After researching online most hotel chapels, I was so happy to have chosen the TI Wedding Chapel. Our wedding was the most special and wonderful experience, it did not feel at all like a Las Vegas wedding and everything worked out perfect. Jennifer, the coordinator, was so bubbly and upbeat. Our minister made us feel like he enjoyed performing our wedding ceremony, not that we were just another number and another paycheque for him. And our photographer was excellent, she took all the poses and shots with our family and friends that we asked for and was extremely professional.

I found the review below mine extremely helpful with tips and hints, especially with regards to the photography. We were really not in the mood the day after our wedding to sit in an office and look at pictures, we wanted to be out enjoying Vegas, so luckily the salesperson at the photo centre was not at all pushy, we told her all we were going to do was choose the photos included in our package and we would look online to purchase other photos at a later time. The DVD was included in our package, and I must say to anyone who doesn't have it in their package, it is definitely worth purchasing. We have watched it twice since our return home 10 days ago and on the day we both had forgotten a lot of the ceremony and it was a nice reminder of a perfect day.

We also found the staff at the Treasure Island hotel to be excellent and are looking forward to staying at TI for our next trip to Vegas.

Here is one tip not related to the TI Chapel itself but weddings in general: If you receive a phonecall from someone offering to send your marriage certificate and/or documents to you after your wedding, tell the caller that you are not interested at this time. Trust me on this!
After we returned home, I answered the phone from a lady name Melanie from "Clark County" something. I had assumed it was the Clark County Recorder's office. She informed me that our minister had filed our marriage papers that day, and explained the guidelines blah blah blah, and that if I wanted to they could mail out my documents that day. She gave me a reference number and that was it. When I checked my credit card statement, the amount charged was extremely high, more so than the prices on the Clark County Recorders office website. So I phoned up there and was informed that marriages are public record and private for-profit companies can contact people to send their records, for a fee. I had no idea about this, that someone could access my telephone number and home address just by looking at my record of marriage - I think that information should not be available to someone who sees my name on a marriage document!! Nonetheless, I ended up paying 5 times as much as if I would have contacted the clerk's office directly. Buyer beware!!! I was advised over the phone by the person at the Recorder's office that they, as a government service, will never contact your or solicit you in anyway to obtain money for that service, and also, that the Chapels also give out the information on newly married couples to these private companies.

We just got back from getting married at the chapel at Treasure Island. Everything went very smoothly. Our ceremony was on a Friday afternoon and we had about 55 people. It seemed like that was pretty close to the capacity of the chapel. Our concerns going in were that the chapel and the flowers, etc., were going to be cheesy or very basic, but they were not. The Elegance (basic) package we purchased included a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere. The chapel is small but
well decorated and traditional in appearance. Even though I am sure the minister had performed a million of these ceremonies, he did a wonderful job in making the ceremony feel very personal to us. The ceremony itself was around 10 minutes and you have a choice of religious, or civil. We chose the civil and we're very pleased. After the ceremony, we had our dinner at the hotel buffet. For a large group, I would highly suggest this. Food and service were great. We had a couple young ones with our party so keep that in mind when planning a dinner as very few restaurants here allow children.

The one thing we didn't like was the way the photography works. They provide a photographer that you have to use for the wedding pictures.
During the ceremony, no one else is allowed to take flash pictures, and the lighting is such that non flash pictures do not turn out. Don't get me wrong, the TI photographer did a great job. But it would
have been nice to allow some of the semi-pro photographers in the family to get some pictures too. I am sure this kind of thing is standard though. The next day, we met with the photo studio to pick out what pictures we wanted to buy. Ideally we would have just gotten
the electronic copies (jpg's) and then had them developed at our leisure. But if you want the electronic copies, you must buy all pictures and that was $900 for a cd. After we selected the 4X6's we wanted that are included in our package, we bought the wedding ceremony on DVD for $150. That was very worth it. Then we picked out a bunch of random 8X10's and 5X7's. Before we knew it, we were up to $550 (including dvd). If I could do it over, I would buy the DVD, a couple pictures, and then buy the rest online when I had more time to think about it. You can access low res pics online to purchase later.

Tips:
* Go to the chapel in advance to talk with them. We didn't know ahead of time that we needed to do this. We were just stopping by to check it out but apparently they needed us there to finalize some things with us.

* Make sure the wedding party knows in advance of what the plan is after ceremony. We were whisked away for pictures with the TI photographer. Our group was hanging out wondering what to do until I was able to break away for a second and tell them all we'd meet them downstairs.

* Buy the bulk of your photos online after you get home. I think we got caught up in the moment and bought more than we needed.

* When getting the marriage license downtown (which took a whole 5 min) buy the certified copy of the wedding license. This is an extra $7 but that's what is needed for name change, etc.

Feel free to ask me any questions at jhayez@gmail.com. I know there isn't much info out there.

My husband and I married at the TI chapel, with all the planning done through email amd phone calls due to us living in England and what more could we have asked for, the wedding co -ordinators were fantastic helping us with all our arrangements even when we changed are minds last minute, they were most accomodating. From the flowers to the service, the video to the pictures everything was perfect. It is a beautiful chapel and comes highly recommended.

Our wedding at Treasure Island was wonderful. The staff was extremely professional and organized, which is why I am giving the chapel an excellent review. However, the only disappointment was that our Elvis impersonator, Jesse Garon, who was scheduled and paid a deposit in advance to perform the ceremony did not show up or even call or answer his phone. The chapel minister had to perform our ceremony and he was great, but it wasn't exactly what we or our guests were expecting.
It has been over a month since the wedding and we have not received our $150 deposit from Mr. Garon., who we could not even reach by telephone until two days after the ceremony.
Treasure Island did a great job with the wedding. The flowers were especially beautiful and the pictures turned out great. They even allowed online "guests" to watch our wedding later because there was a problem with the feed.
I would not recommend Mr. Garon. I would definitely recommend Treasure Island.
