“Good food plus great for a group.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2012

If you take the time to go to a Japanese steakhouse, make sure you call ahead to reserve a Teppanyaki table! These are the tables where they cook in front of you. You may get an authentic Japanese guy or a guy from Mexico but it's fun either way. Hamada of Japan was a good meal and an entertaining time. Be sure to try the Saki!

“Great fun, nice food, but pricey'”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2012

All the usual performance, freshly cooked food. But was not the tastiest I've eaten, and was more expensive than other similar restaurants.

“Mainstream and a bit pricey but good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2012

This is one of the oldest sushi joints in town, it's a newer building but these folks have a small dynasty in Vegas. They run other locations, but the main one on Flamingo caters to every type of clientel, from sushi bar to the acrobatic presentations to the shabu- shabu, sukiyaki, teppan room... you name it they have it. I only go for the sushi, its quite good if not too adventurous. I can see the place would be a lot of fun with a group in one of the back presentation rooms.

“Decent Sushi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

Went for Sushi one night during my stay. Disappointed to see that the crab used in lots of the rolls was 'chopped" (AKA as cheaper fill crab) Pricing didn't reflect "cheaper" crab fill.

OK, but not the best Sushi ever!

“One of our worse restaurant EVER”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2012

Honestly we got so disappointed by this restaurant, I would not recommend it to anyone!
from the moment our waitress arrived, she was very grumpy and hardly spoke to us
we both got a noodle soup, teryaki salmon and some tempura
the noodle soup was really bad (it was just broth and noodle, nothing else in it) it had a very bad after taste and after two mouthful we both gave up. The salmon was ok, I liked it but my husband thought it was over cooked. the tempura were just very greasy and was very tasteless. From the point we got our food, we did not see the waitress again (and I honestly dont know why because we really tried to be smily and patient) in the end, we had to grab someone else to get the bill. I was still pretty hungry after the meal so I went to get a slice of pizza! There are so many excellent restaurants in Vegas, I would honeslty say : dont bother!
