“Thanksgiving”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Stayed here over Thanksgiving and was pleasantly surprised. We were there for the Rush concert and shopping. The outlet mall is across the street so was great for Black Friday shopping and Town Square was a short walk. The shuttle to the strip made it easy to get around and ran every 1/2 hour.
We stayed in the one bedroom lock-off called Moorea and it was comfortable for 4 people. It was nice having a fridge and kitchen with the teenage boys. The boys liked that one of the hot tubs was open 24 hours. There is only Internet in the lobby area so would be nice to have in the rooms.
Would definitely stay here again with family.

You were here for Rush? Lucky you! We are glad we could contribute to your enjoyable holiday weekend. Since you were also here for shopping, you know how convenient our location is to the outlet mall just across the street and to Town Square, a popular retail and dining center less than a mile away. As you mentioned, our shuttle departs every 30 minutes for the Strip, making stops at New York-New York and the Mirage.

The 581-square foot Moorea comfortably accommodates four people. It includes a private bedroom with king bed and a sofa sleeper in addition to a limited kitchen with a microwave and mini fridge. Our new adult spa opened over Thanksgiving weekend, increasing to two the number of Jacuzzis on property. Both are open 24 hours. Since your visit, we have wired the entire resort for Wi-Fi. Now you can enjoy the internet in the comfort of your room. Thank you for sharing your comments. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Every room is a suite; even T the "cheapie" rooms. We had a couple problems with ours (one of the TVs didn't work, and a toilet clogged), but they were very quick to send someone up to take care of the problem. The pools and hot tub could've been warmer, but even so, they were still quite nice. For the price, you won't come close to getting a room this nice on the strip. They offer a shuttle to/from the strip every half hour. Tahit Village is also the most family friendly hotel in Vegas that I know of: know slutty dancing girls, no advertisments for prostitutes or anything like that. Very clean. Very nice. This will definately be "our" hotel of choice from now on anytime we visit Vegas.

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We have three different unit types, each of them, as you mentioned in your review, a suite. From smallest to largest, they are the Moorea, Bora Bora and Royal Tahitian. The latter, at more than 1,500 square feet, is comprised of the Moorea and Bora Bora put together. No matter which configuration you choose, you will enjoy plentiful amenities, space and privacy.

We are happy we could quickly attend to your difficulties. Prompt customer service is our top priority. We are sorry you didn’t fully enjoy our aquatic attractions. Our sand-entry beach pool and Lazy River are heated to 82 degrees year-round, and our two spas to 103 (plus or minus two degrees). We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly resort. Parents and kids can enjoy numerous activities together without ever leaving the property. Thank you for sharing your comments. We hope to see you again soon.

We stayed here over the long weekend and it was a nice place to stay. We stayed in a one bedroom lock-off unit called a "Moorea". My only complaint about the unit was that the counter space in the bathroom was non-exisant. The bathroom was large, but the counter was too small for my toothbrush, toothpaste and flat iron to sit on it at the same time. It would seem that adding a few extra inches to the sink would help someone to get ready for a "night on the town".

I love the grounds and wished it was warmer this weekend because I wul hav loved to take a float don the lazy river or sit in the hot tub. There were times that I forgot I was in Vegas because it turly felt like I was on a tropical island--minus the cold.

The service as top f the line. Everyone ws so nice!

Room Tip: Moorea is nice, but I woud sugest the large room as the differnce between the rooms is well wrth the...

Thank you for sharing your comments. We appreciate the feedback. Our smallest unit at a roomy 580 square feet, the Moorea includes a private bedroom with king bed and a limited kitchen with a microwave and mini fridge. It far exceeds what most standard Las Vegas hotel rooms offer. The bathroom counter space is an issue we may address in a future renovation. In the meantime we apologize for the inconvenience. We are happy you liked the resort grounds. Their care and maintenance is a labor of love. We are also glad our Tahitian theme transported you to your own island paradise. We do have a way of making you forget you're in Vegas. Thank you once again for your complimentary review. We hope you will consider us again.

Stayed here in April of 2012 with friends. We had two 2 bedroom suites and loved it. Simple room requests were accomodated. Stayed in Building 5 on the 5th floor. BBQ, Pool and service were all good. Which is why I am booked for Feb of 2013 also.
Hoping and expecting the same great service and accomodations.

Room Tip: High floor, building 5.

We are happy to hear of your return. It is always gratifying when a positive first impression leads to another visit. We hope your second stay will lead to a third! Since your last visit we have expanded our barbecues from five to 18 and opened a new adult spa. The 13 additional grills and adult spa can be found in our new 10,000-square foot Island Courtyard, behind the Lazy River. Thank you for sharing your comments. We look forward to seeing you in February.

We were in Tahiti Village in January, 2013. It is very nice place to stay and staff is very helpful. Due to winter, we did not use swimming pool but it looks great and would have been fun. Rooms are big and neat and clean. Only if they increase frequency of cleaning, it would have been great.

Room Tip: Room with lazy river view are better and rooms on higher floors must be preferred.

We stayed at Tahiti Village in April 2012, and we were so impressed with this hotel that we are booking again with them later this year. The rooms are very spacious, and the pools are amazing. Our kids especially loved the lazy river and the 'movie nights in the pool'.
Staff are extremely helpful and the convenience of the Strip shuttle bus was great.
We would, and have recommended this hotel to our friends. Great for families.

Hello, Kylie. Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. It’s good to hear you are returning so soon, coming as you are from so far away. Since your last visit we have opened an adult- only spa and added 13 new barbecue grills for your convenience. Both are found in our new 10,000-square foot Island Courtyard behind the Lazy River. Movie Night at our sand-entry beach pool has proven to be one of our most popular attractions. We figured if you enjoy swimming and movies individually you’ll love them simultaneously. We are happy our resort staff met your expectations and you found our shuttle service convenient. Thank you for recommending us to your friends. We appreciate the good word and look forward to seeing you soon.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable. It had a nice pool and a lazy river plus a 24 hour jacuzzi. The massage parlor was a little expensive but 'twas good. If you wanna go to Vegas and have kids with you. I guess this is a perfect resort to stay at. It is slightly far from the strip but they have the free shuttle service to and fro from the strip which makes it convenient. they also have family events like movie nights by the pool and many more.
