“If you're IN the Casino and Starved its OK.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2011

We had a Reservation and when we arrived at 7:00 pm on a Saturday the place had only one other party. The light were turned up brightly. The table setting did not include a Butter Knife. The Bread basket was a mixture plus three different butters, The craker bread was good, the rest was below average, We ordered two shrimp cocktails ( $ 8.00 for 4 Shrimp ) , the shrimp were large, however tough from overcooking and dry from sitting around for a while. The French Onion Soup was very good and the Lobster Bisque was OK. The Beef Stroganoff came in a gigantic dish, however the sauce was bland , the pasta was out of a box and the meat was low quality. The Steak Diane was a huge cut of good beef, cooked as ordered and again a bland boring sauce. For dessert we tried the Cheesecake and Double Chocolate fudge cake. These Items make this place worth stopping for. Just Order Dessert and Coffee. Friendly service at moderate prices.

“A good unpretentious meal, underrated.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2011

This was the last stop on our buffet list. I was not disappointed. They have hot, fresh, made to order hamburgers/cheeseburgers/hot dogs and french fries (perfect and crispy) with a variety of toppings (very good). Oops. I did not take a picture of my food here either - that brings my count to two actually. The service was great, very attentive. There was not a lot of variety here, but we had more than enough choices to satisfy everyone in our party. There ribs here, that were very tender - seemed to be a crowd favorite, but, no BBQ sauce (at least I did not see any, bummer). They actually had low fat frozen yogurt (yay!) with a variety of toppings, quite enjoyable. They also had mashed potatoes mixed with spinach - which was good, and a tasty seafood "alfredo". I also saw seaweed as well as plain ole tuna on the salad bar, wow, that is different, especially for a small local buffet. What I was so thrilled to find here was, FINALLY, a Coke product. This was the first place we dined at that actually had Coca Cola. The only things I tried that were not very good were the sugar free desserts. The other - regular desserts were good though. If I were in the area I would definitely dine here again, without question. We had one BOGO coupon between the four of us, adding to an already great value. They do not discount for kids over age four - a think it is, but still a really good value. This was a good choice for us and worth the try.

Food was just average. Very little selection of desserts. We were really disappointed in this meal.

“Be WARE of the “Wild West Buffet” at The Arizona Charlie’s”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2006

Our dining experience at the “Wild West Buffet” was a total nightmare, the food was COLD, and several days OLD, not to mention the very LIMITED variety, and the pies were at least one week old. The chairs were old, ugly and uncomfortable. We asked for a table in the NO SMOKING section, but to our surprise, the people at the table right next to ours started smoking cigarettes, we complained and insisted on being seated at a different table away from the smoke, the staff didn’t seem to care about the incident or ask the other people to put out their cigarettes. In all, our dinning experience at that place was a nightmare, something we would never repeat again, for over $8.00/person, we could have had a much better dining experience in another nice place in Las Vegas.
