Cleanliness was excellent and the staff was very friendly. While the hotel is located away from the Vegas strip, it's just a short cab ride to that area. The casino staff was friendly and professional in every way.
Wile this was a business trip, I'm anxious to return for a more leisure trip.

The good thing about this hotel, it did not have the Strip prices. This was my 3rd trip to Vegas, and someone booked off the strip at South Point. The rooms were beautiful (no view though), and there was a lot to do at the hotel, movies, bowling, gambling etc).

It was a $30.00 cab ride one way to the strip, and we were on the strip every day, so that was my only complaint!

Stayed there a couple of nights in August. Checked in early and went to the pool, too bad Las Vegas was having a wind storm. Didnt stay long at the pool, went to dinner at the Mexican place, not bad. I think the coolest thing was the Friday night happy hour from 5-10. The place was packed, sat withsome great locals and geat time. Next day the wind died down was able to relax at pool, I will say that the pool is not heated so beware when jumping in. If you are looking for lots of young woman this not for you. Lots of familes with young ones.
Alll and all this place is great vaule if you dont mind being a way from the strip. I just needed some R&R so it worked out for me.

I visited this property last January and had an outstanding experience. I just spent 6 days at this Hotel and was surprised to see a difference in a short time. On first visit we did not notice a smoking problem in the casino. This time the smoke was so bad we did not go to the casino at all. The rooms both times were excellent and the service in the restuarants was good. If you don't mind an off strip Hotel it is OK. If you have issues with smoking, you might consider another location.
