“Wonderful Weekend Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

A fabulous place to stay, especially when travelling with children. The rooms are suites, very spacious and immaculate. We were given adjoining suites that were enclosed by a set of double doors, which allowed for additional privacy and common contact, as we could keep our individual doors open.

Staff members were courteous, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the convenience of the walkways from The Signature, to the pools, through the food court, shopping mall all the way to The MGM hotel. Access to the MGM's pools were added bonus.

Just returned from a two week vacation that included a four day stay in LV at the Signature. Hate to use the word "hotel", because it is so much more. Our whole experience with the Signature was a pleasure...from reservation to check out. We had a one bedroom suite on the 31st floor with a balcony view of the mountains and part of the strip. Clean, comfortable, and convenient! We stayed in tower three making it about a ten minute walk through an enclosed, air conditioned hallway to the MGM Grand, and from there out onto the strip. Thumbs up to the housekeeping staff, as our room was always cleaned, stocked, and bed made upon returning to the room in the afternoon after we had gone out for the morning. This place is like a quiet haven in the middle of the chaos of the strip. It is a joy to return to the Signature with its cool, quiet, elegant surroundings and just relax for a bit after spending time out in the craziness! Knowing the whole place is keycard access only also provides for a good feeling of security. Make no mistake, however, Las Vegas is EXPENSIVE! Yes, you do get a good deal on the rooms, but that's where it ends. We never had a meal for less than $100. Sodas and soft drinks are around $4-6. We paid $30 for a mango daquari and a glass of wine at one hotel! I mean, we were on vacation, so it was OK, but really? Thirty bucks and the dude still wants a tip? Anyway, had a great time even though we are not really drinkers, gamblers, or partiers, and The Signature was absolutely wonderful! If we ever get back to Las Vegas, we will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: They charge an additional $10 dollars to stay on a higher floor.....so worth it!

We stayed at a penthouse suite on the 36 floor. The room was perfect and the view from the balcony breathtaking (there are not much hotels with balconies in Vegas). There is absolutely nothing to complain about. We also enjoyed that there is no casino in the hotel (therefore more quiet) but if you want to gamble you are just 10 minutes away through the direct connection to the MGM Grand. There is a small "restaurant" in tower 2 which serves good meals (a bit pricey but ok). To the strip you walk about 10 minutes. But if you stay at a hotel direct at the strip consider that you also have to walk through the whole hotel, walkway, casino, entrance etc which may also take up to 10 min. You can use all the facilities of the MGM (i.e. Pool) which is nice. However we enjoyed the Signature pool as it was more quiet. All in all: I will stay there again.

Room Tip: Choose a room with strip view.

The Signature at MGM Grand has suites rented by MGM as well as several different private owners. I want to preface my review by stating that we rented ours through Rental By Owner @ the Signature for suite 27-801/803. Needless to say, other experiences may vary.

Our family, 2 adults and 3 kids ages 6-19, stayed here for 3 nights. This was THE MOST LUXURIOUS PLACE we have ever stayed. This double suite is on the corner of the 27th floor, in Tower 3. The views from the balcony were incredible, just as pictured on their website. The decor and furniture were very tasteful. The bathrooms, there were THREE full baths, were large and bright and super clean. Lots of towels. The kitchen in the one bedroom suite (the larger one) was very convenient. My wife LOVED the high-end non-stick frying pan which she used to make perfect scrambled eggs. The kitchen is also stocked with glasses, plates, utensils, dish washing liquid and dishwasher detergent, and salt and pepper.
We used the pools everyday, even tried out the lazy river at the MGM Grand. My kids actually preferred the relative calmness of the Tower pools.
Here's a tip. The shortest way to get to the Strip is to walk out through the guard gate onto Harmon Ave, then turn left. The Miracle Mile shops are 2 blocks away. So is the Saxe Theater where we saw two shows.

The only negative is that the Wi-fi signal only worked in the Jr Suite (we had 2 Iphones and a netbook, none of which worked in the 1 bedroom suite). However, there is an ethernet cable in the top left drawer of the bedroom desk and an ethernet outlet next to it on the wall which worked fine for the netbook I had. (obviously would not work for Iphones or Ipads).

The other issue I had has nothing to do with the suite itself but with the Signature as a whole. There is only valet parking, which is hit and miss. The first night, the crew was disorganized and slow and rude., but later it got better. I was under the impression from some etiquette websites that I'm supposed to tip dropping off the car as well as picking up, so I gave them $5 on arrival. However, after a couple of times of leaving my car, my final impression is that they really don't expect a tip when you drop off the car.

Lastly, I want to add that the savings of going through Rental by Owner is significant compared to the 30% more that the MGM reservations quoted to me for similar suites. The other major advantage is that I know exactly which suite I'm getting, not something with a view of the airport.
The downside of using Rental By Owner is that there is NO daily room service unless you arrange it in advance, at a hefty additional charge. Keep in mind that shampoo and soap will not be refreshed unless you pay for daily room service so bring your own or use it sparingly.
I would definitely like to stay here again sometime.

Room Tip: try to get a room as high as possible with a strip view. The one bedroom suites are much nicer than...

Stayed 5 nights in a one bedroom suite with my girlfriend. One of the nicest places I have ever stayed at, and excellent value. The suites are beautiful and very comfortable, with huge bed, bathroom and jacuzi, plus a cool view. Vegas is tonnes of fun, and having such a cool pad heightens the experience. Great pools at the Signature, and the chaos of the MGM Grand complex is closeby. The walk to the strip isn't far, there are travellators at the Signature and there is plenty to see as you walk through the MGM. This would only be a problem if you had a disability or you were seriously unfit. Great stay, really enjoyed it, keep doing what you are doing MGM Signature!

We stayed here this weekend. When we booked we let them know we had children. They assured us the pools would be perfect for them. Well, that could not be a bigger lie of they tried. The pool was so over packed with drunk people that the lazy river doesn't even move. One man even pushed my 8 year old under the most intense waterfall I have ever felt. Luckily my 25 year old saw her in time and pulled her out from being trapped in the current. When I told management, they said there was nothing they could do, that they have a routy crowd because of the concerts they host... So why did you originally tell me this is the perfect place for kids? Also, why does a child drowning not alert the sleeping lifeguard? Oh, and why is their response to my child drowning, "I can comp you a couple drinks at the pool tomorrow?" Are you kidding? Why would I go back to pool where my child almost died? You should also know the Signature's team claims there are not a part of the MGM even though they are called The Signature at the MGM Grand. What a joke. Don't got here. Way over priced and not safe at all.

Another thing- you're only allowed to park 1 car at the hotel. They tell you if you have 2 to go park the other one at the MGM even though they claim not to be connect.

Stayed 5 nights in a 1-bedroom suite. Had a good deal on iprefer booking and had the privilege of early check-in. To our surprise, delivered to our room was a bottle of champagne and strawberry dipped chocolates! That's VIP treatment! We love The Signature for everything.... the small kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, 2 bathrooms, jacuzzi, the tv that pops up out of the table, tv in the living room, small tv in the bathroom, good housekeeping service, pools, proximity to the best places in Vegas. What can I say... I just love Signature!

This time we came as a family. The sofa converts into a sofa bed with a real mattress. How cool is that? it was a comfortable bed and could sleep 2, so we didn't have to book another room for the kids.

My husband loved their gym, he was here everyday. as a signature guest, there was also access to all MGM pools but we preferred the pool at the signature which was more quiet and exclusive. We rented a car; their valet parking service was very useful. $2-$5 tip each time, To appreciate the housekeeping ladies, leave a tip on the dining table.

Room Tip: Tower 2 is great. Tower 3 a little bit far. Tower 1 is very close to MGM and wet republic...which...
