Went on a thursday - hotel was fine - rooms are nice (although no coffee maker), liked the bathtub, although would not be suitable for older guests. The big problem is that we requested a canyon view but no one told us that on the weekends the Cherry Nightclub starts at 11:30 at night and even on the 10th floor -- you can hear it very loud and clear as if it's coming into your room - complained, but was told first - we can give you earplugs and second that they would ask them to turn down the music, which they clearly didn't since it went on for hours. The hotel did seem a big understaffed - the tv checkout didn't work and the $30 resort fee per person seems a bit steep. I think the hotel could have made more of an effort to help us with the noise problem.

A bit on the expensive side but for a newer hotel.........great design. They have done a decent job of controlling the smoke. Our business experience was good but the attitude of the contact we had left a bit to be desired. Not very open or friendly. Our group had a great experience at Red Rock. We were there when the property first opened. Ate there recently (2009) ....at T Bones actually - it was very good food, expensive but nice experience!

Everything on the surface seems like it should be a top place, but in just about every aspect, it is severely lacking. From rooms that look beautiful but are poorly insulated from noise when a door is shut nearby or the late night music at the Cherry club which was fantastically designed so its music penetrates all the rooms with scenic views, to trying to reach the front desk just about anytime, to the terribly mediocre food, to the spa which feels more like a factory than a relaxing place to unwind, to incompetent/poorly trained staff who generally don't seem to care or follow-up on anything.

Hotel is understaffed and service level is atrocious- hotel parent is on brink of insolvency and this property is supposed to be one of the good ones. There's a reason and it is not just the economy. I know it is Vegas, but do you have to feel hustled and nickled and dimed and treated the whole time they don't care about anything more than just trying to take more money from you without any concern to your experience or building a longer-term relationship? Their creditors only care about short-term getting cash out- not whether you have a good experience or not. Caveat Emptor!!!

With so many other choices and better deals, even if you want to be off the strip, why go to a place that it so clearly just doesn't seem to care about its customers, much less even try!?!?

FYI, I have stayed at properties from the economy to Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton's, etc. It is not about the price point- better service at lesser places and way too little for what you get should you choose to stay here.

Was here for a conference. Big, nice rooms, excellent service, cool decor. Pretty quiet casino. I am told that locals come here and like it b/c not as many tourists. Gym closes at 8:00 PM (boooo). I highly recommend this place for conferences. We never needed to leave the hotel. Constant access to high quality food. Attentive staff. Watch out for the 48 hour cancellation. We gave 24 hrs b/c weren't staying the 3rd night, and they hassled us, but eventually decided not to charge us for it.

This new hotel/casino/resort is really nice and has updated rooms. The package I booked gave us a $50 food/beverage credit and $20 gas cards. Although there is a resort fee, the pool/ spa/ gym were well worth it. Went to the club during the nightime and caught a nice little performance.
