“Enjoy Las Vegas at this beautiful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We stayed at the Marriott Grand Chateau in July 2013. Although this facility is under construction we didn't notice the noise of it. The hotel itself is very charming and beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom villa in which we had all the amenities we could ask for. Dryer and wash machine, hot tub, fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms... It comes as advertised and was perfect. Check in was fast and we received our luggage promptly after check in. The small grocery store is open 24hrs a day and was useful to us whenever we needed some food.
The gym has free weights and a few machines and also a few treadmills are available 24hrs a day.
From the pool there is a beautiful view on the strip and we dipped in the water a few times. As for the location you can't ask for better, across the street is the entrance of the Planet Hollywood Mall and from there you are close to Aria, New York New York, Paris, Bellaggio and so on.
I guess once the new tower is done they will have a bigger pool. If you don't want to have to pay a resort fee, if you don't want to have the noise of a casino in your hotel, if you don't want to prepay for your stay and if you are on a budget but you want to have something luxurious, this is the way to go!

Stayed in a two bedroom suite at this Marriott property for three nights as part of a western vacation. Overall, an excellent location and the suite was perfect for an extended family traveling together. The only real letdown was the pool area, had plans to spend the last day relaxing by the pool only to find that the pool was not much larger than a home pool and located adjacent to a very loud bar area. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations which does include an upgraded pool area. However, the rates were very reasonable for the area and would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for 6 days on the 29th Fl, Rm 2914 facing the Airport/MGM Grand. Our suite was very nice & new but was unfortunately next to the new construction which started at 7am, Mon-Sat. We made sure we went to sleep at a decent time so we were ready to wake up at 8 am, otherwise you would really be bothered with the noise....ugh! I am sure if not located near the construction, you won't be affected!! The pool and deck area is pitifully small, which probably explains one of the reasons for the new addition. Also, there are no on-site restaurants. It is just across street from Planet Hollywood Casino & Miracle Mile Shopping area. The folks that work there are very nice and housekeeping kept our room well supplied. When construction is over, it should be quite nice.

5 nights in a 2 bedroom villa, with two teenagers. Fantastic location, just off The Strip but close enough to access everything. The service was very efficient and house keeping was immaculate. The villa was super comfortable, with a fully furnished kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a living area and dining area; the en suite bathroom to the master bedroom was HUGE - double bath, double shower and twin sinks! There was a welcome pack ready for us and the small market by reception, whilst pricey, provided everything we needed to get us through the stay. We were on the 20th floor with amazing views over The Strip, but also really quiet. There was construction work taking place, but really we were not aware of any noise. We would really recommend this as a family friendly place to stay and would definitely return.

Very much enjoyed my stay here in a 2br Villa, the location was wonderful, staff was friendly, and the room was spotless. The hotel is under construction but the noise is very minimal. I will say the pool was about 1/3rd the size that I thought it would be, and also the walls around the pool area are pretty tall which makes it hard to get a perfect view of Vegas, I will be back without question in the future.

Room Tip: Get a high floor room.

The weather was hot but the Marriott's Grand Chateau was the coolest. Their rooms are really spacious, clean and had nice floor plan. The pool, however, is small for the big Hotel/Villa. With the number of guests and being July 4th weekend there were a lot of checked in residents that day. Their service was great and the staff are so pleasant. The logistics was so good, one block from from the most popular entertainment complexes and premium shopping malls.

Room Tip: Construction should finish early next year. New restaurant, bigger pools, more shopping in the build...

We spent three nights at the Grand Chateau on a time share exchange. We prefer Marriott locations for the quality and consistency. The room was as expected for a Marriott; comfortable, clean and in excellent condition. There is construction of a new tower going on, with some noticeable noise during the day, but nothing that affected our stay.

My complaints are minor, but worth noting:

When I went down to the market between 6:30 and 7:00AM for a cup of coffee, there were three people working at the front desk. I was the only person in the lobby. On my past the front desk to the market and on my return trip back to the elevator, not one of the three bothered to look up to say, "Hello," or "Good Morning." A little courtesy goes a long way.

The Starbucks coffee that I bought was only warm when I got back to my room, which makes me wonder whether it was that morning's coffee or a carafe left out from the night before. For the price of Starbucks, it should be hot and fresh all of the time. The next day it was much hotter.

The hotel only offers valet parking and you have to present your ticket at the valet desk. You cannot call ahead from your room. This means that rather than your car waiting for you when you come down, you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes after you get to the desk. If you can't call ahead, then the should at least be a self park option.

Again, my complaints are minor and would not prevent us from coming back. Marriott will still our first choice for vacationing.
