courtyard, which includes 13 new barbecue grills and a performance stage. The resort is also completely wireless as well. Now you can enjoy the internet in the comfort of your guest room. Thank you for sharing your comments. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

“Clean and Warm”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The two rooms we had were nice and clean. The lzay river was delightfully warm. The staff made sure we had what we needed. Joe's had good food, they could use more staff. Tom was our shuttle driver during the day and did a great job. Grocery shopping for eight in 40 min was not possible but everyone was very gracious. The prices were good even on the produce. The shuttle ran on time and is a great value. If you have a family larger than 5 traveling plan on two taxies, it's less than $15 per taxi. All the cab drivers are really nice. tickets for shows can be purchased in the main lobby of the resort. The kids also loved the activity room. Red rock canyon tour is well worth the $5 per person,, if you love the outdoors. Fremont street is okay, going to the golden nugget and checking out the aquariums the kids really liked. Plenty for the kids to do during the day. NewYork, New York has a good size midway and the older kids liked the coaster, because of the setup, not the fastest or best, but fun.

Room Tip: remember its vegas, watch where you shop, bring dvds for the kids to watch in the room for night tim...

“Tempted to rate a 5”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

Through Sky Auction and RCI stayed in a Bora Bora, just under 1000 sq. ft., 1 bedroom unit with patio (balconies on upper floors) Relatively new and sound proof, with granite counters, stainless appliances, jet tub and separate shower, comfortable king bed, good towels etc, sufficient dishes, coffee maker etc, 2 flat screen TV's (40"?). Room was clean and rates a 5+

It was very cold while we were there so we didn't use the pool (looked excellent for small children, a portion of which was a sandy beach type area), the spas (one was a large adult only) or the lazy river but they certainly looked good. Great, large BBQ areas with plenty of seating to eat out. On site restaurant/bar, Denny's, convenience type store. 2 fitness/work out areas that were good with a variety of newer machines

They have a quite extensive shuttle service although we did not use it.

Staff was pleasant and most accomodative to all requests.

Only things preventing an overall 5 rating were:

Minor - rather limited activity area (we did not participate in any programs so no comment there)

Major - If resort is busy many will have to park in multi story garage which is quite a long distance from most rooms.

Room Tip: Building 5 has BBQ area right outside and contains the activity center and fitness/workout room. If...

Thank you for your five-star consideration. While it would have been nice to earn your highest rating, we appreciate your complimentary review. As you mentioned, our Bora Bora unit is packed with amenities you won’t find in a typical Las Vegas hotel room. We are sorry the cold weather didn’t cooperate with your aquatic ambitions. Our sand-entry beach pool and Lazy River are both heated to a comfortable 82 degrees. The spas are ideal on cold days, but we would understand your reluctance to get out of the 103-degree waters on a cold day. Thank you once again for sharing your comments. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.
