“Great Afternoon show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2008

Mac King Comedy show was a great afternoon show. It is a fun, low key, show. He is extrememly talented and makes everything look easy. We were very impressed with his talent but also with his interaction with the audience. He truly seems to be having fun himself. We got free tickets handed to us on the side of the road as we were walking to the show. However, free means that you must buy one drink per person which is $11.75 per person. Not bad for a great show.

This is also a great show for kids to go to as well. He utilizes audience participation and improv as well. It is a fun show!

“Be sure to check him out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2008

Based on the reivews on TripAdvisor and the advice in our guidebook, we decided to give Mac King a try. We were glad we did. Show is very low-key by Vegas standards, but very funny and entertaining. Definitely a good use of your time in the afternoon. Hint: Free tickets are avaialble in the Lobby of Harrah's--no secret handshake required. Tickets require you to buy 2 drinks at about $10 each plus tax, which worked out to a grand total of about $25 for my wife and I to see the show. It's worth at least twice that.

“A little gem of a magic show”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2008

Fun magic and comedy show. Definitely worth getting near the front to enjoy. Keep in mind that it's general seating, so show up early enough to get a spot in the front area. I bought my tickets in person at Harrahs box office around lunch and received 2-for-1 on the price without even asking for it (no drink minimum).

My wife and I were one table from the front (and nearly dragged on stage), so we got to see all the subtle facial expressions. Being close offers a coziness and personal experience (like your own private performer) that may be lost when peering over several tables and past the bustling waitresses.

Expect no pomp or circumstance in this show. It is low-budget, honest afternoon of fun performed by a master entertainer. After his show several years back, I asked him why he didn't go for a bigger theater show (like Lance Burton); he said with a smile, "I'd love to, but nobody wants me." Hardly!

“Fun afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2008

Saw the show on 3-27. We picked up two for one tickets from the street hawkers. Cost with two drinks was $23. Arrived about 30 minutes before the show and visited with people in the audience. Show was great! Mac is one funny guy. Told other visitors to check the show out. Will go again.
