“Fantastic Hotel”

The Signature was rated #1 on Trip Advisor and after reading all the great comments, decided to stay at this property. FIrst of all, the suites are so large and beautifully furnished. It was very quiet and you have the added bonus of the covered walkway that takes you to the MGM Grand so you can enjoy all the restaurants there as well as see the show KA. Everyone working at the SIgnature are extremely nice and helpful. We stayed in Building 3 which is located the farthest from the MGM Grand. My husband would have preferred being in Building 1 which is closer and has Starbucks located in their lobby. There also is a nice cafe located on this property so every morning we got our pastries, etc. from there. All the hotels have gotten so expensive in Las Vegas, but for the money this is the best, especially compared to staying in a hotel room versus this nice suite with 2 bathrooms, kitchen and living room. A very enjoyable stay for us!

“First trip to Vegas and....”

My wife and I had never been to Vegas, and wanted to renew our vows and make it memorable, so after much research and reading the many reviews on this site, we chose to spend the extra money and stay in the Junior Suite at The Signature. We drove up from Albuquerque on February 13th and arrived at The Signature at around 2:00 Vegas time. We were about an hour early, but they still happily checked us in. We had made a note on our reservation that we were renewing our vows on Valentine's Day and had requested the highest floor possible with a view of the strip. To our surpirse, they put us in Tower 3 on the 38th floor, which is the upper penthouse, and we had a balcony to boot! The view was absolutely amazing!!! There is nothing better than being on the top floor of a towering hotel with an amazing view of the strip. The room was impeccably clean, our bags were delivered within 10 minutes of our arrival to our room, and the bathroom was....well, let's just say after a long drive the first thing we did was jump in the HUGE Jacuzzi tub! Huge towels, wonderful robes, plenty of closet and drawer space, an amazingly comfortable and inviting bed....I could go on and on and on. The walk from Tower 3 to the MGM Grand took less than 10 minutes, and the three moving walkways are a definate plus. We stayed February 13th through Febraury 18th, and I am convinced that for our first trip to Vegas we picked the absolute best hotel to stay in, and we will most definately be staying there again for our return trip next spring!! You can't go wrong with The Signature!

“Great Hotel, Inept Service”

This would be a 5 star except; We arrived late for a 2 night stay. Winds were high and the airport was closed for a few hours. We had a special request for high floor, balcony & strip view. What did we get , 2nd floor, pool view, no balcony and a broken shower door. But we could check the next day to be moved. Great, so we were being moved the next day but keep in mind they can't move your luggage so we had to pack up and check it with the bellman. We came back at 430pm got the new keys and the front desk insisted on having our luggage brought up right away. I said we had an early dinner and the'O' show(don't miss it). Right away...15 minutes later I went down-they still had my luggage in storage, so much for right away. Got my bags and we made the show but no thanks to the stafff. Next morning my wife was using the fitness center and I was heading off to the Richard petty Experience at the Speedway. I called for my car(part of your resort fee), I wanted the car in 15 minutes. I get down and the keys were still with the valet, no car. Rooms are great, small kitchenette, very comfy beds, large bathrooms and roman soaking tubs. Again a 5 star if you don't encounter some of the lame staff as i did.

“MGM Signature”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2008

I stayed at the Signature for a week in February. I've stayed in a variety of properties from luxe (The Venetian in Vegas for example) to budget so I feel fairly well versed in what you can expect in a property. I was pleasantly suprised at the Signature.

I rented the unit (in tower 1...15th floor) directly from the owner. I paid him and he made the reservation and MGM sent me a confirmation. I arrived on a Sunday at 3pm and was checked into my suite in under 10mins. The bags arrived 15 mins later.

The suite (1 bedroom suite...private bedroom) was fine. Very clean. Nice linens, plenty of closet space. Ipod clock radio. Flatscreen TV that lowers into the desk in the room. The master bath is as everyone on here has described....perfect. The suite had a 3/4 bath in the main room as well. It was nicely appointed and clean.

The suite has a nice balcony off the main room. Nothing special and it could have benefited from a fews chairs and a table out there.

Kitchen is fine. Perfect for cooking in one or two night if you want too. However, if you're a gourmet cook you'll need to bring your own tools.... nothing beyond basic knives pans etc. But again more than adequate. High end appliances. Bosch dishwasher, SubZero Fridge/Freezer combo with auto-ice maker.

Hotel facilities were fine. Decent size gym in towers 1 & 3. The walk to the MGM from Tower 1 is about 5-10 minutes depending on where you want to go in the MGM hotel. Perhaps 2-3 minutes longer from Signature towers 2 & 3.

The only real issue during my stay was the valet... as noted by others in TA. The service is hit or miss. I used my car daily and always called down 15-20 before I intended to leave. Most of the time the car was ready when I arrived at the valet however I had to wait 5-20 mins on a few occasions. As long as you call down to the valet 20 mins before you leave you should be ok. Definately not something to put you off from staying at the Signature.

If you want to stay in Vegas away from the typical casino hotels the Signature is a great option.

“Excellent Stay At The Signature * * * * *”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2008

We just got back last night from The Signature at MGM for 8 days. What a property!!

This property is like a oasis in the desert. Its away from the noise and the lights ( and I like that ). There have been a lot of comments about the walk to the MGM Grand. Some people saying it takes 20 min to walk. Well let me tell you it took me about 8 min to walk there and I am 36 yrs old and in poor shape. It is all enclosed and air conditioned with over half the distance equipped with a moving walkway.

Arriving at the front gate the guard was pleasant and helpfull, telling us we were in Tower Three. At the front door we were greeted by the Bell/Valet staff. The Front Desk staff was very helpfull and quick.

We requested a Strip View and high floor and they accomidated us with 23rd floor with balcony. Just a note not all rooms have a balcony. The room was great, the bed was very comfortable and the 2 person hot tub in the bathroom was very relaxing.

The housekeeping was very good but not without problems. They forgot to restock the shampoo a few times and also the sheets for the hide a bed were taken and not replaced. A quick call and some were sent to the room very quickly. All this at 11:30 pm, very nice.

The whole property is SPOTLESS right down to the sand in the outside ashtrays being stamped with the Signature logo. By the way this is a No Smoking property, no not even the balcony. Keep in mind they do keep a large deposit and you do sign a agreement concering the non smoking.

The pool area was very very nice, but because of the time of year only Tower Two open. The pool area has two hot tubs and is heated with cabanas. The pool staff was fast and efficient with cleaning of the area.

Overall the hotel, the staff and the location were all well worth it.
