“We love the Signature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

Great place to stay. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. You can't hear anyone next to you. We stayed for five days and the cleaning staff was excellent to work around our daily schedule. Only bad thing is you do have to walk a little bit to get to the MGM or to any place to eat. The Signature sits a little off the Las Vegas Blvd, behind the MGM. You do get to use the MGM pools while staying at the Signature.

We went to Las Vegas recently to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary with friends and stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand. We shared a two bedroom suite which was perfect for our group. The signature is showing a little wear but is still and outstanding property.

Rented a Cabana at Tower 1 pool on a Saturday and enjoyed having the shade, tv and other amenities but felt that the cleanliness of the pool area could have been better and it would have been nice to have had the staff have the cabana prepared for us as opposed to having to request such things as turning on the television, etc. Drink service was good and food was fine but not having the cold towels available as in previous years was really noticed!

Saw Love and Celine Dion and both shows were great! Great dinners at Wolfgang Puck in MGM and Japonais in the Mirage. Not as happy with Mesa Grill as the prices were extremely high for the food we chose and frankly we had one of the strangest waitresses I have ever encountered. Not unfriendly but just sort of strange in her mannerisms and interjecting her personal quirks into every sentence. Food was good but overall a very expensive dinner and not as polished as one would expect.

Overall though it was a great trip!

Everything was great :-) I highly recommend. One note - if you dont wish to walk to the casino, book at the MGM Grande itself and not at the Signature. It was a decent walk to the casino from Tower #2 even though the walk was inside with motorized walkways.

Chose this property for a guys' weekend and couldn't have been happier. Location was great: walking distance to mid-Strip and the convenience of the Grand. Service was even better. We checked in to a 2BR suite in Tower 1 (closest to the Grand) but wanted a suite on a higher floor with a Strip view. The front desk associate, David, went out of his way to accommodate and to manage a room transfer while we were out golfing the next day. We ended up w a terrific suite and the move was entirely painless. The suites themselves are great: bathrooms are clean, kitchens are stocked w equipment and accessories, and having 3 BA was a real luxury for a group of 8. The 2BR suite easily accommodated us. This was my first time at the Signature, and I won't hesitate to book here again. Great value for the level of service and comfort!

Room Tip: Tower 1 closest to the Grand. Tower 3 easiest access to the center of the Strip. Even-numbered suite...

Great customer service, valet and check-in was a breeze, pools are fun and they have many facilities. Highly recomend. Great location, walking distance to many attractions. MGM Resort offers so much, too much to list.

Room Tip: Pay for early check in to enjoy more pool time. Ask about M Life. Also balconies have great views, s...

This non-drinking, non-smoking, non-gambling gal had a fabulous time hanging out at the Lazy River with my son & daughter during the day - a quick hop into the luxurious glass shower- a little lounging in the room to beat the Vegas heat and then off to the sights at night. Very centrally located. We were able to walk to the strip.

I've stayed at the Signature at MGM Grand for the past two years for the SEMA Show in October.
Conveniently located just blocks away from McCarran Airport, this non-casino property features three towers, and is securely behind large iron fencing and gates, so no public wander in and out like a typical Las Vegas hotel.
In town for a week, I always opt for the upgraded suite, featuring 950 sq. ft. This suite has a full kitchen (a must for me); dining / living room; balcony; two bathrooms; dual vanities in the master bathroom; double closets and a hidden safe.
The choice of a strip or mountain view was taken once apiece; I prefer the latter. A "strip" view actually faces the back of other hotels since the Signature is about a block and a half off of the strip itself. I loved my corner unit balcony. I had a sweeping view from the west across McCarran and wrapping around to the MGM Grand and down the strip headed south.
Valet parking can be quick in the evening, a little slower in the mornings, but always efficient. If you come back late, they will only park your car in the first tower; they bring it back to you the next day regardless of what tower you're in.
I really didn't have any complaints from my first stay two years ago to speak of. Last year, however, there was an unforgivable annoyance of noise that went into the wee hours of the morning, as if no one cared at the hotel.
Facing the strip, this would not have been an issue. A city truck, so I was told, began pumping very loudly in the vicinity of the pool from 9 p.m. to just after midnight. Sound tends to travel up a building and it was very annoying.
Thinking I was all done for the evening, I was shocked awake at about 3:30 a.m. to more noise. Being from the east coast, this was 6:30 a.m. my time, and I was beside myself. I actually photographed and videotaped the culprit. A man in a Dodge Ram pickup truck was pressure washing to driveway and the ramps going into the below ground parking. At 3:30 a.m.
The next night, I came back late, when I discovered the parking at only one tower after hours. And there was the man ready to pressure wash the second tower. I guess they assume it's O.K. to perform this service no matter what time of the night.
In comparison to many other options that I weighed on the strip, including Aria, Vdara, The Cosmopolitan and Trump (featuring kitchenette minimum), Signature is a great hotel for me.
If you want casino noise, tons of random people walking in and out, traipsing through a casino to get to your room, crowded parking garages a mile from your room, cramped rooms with few amenities - then you're obviously not staying at the Signature because none of those describe what you'll find.
I only wish they had better pricing for people staying an entire week like me, but you have to shop carefully as they do change the price every day; there is no set price. I found the smaller suite unsuitable for me, but for the average person who doesn't need the full kitchen, I'm sure it would do.

Room Tip: Definitely get a high floor for the view and less noise. Strip view avoids the wee hours parking noi...
