“Attention to Detail with a Smile”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2012

I was in Vegas as support staff for a seminar. The hotel is a wonderful place to stay, recently remodeled, close to the strip and all the amenities you would hope for a comfortable stay. The folks at the renaissance went above and beyond to make sue the event went smoothly and the staff running the event were supported through the long hours that were required. I hope to be back soon!

“Comfortable Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

Beautiful Hotel!! I love the Strip but it was nice not to walk 5 miles from the Hotel door to the Elevators and another 5 miles from the Elevators to the room like in the big Las Vegas Blvd. hotels. Clean and modern. Nice costumer service and they serve Illy Coffee!!
I had a little problem during my stay but the Front Desk Manger called me and apologize (sincerely apologies) and that make me feel better about the stay.
The hotel doesn't charge a "resort fee" witch is good if you don't spend time in the room and you are obligated to pay for something you will not use. And if you need internet there is Free WiFi in the lobby.

For sure I will back to stay here!

“Great change from the craziness of typical Vegas hotels”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2012

The Renaissance is so quiet that you would never know you were in LasVegas. We loved coming back to a classy, quiet hotel after the craziness of the Vegas scene. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and classy with a comfy bed and great pillows. We did not eat at the restaurants but enjoyed Lilly coffee and fruit/yogurt cups at the E-Go coffee bar each morning. They also have a well equiped workout room with complimentary juice and fruit. There is a charge for wi-fi in the rooms, but when I politely commented that it should be free the desk clerk waived the fee. Seems that they have a policy of charging this to business guests but not to recreational guests. There is also free wi-fi in the hotel lobby. The location is close to the Monorail and the Las Vegas Convention Center and an quick cab ride to the strip. Will definitely stay there again.

“An oasis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012 via mobile

Let's get this out of the way--I do not much care for the Las Vegas casino and drinking scene. So when I come here for business I look for ways to avoid the jumble. The Renaissance Hotel is my latest best answer.

The hotel is close, clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part (more on this later). The bar/grill had good food and the waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating. The monorail is right out the front door if you want a quick ride to the Strip.

The exercise equipment is not new but worked well. Several machines could use a good cleaning, however. My only other complaint about this hotel was the valet. On arrival day I stopped to inquire about early check in. The valet was both rude and demanding about him needing to park the car (not true-there is lots of free guest parking). The bell staff and the front desk staff were excellent but need to be to overcome the immediate negative first impression left by the valet.

Overall, I recommend this hotel and I will come back.

While we are sorry to learn of your interaction with our valet, we are thrilled to hear that you had so many other wonderful things to say about your stay. We will be certain to share your feedback with the appropriate departments, as we always use these reviews as opportunities for improvement. It simply terrific that you found us to be an oasis from the Strip, as this is our goal for every guest.

We hope you will choose us when you travel to Las Vegas again.

“A Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

I can't say enough about this hotel. I stayed there over the first weekend of December 2012. I was greeted by a valet that rushed from the building to greet me before I could get out of the car. Check in was smooth and quick as I was friendly greeted by the manager and another front desk associate. The room was in perfect order and a large screen tv greeted me personalized welcome message. Since I've mentioned the tv, let me go into a little detail. I visit Vegas from the east coast about 3 times a year. I've stayed in sevaral hotels and timeshares throughout the area and the Renaisance had the best combination of tv's and channel selection. For the most part, they had a great majority of the major cable stations which is rare. they even had NFL Network (big plus). By comparison, I also stayed down the street at Terrible's and they had about 1/5 the number of stations.

The Renaissance is a quick drive to the strip and other attractions. It's located right next to the convention center. If you need a casino, you can find one with a short walk less than a block away. Parking is easy, simply choose the free valet or self parking garage. Although I didn't have a chance to use them, they also have dining/bar options available on site.

Super comfortable bed with duvet and nice views too!!
