We have stayed at Tahiti Village twice now and I love it. The first time, we were with my extended family and we used two rooms, one two bedroom and a one bedroom. We were quite happy with our accommodation. I would have liked a balcony in the suite we stayed in, but it wasn't a big deal as we were not at the hotel too often. We had a blast bbqing in the grill area and met other guests, which was fun.

Our second trip was just myself and my husband on our honeymoon. We really enjoyed the pool and lazy river. We went for one meal at Tahiti Joes. The atmosphere was a little underwhelming, but my food was amazing. We stopped at the bar to have a drink after and the bartender was a little rude, but the drinks were cheap so we got over it.

We also ate at Denny's a few times and it was always fast and convenient.

I can't wait to go back.

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village, Toni. We are glad you liked us well enough the first time to return for your honeymoon. Our accommodations are spacious and well-appointed, with many convenient amenities. Our barbecue area is a popular gathering spot for our guests to chat, laugh and of course have a great meal. There isn’t a better place than our sand-entry beach pool or Lazy River to spend a relaxing day. We’re sorry you didn’t receive the kind of friendly customer service we expect from our employees. There is no excuse for even a “little rude.” Thank you for sharing your comments. We appreciate the feedback and hope to see you again soon.

“Perfect off-the-strip hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2012 NEW

We stayed 2 nights at this condo-style resort. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. There is a beautiful smell of exotic flowers everywhere on the proprety. The pool is large and uncrowded, whereas the lazy river is more popular and crowded. There is a nice spot for BBQs or sitting down with drinks, but it does get busy if you go too late. The resort is very clean and well-maintained. It is a little spot of paradise in this extremelly loud and busy town!

Our room was a small unit with a partial kitchen. Please note that there is only a microwave, no oven, so you are very limited in what you can cook. There is no real kitchen table in this small unit, so we ate our breakfast on the coffee table. We also did not have a balcony. The resort is across the street from an outlet mall and a short drive to the main strip. Parking is free at the larger hotels on the strip, so taking your car is a posible alternative.
We also stayed at Caesars Palace for 3 nights. If I were to go back to Las Vegas, I would prefer to stay at the Tahiti Village. It is quieter, a good size, and location is very convenient. The price is also very reasonable.
We did two day drips from this hotel : Mount Charleston and Red Rock. Both are beautiful and worth the trip, but I would recommend Red Rock if your time is limited.
You can't go wrong with this hotel.

Room Tip: Reserve a large unit if you want to cook and eat in. This hotel is perfect for couples and families...

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Your review touches on all the things that make us a popular resort destination. You are the first, however, to notice the sweet smell of flowers in bloom all over the property. It makes the walk from the pool or Lazy River to your room that much nicer. The barbecue area has five grills and is a popular gathering spot for guests, particularly in warmer weather. We take pride in our resort and work diligently to maintain its appearance. The room you mention, the Moorea, is our smallest unit but has a private bedroom with king bed, living room and kitchenette. We offer shuttle tours to Red Rock Canyon twice a week but not to Mount Charleston. Thank you for sharing your comments. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Tahiti Village from May 5 to 12 2012. We started out on a ground floor room but asked if we could move up to a balcony overlooking the pool. The big fight was on that weekend so they couldn't accomodate us on the Saturday but moved us to room 5104 on Sunday. We had a view of the lazy river but more important a balcony off the ground and away from the parked cars. The front desk staff, bellman, cleaning staff, security, store clerk, pool staff and concierge were all friendly and helpful. This resort is beautiful from the rooms to pools and grounds. It is within walking distance to the outlet mall, Outback and Chilis restaurants as well as a few more in the area. The shuttles are on time and the drivers very courteous. We did end up with one driver to the strip that needs to be mentioned as she made our ride the most enjoyable as she is just full of life and that would be Honeylai(I apologize for the spelling)her and my husband had a blast cracking jokes back and forth. All in all we had a wonderful stay for our anniversary and would not hesitate to go back. Actually I will probably be there with the girls for a few days in September. Thank you Tahiti Staff

Thank you for selecting Tahiti Village for your anniversary. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the view. You can’t appreciate the beauty and grandeur of the Lazy River until you've seen it from five floors up. Providing great customer service is first on our to-do list. We are gratified to know our staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for complimenting our rooms and grounds. We work hard to make sure they are always immaculate.

We recently equipped our shuttle drivers with new material. As you know the success of a joke depends not only on the punch line but also in the telling. Honeylei is well-schooled in the fundamental mechanics of a joke, including timing, voice inflection and rubber chickens. We are happy we could contribute to a great anniversary. Thank you for sharing your comments, and we hope to see you in September.

“Very Nice Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2012

My family and I rented two units for a week the end of april, One two bedroom and one one bedroom. The units are very large and nicely furnished. They have private balconys. However, the view is not great unless you get one facing the pool. But thats no big deal. Who goes to vegas to spend all their time siiting on a balcony? The property is well maintained and landscaped beautiful. The pool and lazy river are really nice and a great way to spend your morning on a hot day. THe hot tub which is open 24hrs is great at night after walking the strip. My only complaint is that they will not allow you to bring your own beverages or bottled water into the gated pool/lazy river area. And they rape you if you buy it from them. $4.00 for a bottle of water is way out of hand considering the local supermarket down the street sells two cases of 24 for $5.00. It was a pain but I just kept going back upto the room to get something. I mean if they charged $1.00 or enen $2 like most conveince stores that wouldn't be bad. It burns me up cause I sell bottled water at my store at home and I know that it only costs our store 16 cents a bottle wholesale so how do they get off charging $4.00??? Other than that my family and I would stay here again. It was enjoyable and overall a nice place to stay..

Room Tip: If you want a room with a view get one over lookin the pool.

There is no better place to spend a relaxing day than in our sand-entry beach pool or Lazy River. We agree; our 24-hour hot tub is a wonderful treat after a long night on the Strip. Good news: We now permit water and non-alcoholic beverages in sealed plastic bottles in the pool area and Lazy River. Thank you for sharing your comments. “Beautiful hotel with awesome rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012

Let me start off by saying the hotel is amazing, the facilities are really beautiful and this hotel is well worth the money. Unfortunately their customer service really let it down, we arrived at 10pm and were all very tired, hoping to be checked in quick as we had already made a booking and paid online. We were told that they couldn't find our booking but they would get the manager and it should be sorted soon. No Biggy. Well after a 30 minute wait the staff on the desk requested my mobile phone so they could show the email to the manager, we waited a further 15 minutes before they finally gave us our room keys.

In the foyer most of the people checking in seemed to be having issues and weren't very happy. Once we got to our rooms we were delighted with the size, cleanliness, view of vegas and comfortableness of the bed. (1000 count sheets) :)

The spa is wonderful and very clean, all the guest seemed to be quite happy once checked in. Unfortunately the pool was closed at 8pm. We all thought that this was too early seeing as the location is so hot and the pool area is so lovely at night.

They also have a lazy river that you can sit in a inflatable ring and drift around the propelled pool in. It is very relaxing and like your in a Tahiti here.

All in all our stay was lovely and I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Vegas.
Just remember that once you get through the checkin desk everything is brilliant.

Room Tip: Ask for in room internet to be included in your resort fee. The Free Wifi is average at best. and th...

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village, Elise. We are glad you enjoyed your stay after a long trip from Down Under. Please accept our apology for the check-in difficulty. We are sorry you and your party were delayed in enjoying our spacious suites even one extra minute. Our deluxe Royal Tahitian offers all the comforts of home. It includes a full kitchen, kitchenette, two separate bedrooms with king beds, living areas, washer-dryer and steam shower among other amenities. We’re glad you enjoyed the 1,000-count sheets and spectacular view.

Our pool hours change seasonally. Your visit coincided with spring hours, which are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the main pool and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the Lazy River. We start summer hours on May 21. The main pool will be open until 10 p.m. and the Lazy River to 6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 10 p.m. on weekends. Sunday Lazy River hours will run either to 6 p.m. or 10 p.m. based on resort occupancy. Our main pool closing time during spring is later than the typical Las Vegas resort.

Thank you for sharing your comments. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.

“Let down”

We stayed as a family of 5 over the Easter holidays for a week , booking the Royal Tahitian ( biggest must expensive room ) as we were getting married in Vegas so this week was also to be our honeymoon. Check in I thought would be a breeze as arrived late ( which I had called ahead to let them know and ask for tower 5 will a pool view if possible ) , ya right ! We were given a room suitable for a disabled person , NO bath tubs ( let alone the 2 person jetted tub we were supposed to have ) and No steam shower , these were one of the reasons we booked that room . We trekked back down to reception and bluntly told the lady we were not taking that room and she had better find us what we had payed for and low and behold we eventually got it , ya the customer service sucked ! The rest of the vacation went ok , pool was way to cold though we had to just use the lazy river and it was hot 30 degrees . Shuttle bus was good and even had car seats built in for kids under 6 yrs old . All in all not worth the $175 a night though

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are disappointed your stay wasn’t everything you expected. A portion of our rooms provide special access to those with disabilities. We’re sorry you were mistakenly assigned one of those units. It was our pleasure to rectify the issue as soon as it was brought to our attention. We try our best to accommodate specific room requests, but can’t guarantee them. Thank you for sharing your comments. We appreciate the feedback.

“Excellent Hotel.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012

We stayed at Tahiti Village Resort and Spa for eight days in April 2012 and were also married at their Hotel in front of the water falls by the main pool. I believe this is one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at and the service and professionalism of the employees was amazing. They bent over backwards for us treating us like royalty (we had other family members staying at Luxor and MGM, who were very disappointed with their rooms after seeing our room). A special thanks to Mikey, who set us up with amazing show tickets. The only downside is the location and even that wasnt a real problem because the hotel provides shuttle busses to the strip every half hour. We will definately stay at Tahiti the next time we are in Vegas.

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are honored you chose us for your very special day. In addition to the waterfall, our pool area has two more scenic wedding spots: the gazebo and beach. We take pride in our friendly customer service and are happy you were treated, if we may quote your review, like royalty.

We are not surprised your family members were disappointed with their Strip hotel rooms after seeing our spacious suites. Even our smallest unit (the Moorea) has a kitchenette and separate bedroom with king bed. The Bora Bora also has a private bedroom with king bed, but comes with a full kitchen, washer-dryer and steam shower among other amenities. The two of them together form our deluxe Royal Tahitian, which, at more than 1,500 square feet, easily accommodates eight people.

We are two miles south of the resort corridor on Las Vegas Boulevard. Our convenient shuttle service operates daily from 9 a.m. and makes stops at two Strip properties twice an hour. Thank you for sharing your comments. We wish you all the best in your marriage and hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Vegas.
