“Wonderful facility for first time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

The Signature is a nonsmoking facility which drew me firstly. The staff at EVERY capacity was fabulous. Since we were arriving on an early morning flight(5 hrs on the plane!) I wrote to question early check in. Ivy from MGM Concierge answered saying they'd do their best and we were so thankful that that was made a reality! Thanks to Her for getting our trip off to a great start. It was so efficient to check in at the airport-they even direct you to a shuttle service that transports you to your building. The Signature is behind the MGM Grand and includes 3 Towers all beautifully manicured, again Kudos to the staff! This area is a gated resort so no "through traffic." Each of the towers if perfectly clean and beautiful in design. Starbucks throughout!!! We were on the 22 floor in tower 2 but all 3 towers are very close. The rooms are very spacious and immaculate! Loved the small kitchen area with more than average expectations including a toaster, blender & garbage disposal. All dishes/utensils were clean. There is NO grocery on site to stock up but a Whole Foods is a short trip south of the MGM. Other mini-marts are close. Strip view-you do not see directly down on the strip being one block east- or eastern airport view would be wonderful. The added quiet, non smoking environment was a perfect choice for my husband and myself. The deli in tower 2 is an excellent choice for any quick meal, not gourmet but great breakfasts, lunch(pizza/sandwiches soups) and supper. Made to order while you wait, this deli is small and seating not vast-go early or try sitting outside! The entire staff worked very quickly and were busy each of the days we had breakfast there-The Skillet Breakfast was great and there were "Garden" choices for nonmeat eaters. Wine and a variety of beverages were available as well as a few desserts. Jacqueline, one of the wonderful staff there, was always working hard but smiled and was VERY attentive, Kudos to her!! Several nice pools, well maintained but were busy. The Signature is a KID ZONE so those who are not ok with that might wanna look elsewhere. Not alot of kid things here to do; pool would be my best guess. 2/3 of the children we encountered were well behaved and monitored by the parents-that's all I shall say about that. Some describe the walk to the MGM(since this is a separate area) as long. It is NOT. It is all enclosed and an easy walk(5-8 minutes) to the MGM and probably 10+minutes through to Las Vegas Blvd itself. There were several fitness centers throughout-well stocked and maintained. Countless restaurants(elegant to fast food court style) and bar areas are contained in the walkway over to as well as within the MGM. The Casino is vast and the entertainment housed within the MGM is excellent-again, adult geared! Not as smokey as I thought -hardly at all. Fabulous food and drinks everywhere-you wouldn't have to leave this facility if you didn't want. Clean throughout! Another excellent feature is the monorail which southern most station is at the MGM. This runs most of the length of the east side of the strip and is attached to the MGM. I great secret I guess because it was usually not busy!! It did cost $12 for a 24hr pass but it was a great time saver!! Clean and Very safe, uniformed attendants all around. Someone was always asking if you needed help or directions. Note of interest to me is that is can be difficult crossing the street! A safer alternative to crossing at street level are the over roadway walks BUT they are not at every intersection so be aware where you are and where you wanna go! It takes a little more time than you may have planned if you are walking to a restaurant on the other side of the street-esp to make reservations! The Valet staff at the Signature are all great! They helped us arrange to rent a car, had the car delivered to the hotel, parked it on site and helped arranged to have the car picked up after we were done! Most of them knew us after the first couple of days and called us by name. This is a wonderful "base" that I would consider on the south and east side of the strip. We spent 5 days here and loved every minute-Mostly due to the staff and the staff that keeps the Signature running.

We stayed there this week and I was impressed with this hotel. We found The Signature clean and luxurious. We loved that it was away from the casinos and loved the access to the MGM pools. We will stay there again when visiting Vegas.

Great facility, staff, service and value!! Room was very quiet and comfortable. This has been the best hotel stay overall I have experience yet while staying in Vegas. Everything you need or want to experience is right there. Can't wait to return!!

My family and I stayed 1 night in a Junior Suite at the end of our son’s spring break in early April. We spent our week up in UT exploring Zion and Bryce Canyon and needed a place to stay near the airport the night before our flight out of LAS. I got it for $69 a night (plus ‘resort fee’) so it was very reasonable.

Likes
* Beautiful, large accommodations at reasonable price
* Because it is not in a casino, there is NO smoke throughout facility
* Free (valet only) parking
* Just off the Strip so easy getting in and out, if you have a car
* Nice kitchenette with 2 burner stove, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishes, silverware, pot and pans
* Comfortable bed and surprisingly comfortable pull-out couch
* Room very clean with high-end furnishings, appliances and fixtures
* Nice stone counter-tops, glass shower, Jacuzzi
* Free fast Wi-Fi
* In room safe
* Nice-looking fitness center and pool area (which we did not get to use)

Dislikes
* Only feather pillows
* Not enough towel racks in bathroom (no big deal)
* VERY strict 3pm check-in
* Not sure if there is any laundry facilities
* $28 daily ‘resort fee’ (I guess covers all those ‘free’ amenities)

Summary
Very nice place. Depending on your preference, it is not right on the Strip which was great for us. If you’re like me and don’t like smoke, this is the place for you.

Good Afternoon!

Thank you ever so much for your detailed review. Your comments both good and bad were perfect! For future stays, please know that we do have regular pillows as in foam for those who dislike or are allergic to feather! As far as laundry facilities, regrettably there aren't any on property but we can always send your clothes to the dry cleaner on your behalf. Given that your pro's out weigh your con's i certainly hope we have the privileged of welcoming you back in the future!

Have a Wonderful Day!

Sincerely,
Catie Darbey

Towers behind MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Short walk to main area of MGM. Staff very nice, room is nice (great shower, comfortable bed, limited TV choices, wi-fi needs improving, all community areas clean, well equipped fitness center, limited choices for eat/drink, but casino is only minutes away). Room could be used for extened stay, equipped with kitchen essentials.

Room Tip: Only one side of hotel has balconies. Request a balcony.

Our family loves staying at the Signature. Every room is a suite and it is completely smoke free. If you must get your 'game on', the hotel is connected to the MGM next door. The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the strip. You must be a guest at the hotel in order to get into the gated property that boasts three towers with their own pool areas. Each tower is well appointed and all connected. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this property to those traveling with children.

My friends and I stayed at The Signature, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This may be the best room value in Vegas. I had a one-bedroom suite on the 34th floor, with a complete kitchen equipped with high-end appliances, and the necessary utensils, plates, etc. The suite was large, well-furnished, and quiet. The only drawback was the view, facing the airport. However, I highly recommend the Signature as a great alternative to a Strip hotel. It's a bit quieter, much roomier, and a bit more laid back. And the Strip, with all its attractions, is a two-block walk away.

Room Tip: Higher is better. Tower 3 is the furthest away from everything. You'll walk further, but have...
