“Doesn't get better than the Signature at MGM Grand.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2010

The MGM signature is a lovely hotel/ condo property conveniently located on the south end of the strip. You will find that some of the property is actually condo’s owned by buyers whom either live there or rent them out. No staff is there to per sway you into purchasing the property and this is not a time share. It is however an elegant boutique hotel with fine and affordable accommodations in Vegas. We love this property because we can count on a great location, a reliable staff, a clean room and bathroom, and comfort. There are a variety of suites, jr. suites, one bedroom, and two bedrooms, depending on how much privacy you need they are all large enough to share with four persons in any of them. Breakfast is not included but can be for an additional charge, but room services is 24 hours, is super delish, and the suites have kitchenettes! Concierge handles clients with care and we really don’t care to stay anywhere else when we are in Vegas. At MGM we can spend our days shopping or soaking in either of the two private pools at Signature, take in the Spa treatments or float in our tubes on the Lazy River, slushy Margerita’s in hand. Really it’s almost as good as an island getaway. Leisurely nights to attend shows (KA by Cirque Du Soleil plays at MGM, though we highly recommend Zumanity), throw your hard earned dough into the Casinos, or eat French fusion cuisine at Joel Rubuchon’s. MGM also has access to the metro to whisk you all over the city of lights. You really wouldn’t even have to leave the hotel to have a fab weekend! Best ~ Shannon and Michael Lee

We stayed in Las Vegas for two nights. I had a very hard time deciding on a hotel to stay at because there are so many choices. Based on the reviews on tripadvisor I booked a room at The Signature and it was perfect. Our room, well let's call it a suite, was located on the 37th floor and had a balcony overlooking the strip. We had a huge and comfortable bed, a nice sofa area, a small kitchen and a magnificent bathroom with a huge shower and a big bath tub/whirlpool. It was perfect and absolutely worth its price. Service was always very friendly and we enjoyed the non-gambling, non-smoking facilities. There is a free parking lot for the MGM hotels but it is quite a walk from there to The Signature. So, do not try to check-in at the MGM as we did! You have to walk through the whole hotel until you get to the Signature Check In. Rather take your car there and drop off your luggage. The location of the hotel is very central and you can walk the strip from there. Highly recommended!!!

Pro's: Spacious rooms that are well-equipped; good kitchenette for those wanting to save $ on meals if you can find a grocery store; a nice refuge from the activity of the strip (because it's a fair walk away, but totally manageable); hotel is relatively new; good security.

Con's: Sound transmits easily from room to room and we had noisy neighbors that kept us awake; location is the southern end of the strip; while the lobby was nice, our room looked worn.

We booked through expedia, which booked directly with the hotel. You can get cheaper rates through vacation rental owners/agencies, but be cautious that it's someone reputable.

We stayed at the MGM signature when we went out to Vegas for a family wedding. The room was absolutely marvelous and comfortable. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was the distance from the MGM Grand Casino ( our tower distance made it a good 15 minute walk back and forth, which didn't bother too much unless I was wearing my super high heels). And it's not in the center of the strip, but again, didn't bother me too much. A majority of the rest of our party was at the Bellagio, and based on service and value it sounds like we made out better than them in every way.

I must say that I was beyond pleased with my wife's choiceto stay at MGM Signature. I was expecting a very nice property after doing research on the Signature on tripadvisor but our stay even surpassed those expectations. 1st off, I booked thru a company called bluechipvegas. They are a 3rd party rental/booking agency that books for MGM and has their own cleaning company. They were great with everything from the online booking to the daily cleaning service. I requested a junior suite(520 sq feet) on a high floor with a strip side view and a balcony in tower #1 and was offered room 38609 on the top floor(penthouse level)! Wow, what a view! The great thing about 38609 compared to other rooms with balconies is that the balconies in the very middle from the 29th to 38th floor are oversized, so you have an extra 2 feet of space. Trust me, it makes a big difference so request room 38609 in Tower #1 when you book as it is no extra charge. The view was great,as we saw a compltely unobstructed view of City Center, Monte Carlo, New York New York, PH West Gate, Planet Hollywood, the Palazzo, the Venetian and could also see Rio, the top of Bellagio, Excalibur, Bally's. Trump Tower, Treasure Island, the Orleans and the Mountains. Sensational. In addition to the lovely junior suite equipped with a kitchen, huge shower and jet tub, couch(pulled out to sleep our two kids comfortably) and awesome oversized balcony, the Signature offered three great pools(the 3rd Tower's pool is only open on weekends though), a Starbucks, Delights cafe(excellent breakfast), two fitness rooms(did not use but looked great), a lounge(open til 2AM for drinks) and a very helpfull lobby staff and concierge. The valet guys out front were beyond nice and called for taxis(takes less than 2 minutes) anytime we wanted one. The one thing I would highly recommend is that you always request Tower #1. The walk to the MGM Wet Republic pool is only 2-3 minutes, the MGM Food Court is only 3 minutes flat, and only 7-8 minutes to the 1st slot machine/step onto the MGM casino floor. It takes about 11-12 minutes to the strip if you walk thru MGM or about 10 minutes if you walk down Harmon Ave to the corner where Planet Hollywood is. If you stay in Tower #2 or Tower #3 you easily are adding another 2-4 minutes to those times. The view may be better if you want to look down the strip towards Stratosphere(who would lol!?) from Tower #3, but Starbucks is in Tower #1, the lounge is in Tower #1, the Concierge is in Tower #1 and the MGM Casino and Pool are closest from Tower #1. So, if you are looking for a great view, great price, great service and want to be closest as possible to all the best amenities(MGM Casino, MGM Pool, Starbucks, the Lounge, MGM Food Court, Concierge) than I would give bluechipvegas dot com a call and request 38609 in Tower #1 since they do the bookings I guess for that room and actually charge less than MGM does for the same type of room(junior suite, balcony, penthouse level) and it's only one of two junior suites on the 38th floor of Tower #1 with an oversized balcony.

I've probably stayed in more than two dozen hotels in Las Vegas and the SIgnature is by far the best. I especially liked my strip side view -I was on 23rd floor in newest tower closest to Harmon Avenue.

The rooms were fantastic. Comfortable beds, full kitchenette, and one of my favorites a flat screen TV in the bathroom as well! The entire property is non-smoking, has internet and tower 3 also had a well equipped workout room on the ground floor.

A few other things of note that might be of benefit:

1) Ask for a strip view. MGM does all it can to accommodate guest preferences, so ask and you'll likely receive. Besides, MGM doesn't charge higher prices for a strip vs desert view!
2) The 3rd and newest tower (closest to Harmon Ave) offers the best strip view of the 3 towers. This is because the buildings are angled so tower 3's view is not obstructed by tower1 or 2 - I had a great view of City Center and the east side of the strip - Planet Hollywood all the way up beyond The Stratosphere.
3) Another neat advantage to tower 3 is that it is midway between MGM and Planet Hollywood. So if you want to go to Planet Hollywood, City Center, Paris, and casinos to the north.you can simply go out the front gate of the Signature property and make a left down Harmon Avenue. In 5 minutes you'll be on the strip!

Stayed at the Signature in Vegas for 3 nights in July, very hot 100+. We stayed in tower 2 on the 18th floor. Hotel and room very clean. Room was smaller than we envisaged so were a bit disappointed there but the bathroom made up for it, huge shower enclosure and a nice big jet bath. The signature is on the back of the MGM grand and you do get fed up with the extended walk to reach the strip 2 or 3 times a day (15 - 20mins), every day it seemed to get longer. One minor but niggling thing about the room was the teas and coffee tray. Vast array of types of teas and coffee, 5 different types of sugar but only supplied with 3 tiny milk portions every day WHY!? the pool area was excellent. $99 per night but after tax and resort fee more like $140, still a good deal though. $13 taxi fare to the airport. Be prepared to spend more than you expect, Vegas is not cheap then you have to add tips to everything.
