We stayed 2 nights at this condo-style resort. The resort is beautiful and the grounds are immaculate. There is a beautiful smell of exotic flowers everywhere on the proprety. The pool is large and uncrowded, whereas the lazy river is more popular and crowded. There is a nice spot for BBQs or sitting down with drinks, but it does get busy if you go too late. The resort is very clean and well-maintained. It is a little spot of paradise in this extremelly loud and busy town!
Our room was a small unit with a partial kitchen. Please note that there is only a microwave, no oven, so you are very limited in what you can cook. There is no real kitchen table in this small unit, so we ate our breakfast on the coffee table. We also did not have a balcony. The resort is across the street from an outlet mall and a short drive to the main strip. Parking is free at the larger hotels on the strip, so taking your car is a posible alternative.
We also stayed at Caesars Palace for 3 nights. If I were to go back to Las Vegas, I would prefer to stay at the Tahiti Village. It is quieter, a good size, and location is very convenient. The price is also very reasonable.
We did two day drips from this hotel : Mount Charleston and Red Rock. Both are beautiful and worth the trip, but I would recommend Red Rock if your time is limited.
You can't go wrong with this hotel.
Room Tip: Reserve a large unit if you want to cook and eat in.
This hotel is perfect for couples and families...

Thank you for visiting Tahiti Village. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Your review touches on all the things that make us a popular resort destination. You are the first, however, to notice the sweet smell of flowers in bloom all over the property. It makes the walk from the pool or Lazy River to your room that much nicer. The barbecue area has five grills and is a popular gathering spot for guests, particularly in warmer weather. We take pride in our resort and work diligently to maintain its appearance. The room you mention, the Moorea, is our smallest unit but has a private bedroom with king bed, living room and kitchenette. We offer shuttle tours to Red Rock Canyon twice a week but not to Mount Charleston. Thank you for sharing your comments. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.
