“Great place to stay in Vegas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2014

My family held our family reunion in Vegas and had a great time at the Platinum hotel. The accommodations are great with large clean room that are non smoking. While the rooms were good for families it's also a great deal for individuals as well. If you want a place that isn't chaotic but close to the stop this is a great location. Check out the spa too!

We stayed here for three nights - my only criticism is that it is so comfortable and lovely that we didn't want to leave it! So it was hard to drag the kids out in the morning :) We were upgraded and given a strip side room on the 7th floor. Pool was on the 5th and was very nice - the hours of the pool had been extended to 11PM which was really great after a long day on the strip. It was a little bit of a walk at the end of the day but we also took taxis which worked out just fine. The one time we were in a real hurry to get to our Beatles show the Valets gave us a ride in the Hotel car! Awesome. I would completely stay here again. Front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Valets were very friendly. Beds super comfy, good pillows, great bathroom. Highly recommend.

Thank you for the great review. I am very proud of the staff for their hard work in ensuring you had a great stay. Although we do not normally offer the hotel car for rides, I'm very glad to hear that the team was able to take care of you. I wish you all the best and hope to see you again next time.

Spacious, comfortable, clean, great kitchen, jacuzzi, nice pool open late (11 p.m.), great views, friendly staff. No casino, walk to Strip can be long in summer. Only downside for us was the mandatory valet parking. Free wi-fi.

Spent 8 nights at the Platinum Hotel in July and again had a great stay. I say again as we have been to Vegas about 35 times over the past number of years, and have stayed at Platinum 6 of the last 8. The value of this property is exceptional, with the comforts of a full kitchen and living area standard, along with a huge bathroom and separate bedroom, makes this the perfect place to stay. Though a couple of blocks off the strip, the location is still great, especially if you have a car. Valet parking is free but the guys working valet are so helpful, I would not consider using the service without tipping these gentlemen. They are prompt, helpful and very accommodating. Front desk staff are great and also very professional and helpful. The property is smoke free and does not have a casino, but it is nice to get away from the noise for a bit too. Best deal in Vegas!!

Just a fantastic Hotel 1 block from the strip, quite, homely, and all the staff were fantastic, we received a big bowl of fruit for letting the painters paint the balcony, its the little things that they do so well that made our stay unforgettable. the breakfast was also great. and the Spa was great also and there are no Resort fee's like the big casino's now charge you as here its all included.
This hotel is a gem in Las Vegas and we will certainly be back soon.

Room Tip: If you want to do your own washing obtain a room that has a w/mahcine and dryer

Thank you for the great review. I think I spoke to you during your stay and I'm glad to hear that you received and enjoyed the amenity. We enjoy being able to give great personalized service that can be lacking in this city of Mega resort/casinos. We hope we see you again sometime. Cheers!

+ Fully furnished with all major kitchen appliances.
+ Rode local bus to Albertsons to stock ip on 8 days of grocery
+ Free wi-fi was great. Helped making choices of where to go and what to do very easy (including bus information to malls, etc.)
+ Front desk very cheerful and welcoming
+ 2 person jetted tub
+ Pool area with shade welcome in the 110 heat
+ Bus stop to Fashion mall\Wynn close by
+ Manger very eager to rectify issues
- July visit very HOT 100+ each day
- About a 12 minute walk to strip. However, after 6 mins., one can go through Ballys and Paris to avoid the heat
- If you are walking a lot of trash alongside parking lot on your way to the strip. I think the LV civic admin should have someone clean the walkways within 1 mile radius of the strip.
- Had an issue with housekeeping that the manager satisfied beyond what was necessary
- No taxi stand, but they will summon one for you

I would stay again, as the - above are easy to overcome

Room Tip: If a view is worthwhile, you can pay for an upgrade. Pet friendly, you may want a floor with no pet...

Thank you for the good review. I do apologize about the trash on the sidewalks and walk ways to the Strip. I agree and would love to have this area cleaned up more by the city or our neighbors. In the past the hotel has sent out a team to try to clean up around the block. It was pretty hot when you stayed. It can get very hot in Las Vegas. Believe it or not but it is actually much less hot than last year when I believe it got up to 118. December is great though here, when most other areas are packed with snow, we are loving the cool desert nights. We hope to see you again soon.

We spent there 2 nights and it was great. Huge rooms with modern furniture and kitchen. Friendly staff at the reception and a free of charge Valet parking. This all for a reasonable price and away from the loud and hectic hotel-casinos.
Just 10 minutes walk to the Strip (during hot period a short cut trough the Balleys Hotel-Casino can be taken) and you are in front of the Bellagio.
I would come again.

Room Tip: Strip-View would be considered

Thank you for the nice review. One of the best things a hotelier can read is that the guest would or wants to come back. We are glad we met your expectations and hope to see you soon. All the best.
