“Great Resort.....but”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

Have stayed at the Wynn three times now. Once for business and twice for mini vacations. This is truly a cut above every other hotel on the strip. The rooms are well appointed, views from both sides of the hotel are great. The staff is helpful and attentive. Your choice in restaurants and the quality are over the top. My wife requires gluten-free and they all were accommodating. Her favorite was Bartolota's. The pool layout was relaxing. We would try to have drinks at the Parasol Down every night and watch the show on the lake. If you go you have to make a point of going. Here is the but......
There a couple of nightclubs at the hotel. The last two times we stayed at the hotel, we could here the low beat and thumping of the bass from the clubs. This went on until 3 am. Just loud enough to be distracting and prevent a good night's sleep. AND WE WERE ON THE 39TH FLOOR!!!!,
Will probably go again, but I will call to make my reservation and talk to someone who can place our room where the noise from the clubs is minimized.

Room Tip: Call to find where are the quiet rooms are located

We had booked 2 nights in the Tower Suites to finish off our 3 week holiday to America on a high.
The valet service was excellent and we were escorted through to reception by a lovely concierge (didn't get his name) who made us feel extremely welcome. As soon as you walk through the front doors into the atrium area you feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the strip.
Booking in was quick and efficient, we were given an upgrade to a parlour suite, which was a lovely surprise. Our receptionist brought us cold bottled water and cold towels whilst she was checking us in, that was a really nice touch.
The suite....massive entrance way with a toilet off it. Which I have to say had THE best wallpaper, it had feathers all over it, very funky. Anyway, I digress!! The parlour had a nice sized desk, comfortable couch, table, massive flat screen tv and floor to ceiling curtains with remote control.
The bedroom was huge, again, floor to ceiling windows, king size bed with pillows to die for, and lots of drawer space. Another big flatscreen tv and ipod docking station.
Going through to the bathroom there was a massive shower, whirlpool bath, another seperate toilet, two sinks and a make up table with tv. A walk in closet with rails on either side and another set of drawers was handy for storing our luggage. Everything was decorated in a very soothing luxurious manner, there were more than enough towels of every size for a family of four to use, let alone the two of us!
As part of our Tower Suites experience we had breakfast included at Tableau. Again, attentive service, every staff member was helpful and cheerful. On our lastate at The night we ate at The Country Club. Wow. We managed to get a patio table overlooking the waterfall at the 18th hole. Yes, you guessed it, staff were outstanding, food excellent and the view was to die for.
Checking out was painless, concierge staff printed off our boarding cards, collected our bags, brought the car round, did everything bar go on the flight for us!
We would stay at The Wynn again in a heartbeat, the only problem is now that I've seen how the other half live I'd want to book the Tower Suites again.
Our only downside was that we just didn't have enough time to use the private pool, spa or room service, it's on my list for next time!

We stayed at The Wynn for three nights prior to travelling to Marco Island in Florida. Our package was booked with Virgin Holidays.
On arrival we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff.
Our room was absolutely stunning and had an amazing view of the strip. The inside, outside and the food again, stunning.
One gripe ' The Resort Fee' surely this could be included in the booking negotiated with the company we made our booking to charge for wi fi is unacceptable.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and really enjoyed it. The lobby area is beautiful and does not have the slightly tired feel that some of the other hotels have. Check in was a rather slow process but thankfully the queue was minimal.

We had a king room, the bathroom was gorgeous and the room lovely. We had a nice view of the lower end of the strip and our room contained a sofa and small dining table with 2 chairs as well as a desk in addition to the very comfy bed. We needed a fridge for personal use and had to pay $25 for this which wasn't ideal. Wifi is included in the non optional resort fee. The rooms were really well serviced, one day as late as 10pm as we'd used the room all day. Room service was to a very good standard and the spa was wonderful although men and women were segregated which is a shame for couples.

We ate in the SW restaurant and Red 8 so at a high and lower end of their range. The food at SW was great although they were a little perplexed at my partners gluten allergy despite being pre warned. The entertaining interludes were slightly unusual but overall enjoyable. Service at Red 8 is very quick and the food is overall good although our satay chicken was slightly raw in the middle.

Being on the end if the strip the location isn't the best but taxi travel eliminates this problem. I would certainly recommend the hotel.

From start to finish the hotel was the perfect place to stay. Quick and efficient check in, really friendly house keeping and every member of staff made you feel very welcome. It's expensive but worth every penny. The rooms are fantastic and pure decadence. Only downside was music from the club which reached our room on the third top floor. Far too noisy given the money we paid.

The hotel lobby is decorated with a lot of taste (not always the case in Las Vegas...). Rooms are comfortable and large, staff is extremely attentive and service oriented; check-in and check out was well organized and efficient. Good dining options in the hotel (tried Tableau for a business breakfast). Got upgraded to a room on the second to last floor and the view was fabulous (even though when there was a bad storm, I wish I were on a lower floor)

Just returned from our first stay at the Wynn. Registration was efficient even though many people arrived about the same time . Staff was courteous and helpful.
Our room was on the 52nd floor facing the strip. It was a beautiful big room with desk and leather sofa. Switch on the wall controls opening and closing of drapes. Very large bathroom with double sinks. Everything spotlessly clean.
The casino has good ventilation, so it doesn't smell smoky. It's quite obvious that the carpets and decor are well maintained and still look new.
There are many choices for eating, casual or formal and food was excellent.
Definitely will return!
