I watched Ka and Mystere and as Ka had no audience participation, I was most happy!

Yup, Ka is longer - but I didn't have a problem sitting still for a couple of hours. The stunts are not as impressive as those in Mystere, however I didn't have an issue following the story line and the scenery is much, much better. Therefore it depends what type of show you prefer, as my sister and Husband preferred Mystere, whereas I preferred Ka.

The tickets aren't that cheap, therefore I would reccomend thoroughly researching all the different Cirque du Soleils before choosing which one you think you would prefer - if you want something that has impressive sets, nice music and isn't hard to follow, I would reccomend Ka.

There were about 4-5 scenes that were just breathtaking, two of which involved tipping the moving platform on its end. Another scene involved one extremely impressive show of strength, balance and agility that involved a guy and girl swinging back and forth and holding each other by just fingers. In one of the beginning scenes, a group of warriors use both hands and feet to move "spears" around. Lastly, there is one very impressive scene involving two men keeping their balance and running and jumping on what appear to be giant hamster wheels. What works is prob worth the price of admission by itself if you buy a cheaper ticket, but the rest of it is just painful. The simlulated martial arts are terrible and look like a bunch of eight-year old kids play fighting. There are a couple of scenes in which the set design looks like some cheesy 80's big hair rock video, and what takes place as far as storyline here, as well as most of the production, is incomprehensible and annoying. Other low points include a horribly drawn out "comic relief" scene, at least I guess that's what it was, which should prob entertain everyone under the age of 7. Really, the contrast between what worked and what failed miserably is so sharp, you feel like you're watching a bunch of terrible filler in between the good stuff. Having seen "Mystere" only 2 nights earlier, I was a bit disappointed in the overall experience.

After seeing Love with the Cirque performers, and thinking it was incredible, we thought we'd give this a try. It was a very expensive mistake. The storyline was nonexistent, and like many -- most? -- of the people in the Ka audience, we were bored silly. Most folks were restlessly shifting in their seats and checking their watches. A lot. Save your money and try another Cirque show -- this was truly awful.
