The Paris Hotel is well situated on The Strip. It has good public areas. However, when we got up to our room we could not open the door. We kept inserting the key card, the light went green but the door would not open. My husband went back to the front desk and they said the card was right and they would send up Security. Well, we waited and my husband got so frustrated he kicked the door and lo and behold it opened. Then the Security guy arrived and we demonstrated how the door stuck. He said they would get a locksmith to look at it. As expected no one came. The next morning we were in the room when the maid came. How she would have opened the door if we weren't there is a mystery. She, too, said a locksmith should look at it. No one ever fixed it (there 3 nights), every time we opened the door my husband had to kick and shove it, there was no follow-up from anyone at the hotel. I can't help but wonder how a frail, little person would have ever gotten into the room. Surely we were not the first guests to complain but no action taken. That was poor.
